Abstract

Pengendalian suhu yang presisimerupakan aspek krusial dalam prosespemurnian katalisator untuk menjagaefisiensi, kualitas produk, dan umur pakaikatalis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmemodelkan dan merancang sistempengendalian cascade pada heater danregenerator guna mengoptimalkan suhuproses. Sistem cascade control digunakankarena kemampuannya merespons gangguansecara lebih cepat melalui dua looppengendalian, yaitu primer dan sekunder.Model matematis sistem dikembangkanmenggunakan pendekatan transfer function,dilanjutkan dengan simulasi kinerja untukmembandingkan efektivitas pengendaliancascade dengan single-loop control. Hasilsimulasi menunjukkan bahwa pengendaliancascade memberikan respons lebih cepatterhadap perubahan setpoint, meredamgangguan lebih efektif, dan menghasilkanerror yang lebih kecil dibandingkan kontroltunggal. Sistem ini mampu menjaga suhupemurnian tetap stabil, efisien, danmendukung keberlanjutan proses industriberbasis katalis.Kata Kunci: kontrol cascade, pemurniankatalisator, heater, regenerator, pengendaliansuhu.

Abstract

Motor pompa air R385 pada alat pengontrol pH air akuarium ikan berperan dalam menariklarutan buffer asam atau basa dari wadah penyimpanan dan memasukkannya ke akuarium untukmencapai penyesuaian pH yang diinginkan. Perubahan tingkat asam dan basa di dalam akuariummemiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kondisi ikan Guppy. Hal ini disebabkan oleh motor pompa airyang dihidupkan tanpa kontrol. Untuk memastikan akurasi jumlah larutan yang dikeluarkan, pentinguntuk mengontrol kecepatan motor pompa air pada alat pengontrol pH air akuarium ikan Guppy.Kontrol logika fuzzy digunakan untuk meminimalisir kesalahan dalam pemberian larutan asam ataubasa oleh alat kontrol pH air akuarium. Kontrol logika fuzzy memiliki beberapa tahapan, yaitufuzzifikasi, inferensi aturan (rule), dan defuzzifikasi.Kata Kunci- Kontrol Logika Fuzzy, Fuzzy Sugeno, Kontrol pH Air.

Abstract

This article proposes a new photovoltaic (PV) Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) using PID-MRAC with a novel tracker of Gradual Capacitor-Charging (GCC) and Capacitor-to-Capacitor charge transfer (C2C). The research contribution is omitting the power fluctuation of optimisation-based MPPT and discontinuity or power loss of I-V sweep-based MPPT. GCC regularly and deterministically locates the maximum PV power voltage (Vmpp) by connecting a parallel capacitor to PV only when the PV is isolated from the converter. If one cycle of I-V sweeping is completed, C2C empties the capacitor by transferring its charge to a power supply capacitor to avoid the power-loss problem. A PID and non-inverting buck–boost converter was assigned to regulate the PV output voltage (Vpv) at Vmpp, thus enabling maximum energy harvesting. The Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) adjusts the PID parameters to maintain the MPPT performance. Simulation results show that the MPPT worked well against load and irradiance changes, Iph=2.0A for 0.6s and Iph=3.8A for 1.4s. The GCC-C2C successfully locates Vmpp within 410ms. The PID could regulate Vpv to Vmpp with a settling time of 200ms at the initial stage or less than 10ms at the next stages. The MRAC also successfully tuned the PID parameters during operation. The superiority of this method over the P&O MPPT is its capability to deliver more power at various load power rates. Harvesting efficiency of the proposed MPPT at 5 ohm and 50 ohm loads is 96% and 82%, respectively, while P&O is only 84% and 21%.

Abstract

Pendekatan perancangan neural network saat ini, menghasilkan rancangan yang tidak efisien. Rancangan yang tidak efisien ini menyebabkan penggunaan sumber daya yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan network yang lebih efisien. Hal ini juga merupakan permasalahan yang dialami network LeNet5, sebuah convolutional neural network untuk klasifikasi digit tulisan tangan yang dilatih dengan menggunakan dataset MNIST. Kami mengusulkan pendekatan MorphNet untuk optimasi kebutuhan flops-nya. Pendekatan MorphNet mengerdilkan network dengan menggunakan L1 regularization untuk menonaktifkan neuron pada tingkat aktivasinya. Neuron yang tidak aktif ini memiliki imbas yang kecil terhadap kinerja network, sehingga akan diusulkan untuk dihilangkan pada struktur yang baru. Network ini kemudian dapat dibesarkan untuk realokasi sumber daya. Sebagai hasilnya, didapatkan beberapa network baru yang lebih efisien dalam kebutuhan flops hingga 69%, dengan tetap mempertahankan tingkat akurasi pada rentang 98.5%. Kami menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan MorphNet berhasil meningkatakan efisiensi dengan cara menghilangkan neuron yang berimbas kecil terhadap kinerja network.

Abstract

Pada sistem tenaga listrik, kualitas daya listrik yang diterima oleh beban yang jauh dari pusat pembangkitan listrik semakin menurun dan rugi-rugi daya semakin meningkat. Dalam mempertahankan kualitas tegangan dan menambah pasokan daya pada jaringan, perlu pemanfaatan pembangkit energi matahari yaitu Photovoltaic Distributed Generation (PVDG). Penelitian ini membahas optimasi PVDG dengan melakukan pencarian lokasi injeksi dan kapasitas daya menggunakan metode Ant Colony Optimization Continuous Domain (ACOCD) dan Improved Particle Swarm Optimization (IPSO). Terdapat tiga skenario yang di implementasikan pada pada sistem yang berdasarkan peningkatan nilai injeksi dan penyebaran pembangkit dari sumber pembangkitan awal. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan kondisi ideal sistem terdapat pada optimasi skenario-3 dengan penambahan 4 PVDG dengan daya injeksi 50% nilai daya beban dengan konstrain yang diberikan pada batas bawah pembangkitan yaitu 0.5 kW dan batas atas pembangkitan  yaitu 2 MW. Rugi-rugi daya setelah injeksi daya PVDG, pengurangan daya yang sebelum injkesi 5.08% namun, setelah injeksi daya PVDG rugi-rugi daya aktif menurun menjadi 0.09% (ACOCD) dan 0,13% (IPSO). Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan metode ACOCD lebih baik dibandingkan metode IPSO.

Abstract

Motor DC Minertia tipe UGTMEM-03STC25 merupakan salah satu alat di Laboratorium Sistem Kontrol Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Dengan menggunakan metode RLS motor DC Minertia tipe UGTMEM-03STC25 diperoleh model terbaik adalah orde 4 dengan parameter a1 = -0.405, a2 = -0.01, a3 = -0.0123, a4 = -0.0138, b1 = 0.0095, b2 = 0.0169, b3 = 0.9036, dan b4 = -0.3521. Setelah dilakukan uji validitas data percobaan dengan whiteness test, akaike's FPE, dan Fitness test Motor DC Minertia tipe UGTMEM-03STC25 didapatkan hasil nilai PRBS dengan batas bawah 50 dan batas atas 70 mendapatkan nilai Best Fits sebesar 83.3973% dan nilai FPE 0.1041, dan ketika nilai PRBS dengan batas bawah 60 dan batas atas 90 mendapatkan nilai Best Fits 90.4838% dan nilai FPE 0.1891 dan nilai PRBS dengan batas bawah 50 dan batas atas 90 mendapatkan nilai Best Fits 92.2456% dan nilai FPE 0.1065. Angka keakurasian ini dinyatakan dalam persentase, dimana semakin besar nilainya (maksimal 100%) dapat diartikan keluaran model sudah mendekati keluaran sistem yang sesungguhnya. dan nilai FPE pada data-data tersebut sudah sangat mendekati nol semakin kecil nilai FPE yang didapat, maka model tersebut semakin mewakili system yang telah dimodelkan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze community welfare through the Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) frameworkDesign/methodology: Utilizing a Comprehensive Literature Review (CLR) approach, the research examines previous studies indexed in Scopus and Emerald, selecting three relevant articles that explore community welfare from the IHDI perspectiveFindings: The IHDI framework is based on five maqasid sharia: ad-Din (religion), an-Nafs (life), al-Aql (education), an-Nasl (family), and al-Mal (wealth). Thus, well-being is assessed through both material (M) and non-material (NM) dimensions. IHDI and HDI have a positive correlation, therefore IHDI can serve as a predictive measure for HDI rankings, the advantages of IHDI are more comprehensive and holistic in measuring community welfare.Practical implications: The Islamic Human Development Index (HDI) can be calculated to quantify human well-being in Islam.Originality/Value: There is no literature review that specifically discusses the concept of IHDI from several previous authors.

Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive review of regenerative braking methods for induction motors utilized in electric propulsion systems. Regenerative braking is a crucial technology for enhancing the energy efficiency of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) by converting kinetic energy back into electrical energy during braking. The review focuses on several regenerative braking techniques, including self-excited regenerative braking using capacitors and inverter-based regenerative braking. By evaluating the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and practical applications of these methods, the paper identifies the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. Additionally, recent advancements in the field are discussed, along with suggestions for future research directions to optimize energy recovery in electric propulsion systems. The goal is to provide valuable insights for engineers and researchers working towards the development of more efficient and cost-effective regenerative braking systems, ultimately contributing to the advancement of electric and hybrid vehicle technologies.

Abstract

Autism is a complex developmental disorder that has always been challenging in the education and medicine field. The Islamic teaching and learning model for autistic children requires a special approach. Only a small number of teachers and parents can facilitate autistic children effectively and efficiently. In Indonesia, the number of autistic children is increasing daily, yet there are limited competent teachers and parents to handle them. Meanwhile, the teaching and learning of Islam require educators to select and use multi-approach, multi-media, and multi-methods appropriately to be effective and efficien. This research aimed to examine an experiential-based sociological approach to learning about Islam for Autistic children at Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur’an Ponorogo, Indonesia, using a qualitative method. A purposive sampling technique was used to select subjects, specifically teachers and children. The data was collected using interviews, observation, and documentation.‎ The results showed that the experience-based habitus sociology approach effectively teaches autistic children in three cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Monitoring and intensive evaluation to assess the activities at home and school requires the cooperation of parents and teachers and follow-up efforts to enhance learning.

Abstract

Essential tremor is a neurological disorder that causes uncontrollable hand tremors, interfering with daily activities such as eating. This study aims to develop a spoon stabilization system controlled by a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller, which was tuned using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and the Cohen-Coon method for performance comparison. The system utilized an inertial measurement unit to detect tremors, while a Kalman filter was used to reduce noise before a microcontroller controlled a servo motor to stabilize the spoon. The system was evaluated through simulations and hardware implementation, and its performance was assessed based on rise time, overshoot, delay time, and settling time. The results showed that the Kalman filter significantly reduced noise, lowering the average pitch angle error deviation from 1.028° to 0.037° and the roll angle error from 0.822° to 0.031°. The PSO-based tuning outperformed the Cohen-Coon method in response speed and system stability, achieving a faster rise time (0.09 s for roll, 0.34 s for pitch), a shorter settling time (0.74 s for roll, 0.59 s for pitch), and a lower delay time (0.1 s for roll, 0.15 s for pitch). However, the Cohen-Coon method resulted in a lower overshoot for the roll angle (6.08%) compared to the PSO-based tuning (11.98%). The findings suggest that implementing a PID controller optimized via PSO is a viable approach for spoon stabilization in individuals with essential tremor.
