Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of service quality and location on consumer satisfaction at Warkop Syekar. This type of research is associative research. Data collection in this research was carried out through a survey approach with a quantitative descriptive research type by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, while the population used in this research was warkop on mada consumers. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis tool used in this research uses SPSS (Statistical Product Software Solution). The data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using a partial significant test (t test), simultaneous significant test (F test), and testing the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this research show that partially service quality has a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction. And partially location has a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract The objective of this research was about finding out if there is a significantly different use of the Instagram media for increasing the cadets’ ability to write Recount text in Technical Department compared to the use of English book media on students' ability to write short recount texts. The samples in this study were two classes of cadets of the Technical Department, Politeknik Bumi Akpelni involving 48 cadets. The experimental group was taught using Instagram as a new way of learning through social media in sample groups and groups taught using English books or handouts in non-examples groups. To find out whether there is an important difference between the final examination scores of the sample and non-sample groups, the t-test was calculated, and it was found that the t-value was higher than the t-table (3, 109 > 2.00). According to the results of the research that has been carried out for 1 semester, the researchers conclude that there is an important effect on using the new method, namely the Instagram social media application, compared to the use of English books or handouts that have been used the old way on the cadets' ability to write recount texts. This means that the t-test is greater than the t-table. The alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. In addition, through a new method of following young people's technology, namely social media Instagram as a medium in teaching English, especially recount text, it is very significant to improve cadets' writing skills.

Abstract

Introduction: Resilience is the key to overcoming the significant challenges of pandemics or large-scale disasters. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was performed in the study report. The BIMA program implementation lasted from June to November 2022 at Griya Lare Utami, Bantul. DIY, through integrated community services (BIMA): Training (B: Building/Binaan): training for cadres to screen potential health problems, Innovative Activities (I: Inovatif): valid information literacy (anti-hoax) for families and Canva training for youth organizations, Independent of Menu (M: Mandiri menu): Independently develops menus, practical locally available for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), and Active (A: Aktif); counseling actions, competitions to make fish products, and poster designs, and evaluation of activities for community society. Results: The BIMA program involved 172 people from health cadres (n=12), Youth Organizations (n=24), Innovative Families (n=12), and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) (n=11), with community members (n=113). The results showed significant differences after the program in cadre roles (p=0.01), Canva training (p=0.01), innovation family training (p=0.04), and knowledge of balanced nutrition (p=0.002). Meanwhile, there was no significant difference in the respondents' understanding regarding the development of local food products after participating in the activity (p=0.082). These results indicate that the BIMA program succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of the respondents. Conclusion: The BIMA Program has effectively enhanced the roles of health workers, health literacy, and nutrition management. However, it requires further advancement in the development of local products. It is recommended that the initiative persists with activities aimed at extensive community empowerment, incorporating collaboration with pertinent sectors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji secara empiris dampak dari faktor-faktor antesenden pada penggunaan regulasi sistem anggaran dan kinerja manajerial oleh pemerintah setempat. Menurut motivasi kerja dan teori harapan, kerangka teoretis yang dirancang untuk memungkinkan penilaian t faktor antesenden pada penggunaan regulasi sistem anggaran dan kinerja manajerial. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada data yang dikumpulkan dari para manajer dan karyawan yang terlibat dalam pembentukan anggaran di setiap subunit dalam pemerintahan lokal, yaitu Batang. Hasil mendukung hipotesis dan menunjukkan konsekuensi dari kekuatan faktor antesenden pada penggunaan regulasi sistem anggaran dan kinerja manajerial oleh pemerintah setempat.

Abstract

Siswa Indonesia yang tinggal di luar negeri dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan adaptasi sosial dan budaya yang berpotensi memengaruhi kesejahteraan emosional dan identitas diri mereka. Perbedaan lingkungan sosial, sistem pendidikan, serta nilai-nilai budaya di negara tempat tinggal dapat menimbulkan tekanan psikologis yang memerlukan kemampuan daya lenting atau resiliensi untuk mengatasinya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat resiliensi siswa Sekolah Indonesia Bangkok melalui pendekatan workshop berbasis permainan edukatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 64 siswa dan 9 guru sekolah dasar Indonesia di Bangkok melalui sesi interaktif yang terdiri atas diskusi, aktivitas kelompok, dan refleksi diri. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi bukanlah sifat bawaan semata, melainkan keterampilan yang dapat dikembangkan melalui pengalaman langsung dan pembiasaan. Dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan, siswa lebih mudah memahami makna daya lenting dan mampu mempraktikkannya dalam situasi sederhana, seperti permainan menyusun menara kartu. Hal ini menegaskan pentingnya program pelatihan resiliensi sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan keterampilan sosial-emosional anak Indonesia di luar negeri.

Abstract

Introductions: Indonesia takes first place among ASEAN countries with the highest rates of smokers in the world (50.68%). The number of smokers in NTB Province is increasing every year which is dominated by boys aged 15-18 years (58.4%). Smoking habits in adolescents is caused of lack of knowledge, advertising effect, and friends habit. Smoking behavior is close related to persons knowledge and attitude towards cigarettes. This research aims to determine the effect of health education toward knowledge and attitude of adolescent about smoking risk in SMK Islam Sirajul Huda Paok Dandak Janapria Central Lombok. Methods: The design of this research is pre-experimental using one-group pretest-posttest without a control group design. The sampling technique istotal sampling with number of respondents around 38 (male) students. The instrument of data collection is questionnaire.Result: The result of statistical test analysis using Wilcoxon obtained that P value=0.000 (<0.05), it is indicate that there is the effect of health education toward knowledge and attitude of adolescent about the risk of smoking in SMK Islam Sirajul Huda Paok Dandak Central Lombok. Conclusion: So it can be concluded that adolescent knowledge increases about the dangers of smoking after being given health education.  Keywords: Dangers of smokin; health education; youth

Abstract

This work aimed to develop asertif based on android. Research setting are at Junior High School 3 Godean.  Media developed by combine any multimedia object, including text, images, audio, video, and interactive buttons. Content of media such as video to gain understanding about asertif behavior, 15 questions, and social media researcher information. Research method using research and development and alessi and trolip procedures.  Research procedure including (1) research plan, (2) design, including flowcart and story board development, (3) development, including media production using code program, alpha, revise, and beta tested. Percentage tested found that content tested 75% (worthy), media tested 81,5% (very worthy).  Student tested result 83,6% (very worthy).

Abstract

Metaphorical architecture translates cultural and natural phenomena into readable spatial narratives. This article develops a framework of five variables—source metaphor, key attributes, domain transfer, spatial narrative, and symbolic legibility—synthesized from comparative precedent studies (Libeskind’s Jewish Museum Berlin and the Aceh Tsunami Museum) and applies it to the design of the Painan Maritime Museum in West Sumatra. Local sources such as the traditional pincalang boat, Indian Ocean waves, and communal fishing activities are transformed into a ship-oriented elongated mass, undulating façade, net-patterned secondary skin, and sequential linear circulation forming a symbolic “voyage”: embarkation, tension, climax, reflection, and epilogue. The analysis reveals a balance between iconic legibility and conceptual depth, enabling visitors to intuitively perceive local maritime identity. This study contributes to the development of a transferable design methodology for metaphor-based museums and provides contextual site recommendations for the coastal landscape of Carocok Beach, Painan.

Abstract

Landmarks play a vital role in shaping the city’s image as orientation markers and visual identity elements. Pekanbaru, the capital of Riau Province, has experienced rapid development that produced many iconic buildings, yet systematic studies based on public perception remain limited. This research aims to identify the main landmarks of Pekanbaru City and analyze the visual characteristics influencing their legibility. A mixed-method approach was applied through field observation, visual documentation, and a questionnaire survey involving 150 purposively selected respondents. Descriptive and statistical analyses using SmartPLS were conducted to examine relationships among visual perception variables (singularity, location, uniqueness, memorable) and landmark recognition. The findings reveal that An-Nur Grand Mosque, Soeman HS Library, and the Riau Governor’s Office are the most recognized landmarks. Location and memorable factors have significant positive effects, while uniqueness shows a negative influence. The study emphasizes that enhancing landmark design and spatial arrangement strengthens urban navigation and visual identity in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan buku pada layanan sirkulasi UPTPerpustakaan Undip. Pada kajian ini akan dilihat rata rata sirkulasi perkapita, rata ratapeminjaman dan pengembalian serta keterlambatan yang di rata rata perbulan maupun perhari yang terjadi pada tahun 2016. Dari data statistik dapat diketahui bahwa untukpeminjaman masih harus ditingkatkan karena jumlahnya masih kecil, sedangkan untukketerlambatan jumlahnya perlu diminimalisir karena jumlahnya cukup tinggi yaitu 0,36 %dari total pengembalian. Sehingga hal tersebut perlu dicarikan solusi agar peredaran bukudapat berjalan baik. Saran dari kajian ini adalah perlu dilakukan kajian ulang terkait dengankebutuhan pemustaka atau melakukan survai kebutuhan informasi pemustaka.
