Abstract

One of the missions and objectives of establishing an ideal government bureaucracy it to provide good public services to the community, particularly optimal service quality for persons with disabilities. To assess the extent to which the measures/benchmarks of service quality success can be examined from the criteria of the dimensions of public service quality. This study aims to determine the extent to which the quality of public service provided is able to meet the needs of persons with disabilities at the Makassar City Government. This type of research uses a qualitative approach tiwh a case study strategy and both primary and secondary data sources. Data collection is based on observations from the study, and data analysis uses an interactive method that includes data presentation, data condensation, and drawing conclusions. Research results indicate that the quality of public services for people with disabilities at the Makassar City Government specifically sosial service is overall not yet optimal in meeting the needs of people with disabilities and still needs improvement. Based on the service quality dimension indicators, namely: Tangible (physical evidence); Reliability; and Responsiviness, they still need to be enhanced because they are not yet optimal due to limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of employee awareness, and insufficient attention to fulfilling the needs of people with disabilities. Meanwhile, Assurance and Empathy are already categorized as good and adequate thanks to the guidance and quick response from rehabilitation officers. However, comprehensive and continuous improvement is still necessary

Abstract

This study aims to describe the physical and motor development abilities of children in the control and experimental groups before and after treatment in the study on the influence of sports games. This study uses a quasi-experimental method. The research design is a Nonequivalent Control Group Design with two groups: the experimental group receiving treatment and the control group not receiving treatment. The data collection technique uses observation, testing, and documentation. The data analysis used a t-test. The results showed that the physical and motor development abilities of the group B children in the control group before treatment were generally moderate to high. In the experimental group B, the initial ability before treatment was similar to that of the control group, with basic gross motor potential (82%+) but limited agility. After being given the sports game treatment, there was a marked improvement to a high level (87%+), especially in muscle strength, balance, and hand-eye coordination, proving the effectiveness of the intervention., there was a significant difference in the physical and motor development of the children of group B between the experimental group that participated in the sports game and the control group that did not, where the experimental group showed superior progress on all motor indicators—confirming the positive influence of sports games on early childhood development. Early childhood teachers are advised to integrate simple sports games such as jumping rope, throwing balls, or obstacle courses at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes for gross and fine motor optimization. Schools need to provide safe facilities such as mini courts and playgrounds with early age standards, as well as train teachers through workshops for fun game variations.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of AI in critical sectors such as healthcare, finance, transportation, and public services raises significant challenges related to transparency, accountability, and trust in automated decision-making processes, particularly since many AI models still operate as black boxes that are difficult to interpret and audit. This study investigates the potential of integrating blockchain technology to enable trustworthy and transparent AI decision-making and is conducted under the framework to systematically design, implement, and evaluate the proposed solution. The proposed framework records AI inference results and relevant metadata onto the blockchain through smart contracts to ensure data immutability and traceability. A prototype system is developed and evaluated using a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative analysis of transparency and auditability with quantitative measurements of system performance such as latency and overhead. The results demonstrate that blockchain integration significantly enhances auditability, data integrity, and user trust compared to conventional AI systems. However, several limitations are identified, including scalability issues, transaction costs, and increased latency caused by on-chain recording processes. Despite these challenges, the proposed approach shows strong potential to improve the accountability of AI systems in high-risk environments and contributes a practical framework along with empirical insights for organizations seeking to adopt transparent and reliable AI, while also opening opportunities for further development through architectural optimization and the adoption of layer-2 blockchain technologies.

Abstract

The effectiveness of health interventions is determined by multiple factors, such as leadership, participation, and environmental support. This study analyzes the determinants and most influential factors contributing to the success of health interventions. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional analytical design was employed, involving 194 respondents selected through proportional random sampling in Lepo-Lepo (Southeast Sulawesi Province). Data analysis utilized the chi-square test and logistic regression. The findings indicate that leadership capacity (p=0.021; OR=2.130), participation (p=0.000; OR=3.640), communication skills (p=0.000; OR=8.016), support in decision making (p=0.000; OR=4.800), access to health facilities (p=0.000; OR=4.759), local culture and norms (p=0.012; OR=2.231), transformational leadership style (p=0.000; OR=15.171), and servant leadership style (p=0.011; OR=2.231) significantly affect the success of health interventions. In contrast, community credibility and trust (p=0.869) and regional policies (p=0.843) do not demonstrate a significant effect. The most dominant factor was transformational leadership style, with an OR of 12.409, meaning leaders with a transformational style were more than 12 times more likely to achieve intervention success than leaders who did not. These results confirm that leadership quality and participatory support, particularly transformational leadership style and effective communication skills, are critical to the success of health interventions. One of the implications of the results of this study for public health is that they emphasize that effective interventions require leaders capable of inspiring and facilitating transformational change, not just managing technical matters, and communication is a core skill that must be developed at every level of health management, particularly given its role in strengthening community compliance and trust. Keywords: Health Interventions, Leadership, Participation, Communication, Transformational Leadership.

Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine phenotypic variability of mung bean M2 and M3 Mutant populations resulted from gamma ray irradiation. The Field experiment was conducted by using a completely randomized design in which three populations including M2, M3 and the parent (M0) were planted in 2017. Each population was planted in a plot of 3 m x 2 m with planting space of 30 cm x 20 cm to obtain 100 individual plant per plot. Every population was repeated 5 times so to get 500 plants per population. Observations were collected on all individuals in the population including plant height, number of stem internodes, length of internode, number of primary branches, age of flowering plants, date of harvest, length of pods, number of filled pods, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant, weight of seeds per plants, and weights of 100 seeds. The results showed that gamma ray irradiation produced mung bean plants with a similar date of harvest. It could be seen from mean values which were not significantly different, the values of diversity, and range were almost equal which indicates the diversity of M2, M3 and M0 populations was relatively similar to the control. M2 and M3 generation of mung bean have large and high quality seeds weighing more than 6.5 g/100 seeds. The homogeneity of variance (HOV) analysis showed that variance of all population of all parameters observed were not homogeny except for plant height, number of stem internode and weight of 100 seeds.
