Abstract

Pelatihan digital storytelling bagi guru menjadi kebutuhan mendesak seiring dengan tuntutan pembelajaran kreatif dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan. Namun, banyak guru masih mengalami keterbatasan dalam mengembangkan konten digital yang naratif, terstruktur, dan menarik bagi peserta didik. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital storytelling melalui pelatihan yang mengadaptasi model delapan langkah Morra (2013). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan tatap muka, pendampingan teknis, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi berbasis indikator keterampilan proses yang mencakup aspek ide cerita, riset, penulisan naskah, pembuatan storyboard, pemanfaatan multimedia, dan penyatuan konten. Peserta terdiri dari 29 guru dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan yang mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan pelatihan selama satu bulan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada semua indikator, dengan persentase peserta yang mencapai kategori baik hingga sangat baik sebesar 72,4%–82,8%. Selain itu, uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan linearitas membuktikan bahwa data hasil pelatihan memenuhi asumsi statistik parametrik. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis guru, tetapi juga memperkuat kemampuan pedagogis mereka dalam merancang pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Dengan demikian, pelatihan digital storytelling ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi era pendidikan digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen di SMP. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel 31 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Batanghari. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket berskala Likert dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata 74,67%. Indikator keterlibatan siswa memperoleh 70,10%, pemahaman unsur cerpen 78,06%, kreativitas menulis 76,98%, dan motivasi belajar 73,54%. Wawancara mendukung temuan ini dengan menunjukkan bahwa video animasi membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik, membantu memahami alur cerita, serta meningkatkan motivasi menulis, meskipun beberapa siswa masih kesulitan menuangkan ide. Dengan demikian, media video animasi berkontribusi positif dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Miss Imas YouTube audio-visual media on the writing skills of seventh-grade students (Phase D) at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Sungai Penuh. The background of this research is predicated on students' low writing proficiency, attributed to a lack of variety in instructional methods and the minimal use of technology-based learning media. This study employed a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental method (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The research sample consisted of Class VII B (control group) with 27 students and Class VII D (experimental group) with 27 students, selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through observation, testing, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test) facilitated by Microsoft Excel 365 and IBM SPSS Statistics version 25. The results indicated that the average score of the control group increased from 53.76 in the pre-test to 61.85 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the experimental group’s average score rose significantly from 49.50 in the pre-test to 73.45 in the post-test. Based on the Independent Sample T-test, a significance value of 0.003 (p < 0.05) was obtained, indicating a significant difference in post-test scores between the control and experimental groups. Consequently, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media is significantly effective in enhancing students' writing skills. This research implies that Indonesian language teachers can utilize audio-visual media as an effective, innovative, and engaging instructional tool to improve students' writing abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of interactive learning videos based on the Discovery Learning model on students’ scientific writing skills in Phase F at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. This research employed a quantitative pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of one experimental class selected purposively. Data were collected through pretest and posttest writing assessments evaluated using a structured rubric. Statistical analysis included normality testing and hypothesis testing using t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ scientific writing ability after the implementation of interactive video-based Discovery Learning. The findings indicate that the integration of interactive video media with Discovery Learning stages effectively enhances students’ understanding of scientific writing structure, argument development, and systematic composition. Therefore, interactive learning videos can serve as an innovative instructional strategy to improve scientific writing competence in senior high school students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, kreativitas,  dan literasi digital guru-guru di SMAN 3 Tebo, Kabupaten Tebo dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis aplikasi interaktif. Guru-guru ini merupakan mitra aktif dalam pelatihan. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, adaptif, dan berbasis teknologi seiring dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka dan perkembangan era digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Pelatihan difokuskan pada pemanfaatan aplikasi interaktif seperti Canva, PowerPoint interaktif, dan aplikasi edugame. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran digital. Guru tidak hanya memahami penggunaan aplikasi, tetapi juga mampu menghasilkan produk media yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik dan mata pelajaran masing-masing. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan produktivitas guru dalam menyiapkan materi ajar. Penerapan teknologi melalui pelatihan ini terbukti relevan dan aplikatif bagi guru di wilayah Tebo. Sebelum diadakan pelatihan ini, 42% guru menyatakan mampu menggunakan aplikasi digital seperti Canva dan PPT interaktif. Setelahnya, 88% guru menyatakan mampu menggunakan aplikasi digital tersebut secara mandiri. Selanjutnya, sebelum kegiatan ini, sebanyak 40% guru mengintegrasikan media digital pada pembelajaran. Setelahnya, terdapat peningkatan sebesar 44%. Ke depannya, diharapkan program serupa dapat dilaksanakan kembali agar transformasi digital di lingkungan pendidikan semakin berdampak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan video animasi dalam pembelajaran teks berita, serta persepsi siswa smp terhadap pemanfaatan video animasi dalam pembelajaran teks berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui angket dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemanfaatan video animasi dalam pembelajaran teks berita tergolong sering dilakukan dengan rata-rata skor 3,58. Serta hasil persepsi siswa rata-rata skor pernyataan berada pada kategori sangat baik, dan sebagian besar siswa (83,33%) memiliki persepsi sangat positif terhadap pemanfaatan video animasi dalam pembelajaran teks berita. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi dapat meningkatkan respons positif siswa dalam memahami materi dan terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consistency characteristics of logical fallacy identification by a Large Language Model (LLM) and to identify the types and distribution of logical fallacies in students' undergraduate theses. The research employed a qualitative descriptive design supported by quantitative data. The sample consisted of six theses written by 2021-cohort Indonesian Language and Literature Education students at Universitas Jambi, selected through purposive sampling with a maximum-variation principle across three fields of study (Teaching, Linguistics, and Literature). Each argumentative chapter (Chapters I, II, IV, V) was analyzed using Claude Opus 4.6 across three independent runs with identical prompts, yielding 72 analysis sets. Consistency was measured using TARa (Total Agreement Rate at parsed-answer level) within an intra-rater reliability framework, while the qualitative data were analyzed with the Miles & Huberman (1994) model. The findings show that LLM identification consistency is low overall yet patterned (pooled TARa 31.58%; 24 out of 76 consistent instances): Chapter II attained the highest TARa (70.00%) and Chapter IV the lowest (3.45%). Among the 24 consistent instances, four fallacy types were identified: False Cause (54.17%), Begging the Question (25.00%), Hasty Generalization (16.67%), and Missing the Point (4.17%); no fallacies of Ambiguity were detected. The Teaching field contained the most instances (54.17%), and Chapter II was the most vulnerable structural component (58.33%). These findings extend Harjono’s (2011) work on relevance fallacies and provide an empirical basis for targeted pedagogical interventions to improve students’ logical reasoning, particularly in distinguishing correlation from causation and avoiding circular reasoning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Team Game Tournament (TGT) pada pembelajaran menulis teks berita oleh siswa kelas VII A Mts Raudhatul Muhajirin. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A MTs Raudhatul Muhajirin yang berjumlah 27 orang, sedangkan guru bahasa Indonesia menjadi sumber data pendukung. Data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Terdapat lima langkah penerapan model pembelajaran TGT yaitu 1) menyampaikan informasi, 2) pembentukan tim, 3) permainan, 4) turnamen, dan 5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata nilai kelas VII A yang mencapai kategori baik. Dari total 27 peserta didik, sebagian besar memperoleh kategori sangat baik, yaitu sebanyak 14 orang, dan 10 orang berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan 3 orang berada pada kategori cukup. Tidak terdapat peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai di bawah 65. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta didik telah mampu menulis teks berita sesuai dengan isi dan tema yang ditentukan, melengkapi unsur-unsur berita, menyusun struktur teks secara sistematis, serta menerapkan kaidah kebahasaan dengan tepat. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita peserta didik. In Pagesangan Public Health Center, musculoskeletal disorders are among the ten most common diseases in the elderly, indicating the urgency of this study. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between joint pain intensity, physical activity, and sleep quality with the quality of life of older adults. A quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 110 elderly respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire to measure quality of life, the Physical Activities Scale for the Elderly (PASE) for physical activity, the Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) for sleep quality, and the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for joint pain intensity. All instruments were tested and declared valid and reliable. Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test with SPSS software. The results showed that most respondents experienced moderate joint pain (46.4%), poor physical activity (58.2%), poor sleep quality (36.4%), and poor quality of life (39.1%). Statistical analysis indicated significant relationships between joint pain intensity, physical activity, and sleep quality with the quality of life of older adults (p < 0.05). In conclusion, managing joint pain, improving physical activity, and enhancing sleep quality are important factors in improving the quality of life of the elderly. Abstract

This study aims to explain how the feasibility, practicality, and development of an android-based link book application at SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Barat. This research is a type of R&D (Research & Development) research using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, consisting of analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation) and evaluation (evaluation). Data was collected by means of observation and interviews which were used to conduct needs analysis, while the questionnaire was used to obtain data on the feasibility of the product. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis to analyze quantitative data obtained from expert validation questionnaires and product trial questionnaires. To analyze the qualitative data, the technique of checking the validity of the data is triangulation of sources, triangulation of methods and triangulation of theory. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the display aspect gets an average rating score of 4.5 with a percentage of 90%. The ease of use aspect obtained an average score of 3.67 with a percentage of 73.33%. Then the linguistic aspect obtained an average score of 4 with a percentage of 80%. Furthermore, the implementation aspect obtained an average score of 4.33 with a percentage of 86.67%. Of the four aspects of the assessment, the highest score is in the display aspect with a percentage score of 90%. While the overall aspect of the assessment by media experts, obtained a score of 16.5 with a percentage of 82.50%, which is included in the very decent category. In conclusion, the android-based link book is very feasible and practical to use at SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on students’ ability to write explanatory texts. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pretest–posttest control group experimental design. The subjects were tenth-grade vocational high school students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through explanatory text writing tests administered before and after the treatment. Data analysis used N-Gain and Independent Sample t-Test. The results indicate a significant difference in the improvement of students’ explanatory text writing skills between the experimental and control groups. Therefore, Project Based Learning has a significant effect on improving students’ explanatory text writing skills.
