Abstract

Behavior is an organism's response to internal and external stimuli. By definition, behavior is an action performed by a living being in reaction to a stimulus. A consistent pattern of response to specific stimuli is categorized as behavior. An animal's ability to survive is reflected in these behavioral patterns. Each animal species has a unique way of acting, corresponding to their anatomical structure. Therefore, it is crucial to study animal behavior patterns in depth, given their critical role in maintaining ecosystem sustainability and balance. This research aims to investigate how the provision of stimuli to animals generates responses in the form of behavioral patterns towards their environment. By writing this research, it is hoped that the general public can understand more about animal behavior patterns. This research method is a literature review or literature review through several research articles, this review is done by searching from a database in the form of Google Scholar and obtaining 5 research articles.

Abstract

Penelitian magang ini mendokumentasikan teknik pembibitan mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni) di Persemaian Permanen UPTD BSPTH Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Sumatera Barat, dilaksanakan 5 Januari – 18 Februari 2026. Melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara terstruktur, kajian meliputi tahapan pengadaan benih dari petani lokal, perendaman benih selama 24 jam, penyemaian berlapis di bedengan bersubstrat cocopeat, serta penyapihan ke polybag bermedia tanah, sekam bakar, dan cocopeat dengan perbandingan 3:1:1. Bibit secara konsisten mencapai tinggi siap distribusi 30-40 cm dalam tiga bulan. Perendaman mempercepat imbibisi dan meningkatkan persentase perkecambahan, sedangkan cocopeat mempertahankan kelembapan dan aerasi zona akar selama fase bedengan maupun polybag. Pemeliharaan harian yang ketat penyiraman dua kali sehari, pembuangan serasah, dan pemantauan hama menjaga angka kematian bibit tetap rendah. Protokol terstandar UPTD BSPTH terbukti andal menghasilkan bibit mahoni berkualitas tinggi yang siap mendukung reboisasi berskala luas di Sumatera Barat

Abstract

Rabbits are a group of animals that are very popular and enjoyed by the community. Rabbits, in general, have the high biological and economic potential to produce quality meat, skin, and hair, as well as pets (ornamental) and modern business farming. Rabbits are well known in Indonesia and developed mostly for farming. This literature study discusses morphometric characteristics and genetic distances among rabbits. The parameters used were head length (PK), head width (LK), ear length (PTL), ear width (LTL), chest circumference (LKD), chest width (LD), humerus bone length (PH), radius-ulna bone length (PRU), tibial bone length (PT), and body length (PB). The results of body variables measurement in FG rabbits had a higher mean for body size, including PK (12.64 cm), PTL (13.59 cm), LTL (6.47 cm), PH (9.52 cm), PRU (8, 95 cm), and PB (41.97 cm) compared to other families. Genetic distance shows that it has a close genetic distance (0.63106), while the farthest genetic distance is found between Rexb rabbits and ES rabbits, which is 6.96749. The genetic distances and tree phenogram construction are useful for estimating kinship between Rabbits clumps.

Abstract

Problems surroundings existence in Indonesia are very diverse, which include associated pollutants withinside the river. Ecology surroundings river in Indonesia has its very own complexities of problems, possibilities and demanding situations which are exceptional from different regions. The major trouble in ecology river surroundings is trouble pollutants garbage plastic mainly microplastic. The cause of this studies is to explain photo and effect pollutants microplastics in rivers. Method used is qualitative or evaluate literature. Microplastic is skilled plastic degradation and length diameter < 5mm. Source microplastic is composed from particularly number one and secondary. Microplastics can input rivers thru effluents from home and business activities. Domestic sewers and business retailers are getting the primary approach of shipping to the river flow. The effect of microplastics at the surroundings may be withinside the shape of pollutants to the aquatic surroundings, together with growing water turbidity and the effect of microplastics on organisms, specifically aquatic organisms, particularly the capability for microplastics to be digested even with the aid of using the smallest organisms withinside the habitat.
