Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Tahfidz program at SMAN 6 Padang. This research is included in the type of evaluation research using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) approach from Stufflebeam & Shinkfield. The instruments used for data collection in this research were interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires conducted on students and teachers. The results of this research show that: 1) Implementation of the tahfidz program is very necessary for students and teachers to develop noble student character; 2) The quality and availability of facilities that support the Tahfidz program still need to be improved, especially in terms of the availability of libraries, technological facilities, worship facilities and sanitation; 3) The implementation of the tahfidz program has run smoothly; 4) The Tahfidz program is considered to have helped students become Hafidz or Hafidzah which has an influence on the students' character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal dan pengalaman magang memengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, mengingat banyaknya lulusan perguruan tinggi yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Sampel diambil dari mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dan pengalaman magang terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang baik dan pengalaman magang yang memadai cenderung lebih siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa serta memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan di bidang pendidikan untuk merancang program yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

The evaluation of the Professional Teacher Education Program for Social Science subjects at the State University of Padang uses the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The context evaluation understands the background, needs, and regulations of the UNP Social Studies PPG. Input evaluation evaluates various aspects of the institution, including the curriculum, facilities, funding, and qualifications of lecturers and students. The process stage analyzes the overall implementation of the program. The product stage evaluates the knowledge, skills, results, and impacts of the PPG Social Studies program. Through interviews and questionnaires, the study method used both qualitative and quantitative methods. This study involved 184 pre-service PPG students in the field of social studies at UNP, recruited for the 2023/2024 academic year using the purposive sample approach. The strategies for analyzing qualitative data include: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) verification and conclusion drawing. Quantitative descriptive analysis was done with SPSS version 25. The overall outcomes of the study, as determined by the CIPP model, fall within the good category. Students in this program have a good understanding of the educational context and are ready to enter the school environment. The program also ran well and met the set objectives, with adequate support to gradually develop students' teaching skills.

Abstract

Panampuang Village has been established since the Dutch colonial era, but the exact time of its establishment cannot be ascertained due to the lack of information and literature. In addition, the issue of the division of the village territory consisting of 7 jorong, which was previously divided into 4 villages, is a classic challenge in determining the boundaries of the village territory. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to create clear village regulations related to the anniversary and boundaries of the village territory (rule create), which are then implemented through socialization and are expected to receive recognition from the community (rule application). The approach method used is participatory training, including preparation, planning, and implementation, with techniques such as games, case studies, practice, brainstorming, discussions, and lectures. This program involves the village government and community elements such as Niniak Mamak, Alim Ulama, Cadiak Pandai, youth, and women. This stage is followed by monitoring to ensure implementation according to plan, as well as evaluation to assess the success of implementing the regulations.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the practicality of economic learning media by developing PowerPoint-based learning videos as interactive learning media. As an interactive and effective learning media, this learning media is not only visually attractive but must also be practical in its use by teachers and students. The evaluation of the practicality of this learning media includes aspects of convenience for users and in accordance with user needs. The research method for validating the practicality of learning media uses a quantitative descriptive approach using questionnaires and observation instruments given to expert validators, teachers and students at the high school level and above. The results of this research show that Powtoon-based learning media has a high level of practicality as indicated by an average score of 94% in ease of use for teachers and students and 100% in suitability for learning needs. From this research, it is identified that powtoon animation videos are practical and effective learning media in economics learning.

Abstract

Financial accounting learning in higher education often faces challenges in ensuring that the evaluation methods used can effectively and efficiently measure students' understanding and skills. The background of this problem highlights the importance of improving the quality of assessment as an integral part of efforts to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to explore the role of e-Assessment, which is a digital technology-based assessment, in improving the quality of learning and the quality of assessment in financial accounting learning. The literature review method is used to identify, review, and synthesize various empirical studies, meta-analyses, and policy reports that discuss the implementation of e-Assessment in various educational contexts, including in the field of accounting. The results of this literature review show that the implementation of e-Assessment has several significant advantages. First, e-Assessment allows for more accurate and consistent measurement of student learning achievement, as it is able to reduce the subjectivity of assessment and increase transparency. Second, e-Assessment also improves administrative efficiency, by automating the process of assessing and reporting results, which in turn saves time and resources. In addition, e-Assessment encourages student involvement more actively in the learning process, as they get real-time feedback that helps them understand the strengths and weaknesses in their learning. In conclusion, e-Assessment not only supports more transparent and interactive learning, but also strengthens the validity and reliability of assessment results in financial accounting learning. Thus, e-Assessment can be an effective tool to support the improvement of the quality of learning and assessment in higher education, especially in the field of financial accounting

Abstract

This community service activity aims to: a) Workshop and assistance in processing cow dung into compost as a green economy solution in order to empower the economy of farmer households, b) Workshop and assistance in using compost grinding machines to produce better quality compost. The series of workshop activities took place in August 2024. The partners of this activity were farmers who were members of farmer groups in Jambak Sunua Barat Village, Nan Sabaris District, Padang Pariaman with 10 participants. This workshop activity received support from the Head of the Farmer Group, the Nagari Government, and the Nan Sabaris District. At that time, the participants of the activity also had high motivation and were very enthusiastic about participating in the workshop so that the activity was followed seriously. The results of this activity showed an increase in the ability of farmer groups as workshop participants and assistance in processing cow dung into compost as well as the use of compost grinding machines to produce better quality compost.

Abstract

Aimed to analyze how interpersonal communication and internship experience affect job readiness among students. This research emerged from the pressing issue of elevated unemployment rates among university graduates, stemming from inadequate preparation and a dearth of relevant experiences. This quantitative study employed questionnaires to measure levels of interpersonal communication, internship experience, and job readiness. The participants in the study were drawn from the vibrant community of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of State Padang. A thorough statistical analysis was undertaken to delve into the intricate relationships among a range of variables. The findings revealed notable beneficial impacts of interpersonal communication and internship experience on job readiness. Students with good interpersonal communication skills and meaningful internship experiences demonstrated higher preparedness for entering the workforce

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of religiosity and peers on academic dishonesty students at the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University. The type of research used is Quantitative Descriptive. The population in this study were active students of the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University, class 2019-2022. Non – sampling method Probability Sampling. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling, Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly and through google form. Questionnaires were distributed to 80 students of the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21. The results of this study show that there is an influence of the variables religiosity and peers significantly towards academic dishonesty to students of the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University. The results of the F test simultaneously show that religiosity and peers together have a significant effect on academic dishonesty. The coefficient of determination value shows that religiosity and peers are able to influence the dependent variable, namely academic dishonesty amounting to 35.6%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2017-2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi pada tahun 2017-2021 yang berjumlah 63 perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 19 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Profitabilitas diukur dengan menggunakan Return on Equity (ROE), Leverage diukur dengan menggunakan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Kebijakan Dividen diukur dengan menggunakan Devidend Per Share (DPS) dan nilai Perusahaan diukur dengan menggunakan Prive Book Value (PBV). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi panel dengan menggunakan program Eviews 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Profitabilitas, leverage dan kebijakan dividen secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi, (2) Profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi, (3) leverage berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi, (4) Kebijakan dividen berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi.
