Abstract

SOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN PASTEM GANG AND PETARUNG LA GANG AT PADANG PARIAMAN REGENCY *Mufti Ali1,dan Erianjoni2 1Master Program of Social Science of Universitas Negeri Padang 2Lecturer Master Program of Social Science of Universitas Negeri Padang Email : muftisos@gmail.com erianjonisosiologi@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the form of social behavior of adolescent girls in Pastem Gangs and Petarung LA Gangs at Padang Pariaman Regency. Location of this research are Batang Anai Sub-district and Lubuk Alung Sub-district. This research use qualitative approach with descriptive type. The data obtained through observation, interview and documentation study. The selection of informants is done by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Deviant Sub-cultural theory by Robert K. Merton. The result of this research are: (1) Adolescent girls background joining to Pastem Gangs and Petarung LA Gangs are: a) Family factor, b) Peer factor, c) Economy factor. (2) forms of adolescent girls social behavior in gangs are: a) Gathering until late night, b) Drink miras with all gangs member, c) Mancor (see the single organ event). Abstract

The aims of this study are to 1) describe the forms of changes in socio-economic life after the earthquake disaster on September 30, 2009; and 2) Explaining the impact of change on the interaction of the society of Pariaman City. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. To test the validity of the data, the researcher triangulated the data. The research informants were the victims of the September 30, 2009 earthquake, society leaders, sub-districts, and city governments. The technique of selecting informants using snowball sampling. Data analysis of this research was carried out using an interactive model developed by Matthew Miles and Huberman (1992). The findings of this study indicate the changes in the socio-economic life of the society after the September 30, 2009 earthquake marked by the increasingly heterogeneous social life such as the formation of new groups in society, the diversity of livelihoods. The impact of the change causes society to become more individualistic, social relations are more tenuous and more selfish and the society is dependent on obtaining earthquake relief funds.

Abstract

Community service activities with this type of Community Partnership Program (PKM) are carried out as a form of higher education participation (Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences – Padang State University/FIS-UNP) in Middle Schools First (SMP) in Pariaman City by taking into account the various conditions experienced by students and the school in the school. The complexity of these problems can have an impact that can affect teaching and learning activities in SMP coastal regions of Pariaman City, such as SMP 1 (Kampung Perak, Central Pariaman), SMP 2 (Kampung Baru, Central Pariaman), SMP 4 (Rawang, Central Pariaman), and SMP 7 (Manggung, North Pariaman). then the PKM program team to the SMP scope schools through the Education, Youth, and Sports (PPO) Office in Pariaman City from the Department of Geography FIS-UNP intend to provide information and practical knowledge to students and schools related to disaster risk management that can be done if at any time a disaster occurs so that a disaster preparedness school is realized in Pariaman City The purpose of community service activities PKM is to instill awareness in students, schools and the community about the importance of early vigilance and preparedness to reduce the risk of disasters that cause loss of life and property thing. This PKM program is focused on junior high school students in the coastal region of ​​Pariaman City through socialization activities for disaster preparedness schools (SSB) and training in earthquake disaster management with the potential for a tsunami. The method used in this service activity is to use an andragogy approach. This approach is used to optimize participant participation in each planned activity agenda, and a simulation training approach using several signs in the concept of earthquake disaster mitigation with the potential for a tsunami, such as evacuation routes, evacuation points, and gathering points that have previously been prepared in the form of structured research. . Partners in this PKM program include the head of the PPO Office, and the school (principals, teachers, students, staff, and school guards) and the surrounding community. The expected result of this activity is the dissemination of various information related to earthquake disaster mitigation measures with the potential for a tsunami with various supporting aspects, such as 1) the formation of a disaster preparedness school community at the junior high school level in Pariaman City; 2) availability of data and information in the form of earthquake and tsunami disaster risk management maps in Pariaman City; and 3) scientific publications in the form of accredited national journals.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in Bangko Class II Correctional Institution (Lapas) is that the working environment in Bangko Class II Correctional Institution (Lapas) is still not good so that it can reduce employee performance. The work environment in question is a physical and non-physical work environment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the work environment on employee performance in Bangko Class II Correctional Institutions (Lapas). This study uses a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 55 employees in Bangko Class II Correctional Institutions (Lapas). The sample in this study was determined through a total sampling technique so that the total sample was also the same, consisting of 55 respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement and analyzed using a simple linear regression technique.

Abstract

This article discussed about the public transportation drivers traffic ethics. It was found that the drivers’ attitude was accessed by societies from its good and bad or right and wrong side. These attitudes were the reflection of drivers’ ethics. It was rarely seen that the public transportation drivers in Padang owned the ethics of Indonesian character such as religious, honest, care, responsible, discipline, and tolerant. As the result, there were some traffic phenomenon in Padang like traffic jam, accident, and violation. Therefore, it was crucial to improve the drivers’ ethic which referred to Nation Character in order to create comfortableness in road traffic. The research result in this article tried to find the solution of the previous problem.

The article describes the forms of labels provided by the public in the city of Padang as part of Minangkabau culture, particularly aimed at women who pass social deviation in behavior related to the community. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti dalam melihat pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan sekolah untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan siswa di SMAN 8 Padang. Alasan peneliti melakukan penelitian di SMAN 8 karena merupakan salah satu Kecamatan dengan kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba tingkat tinggi, pelaku dalam penyalahgunaan narkoba di kecamatan ini adalah remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mekanisme pengendalian sosial untuk mencegah narkoba di SMAN 8 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kontrol sosial dikemukakan oleh Travis Harschi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus (case study). Teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan 11 orang informan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan sekolah diantaranya yaitu yang pertama memberikan sosialisasi, yang kedua pengawasan, yang ketiga peran aparat, yang keempat peran orang tua.

Abstract

This research is based on science and technology encourage the creation of new discoveries in the field of technology, one example of technological findings, namely smartphone. Based on the development of these technologies, the researcher is interesting to conduct a social behavior study of online game enthusiasts in the South Solok 1 High School environment. The theory used in this research is the Differential Association Theory. The results of this study revealed thatstudents are fans of online games in the school environment because students are not cared for in their family environment, are in the wrong environment, and have free habits that come from outside the school environment.

Abstract

Dalam Kurikulum 2013 dinyatakan adanya tiga model dalam Pembelajaran IPS Terpadu yang wajib dipedomani guru dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Ketiga model itu ialah Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning), Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project Based Learning), dan Pembelajaran Inguiry/Disvovery. Hasil pengamatan awal yang dilakukan di berbagai Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Kabupaten Pasaman menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran IPS yang digunakan para guru sangat beragam. Akan tetapi hanya sebagian kecil dari mereka yang telah menggunakan ketiga model tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebagian besar mereka cenderung masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional yang berada di luar ketiga model yang diamanatkan Kurikulum 2013. Fenemona ini tentunya menarik untuk ditelusuri lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas tim peneliti mencoba untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru sejarah di Kabupaten Pasaman terhadap salah satu model pembelajaran IPS, yaitu Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek (Project Based Learning) dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Dalam mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan, maka metode yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatoris yang menekankan kepada peran serta seluruh perserta pelatihan untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran yang ditetapkan. Tahap pelatihan ini dimulai dengan penetapan tujuan pelatihan, kemudian diikuti dengan materi pelatihan. Setelah itu diikuti dengan kegiatan workshop yang melibatkan instruktur dan para peserta. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan pemahaman para guru IPS tingkat SMP di Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman terhadap materi IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran projek. Model pembelajaran ini telah mampu dipahami dan diaplikasikan guru secara baik. Para guru IPS telah mampu menerapkan model ini secara maksimal dalam pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran IPS lebih kreatif dan dinamis, tidak lagi bersifat pasif dan membosankan.
