Abstract

One of the important components of Arabic Language learning is speaking skills. To determine the success of teaching speaking skills, a teacher needs to evaluate the form of a test. This research aims to determine the types of tests for speaking skills and the standard assessment criteria. The method of this research is library research with a descriptive analysis approach. The primary data source in this research is the book Linguistic Tests, and the secondary data source is books related to learning speaking skills in Arabic. The data collection technique in this research is through books, documentation, articles, and journals related to research. The data analysis technique uses content analysis. The results of this research show that the types of tests in speaking skills are pronunciation tests, oral sentence structure tests, tests on the use of visual stimuli, and expression delivery tests. The standard criteria for assessment of speaking skills include standards for introduction, spoken language, and standards for structure. Linguistics, standards for body language, standards for ideas, standards for conversational etiquette, standards for using means of persuasion, standards for using various means of presentation, Standards for interpretation skills during presentations, and standards for delivery.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the benefits of reading and to determine the level of suitability of the questions regarding reading ability in the book Ikhtibarat Allughowiyah based on Bloom's theory. The research method used is the library research methodology with literacy data sources related to analyzing the language test in reading skills in light of Bloom's classification. Data is collected from written data sources such as books, periodicals, and scientific research. Data Analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that the benefits of reading are education, gaining life experiences, knowing a range of events, following the development of science and technology, and enhancing and enriching cultural knowledge. The test items were concentrated in the lower levels (remembering, understanding, and application) at a rate of (72.73%). In comparison, the test items at the higher levels (analysis, synthesis, and evaluation) were represented by a small percentage that did not exceed (27.27%) only.

Abstract

Arabic language teaching in Indonesia has different levels of difficulty. Learning Arabic starts from simple vocabulary and is one of the areas of Arabic language teaching. Vocabulary is an important part of students' linguistic competence. Tests are an important part of the teacher's job. Tests have many purposes that cannot be ignored by students, teachers, parents, schools or universities. An example in the field of learning is to measure competence.The objectives of this study are: first, to know the vocabulary test module in Arabic learning, second to know the purpose of vocabulary test in Arabic learning, and third to know how to evaluate vocabulary test in Arabic learning. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive research with the classification of the test according to the mufradat lesson. This study found 11 examples in the test as in the language test book. And the ways to evaluate these tests in this way can be found ways of evaluation in making questions on mufradat lessons in Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and explain the evaluation of Arabic language listening skills tests based on Bloom's Taxonomy, primarily focusing on utilizing the 'al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik' books in the first two volumes. This study utilizes a qualitative approach, specifically a descriptive analytical method, when the data is derived from literary sources. The primary focus of the data is 'Al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik Volumes 1 and 2, the books that serve as the focal point of analysis to understand content related to listening skills in Arabic. The data was obtained through an in-depth study of the content of 'Al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik books. The data collection method involves a comprehensive analysis of the text to identify question structures and difficulty levels according to Bloom's taxonomy. The analysis results indicate that listening skills tests based on Bloom's taxonomy, 'al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik' Volumes 1 and 2, suit beginner learners. In Volume 1, the remembering level (C1) has five types of test questions (33%), while the understanding level (C2) has 11 types (67%). In Volume 2, Remembering (C1) has one question (10%), Understanding (C2) has five questions (50%), Analysis (C4) has two questions (20%), and Evaluation (C6) has two questions (20%). This research contributes significantly to developing Arabic language listening skills tests and offers valuable guidance for educators in selecting appropriate teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan reward dan punishment merupakan salah satu strategi pembinaan dan penanaman karakter disiplin berbahasa Arab siswa dengan tujuan agar memudahkan wali kelas, para pengajar dan penanggungjawab bagian bahasa dalam mendisiplinkan siswanya, terlepas dari itu juga agar siswa senantiasa terbiasa dan konsisten dengan hidup berdisiplin khususnya disiplin berbahasa Arab serta memotivasi siswa agar terus keterampilan bahasa yang dimilikinya dan meraih prestas. Selain itu, ajuga untuk memberikan efek jera bagi yang melanggar tata tertib dan peraturan yang telah disepakati. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Seluruh siswa kelas V DIA A TMI Putri dengan jumlah 27 siswa dijadikan sebagai populasi penelitian dan yang akan dijadikan sebagai sample penelitian dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa atau 100% dari jumlah populasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini penerapan reward dan punishment sebagai strategi dalam membina dan menanamkan karakter disiplin berbahasa Arab siswa dapat memudahkan para guru dalam membina karakter disiplin berbahasa Arab siswa dan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk terus mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa, dan untuk meraih prestasi serta menjadikan siswa lebih baik dari pada sebelumnya. Tak hanya itu siswa juga menerapkan sifat jujur dan kesadaran diri serta mengakui kesalahan dan pelanggaran yang telah ia lakukan. Dengan demikian maka penerapan reward dan punishment sebagai strategi dalam membina dan menanamkan karakter disiplin berbahasa Arab siswa terbilang cukup memuaskan serta memudahkan para guru dalam mendidik dan membentuk karakter disiplin siswa khususnya disiplin berbahasa Arab. Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran bahasa arab sebagai solusi untuk peningkatan keterampilan berbicara santriwati memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan santriwati dalam berbahsa arab. Sehingga santriwati dapat memiliki pengetahuan dalam berbahasa yang dapat digunakan sesuai kaidah bahasa arab. Gontor telah memberikan berbagai macam pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran bahasa arab agar membentuk santriwati nya dapat teladan berbahasa dan memiliki peningkatan keterampilan dalam berbahasa. Penelitian ini ditulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang memberi penjelasan tentang pembelajara bahasa arab untuk meningkatkan keterampilan santriwati di pondok modern Darussalam gontor putri 2. Berdasarkan hasil sebuah analisis penelitian ini, penerapan pembelajaran bahasa arab menjadi salah satu pondasi yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang berbahsa sesuai dengan pembelajaran kaidah bahasa arab yang benar. Pendidikan bahasa arab yang menjadi proses santriwati dalam menerima ilmu itu berasal dari penerapan pembelajarannya dan fasilitator yang selalu memberikan motivasi dan pembelajaran kepada santriwati pondok modern Darussalam gontor putri 2. Hal tersebut membentuk kepribadian santriwati untuk terus berkembang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa di berbagai aspek ilmu pengetahuan yang seluruhnya berkaitan dengan bahasa arab. Abstract

في ظل التطور الهائل للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، تعد مهارات القراءة والكتابة ضرورية للغاية. القراءة هي مهارة القراءة والكتابة الأساسية التي يجب إتقانها وممارستها منذ سن مبكرة، وخاصة لطلاب المدارس الابتدائية في نفس المستوى. يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على أنواع أسئلة الامتحان في مادة القراءة بالمدرسة الإبتضائية. وفي هذه الحالة هناك تعريفات كثيرة لكلمة «الاختبار»، خاصة في علم القراءة، حيث يعتبر «الاختبار» وسيلة لقياس التحصيل الأكاديمي للطالب باستخدام عدة أنواع مختلفة من الأسئلة الشفهية أو المكتوبة. لذا، لقياس مستوى قدرة الطلاب في المدرسة الإبتداعية، يتم طرح عدة أسئلة اختبارية يجيب عليها الطلاب بشكل صحيح، وذلك لتحديد قدرات الطلاب، والغرض من قراءة الاختيار هو تحديد قدرة الطلاب على القراءة بشكل جيد وصحيح. وسيكون شكل الأسئلة مختلفا، عندما يُطلب من الطلاب فهم النص وفهم ما يرونه ومقارنته بما يسمعونه. ثم، في هذه الحالة، عادة ما يطلب المعلم من الطلاب قراءة القراءة التي كتبوها دون الحاجة إلى إصدار صوت، ثم يستجيب الطلاب. ويكون النص على شكل فقرة أو عدة فقرات بزمن محدد مسبقاً يتم تعديله بما يتناسب مع قدرات الطالب في المدرسة الإبتضائية.

Abstract

MI Nurussalam Mantingan adalah sebuah sekolah dasar swasta yang memiliki system unik, salah satunya adalah pengelolaannya dibawah naungan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor yang menjadikan mayoritas system pengelolaan diadopsi dari pondok Gontor dan Bahasa Arab menjadi salah satu tujuan pembelajaran utama. Buku ajar Bahasa Arab yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran telah menargetkan pembiasaan ketrampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, namun realita pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilapangan belum dalam mengkoordinir pelatihan ketrampilan tersebut secara maksimal dikarenakan kurangnya kompetensi guru. Intervensi tim kepada mitra diawali dengan forum group discussion tentang kendala dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab, kemudian ditindak lanjuti dengan sosialisasi tentang konsep dasar High Order Thinking Skill dan metode internalisasi konsep tersebut dalam langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam kelas secara umum, kemudian diarahkan secara khusus dalam program pendampingan untuk menyusun instrument evaluasi materi Bahasa Arab berbasis High Order Thinking Skill . Hasil dari program pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang konsep High Order Thinking Skill dan internalisasi konsep tersebut dalam langkah-langkah pembelajaran, ditindak lanjuti dengan penyusunan instrument evaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab berbasis HOTS. kata kunci : Butir soal, Evaluasi, High Order Thinking Skill

Abstract

This study addresses the teaching of Islamic History at Gontor Two for Girls, where traditional lecture methods have led to declining student engagement and performance. Specifically, the average initial score of class 3F students in the academic year 1443-1444 was 2.57, or 65%, indicating a need for improvement in learning outcomes. To address this issue, the study explores the effectiveness of the VAK (Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetics) Learning Strategy in enhancing student engagement and achievement. The research, conducted as Classroom Action Research following Kemmis & McTaggart’s model, involved planning, action, observation, and reflection over two cycles. The findings revealed that student activeness improved from 53% in the first cycle to 80% in the second cycle. Moreover, student learning outcomes saw significant improvement, with 37.14% of students meeting the average standard in the first cycle, increasing to 88.57% by the second cycle. Based on these results, the study recommends that students actively engage in lessons and that teachers adopt the VAK strategy, particularly for Islamic History subjects, to enhance both engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Assessment and evaluation are needed to determine how student competence is compatible with predetermined educational goals. This study aims to analyze the Midterm Exam for odd-semester Arabic subjects at Islamic Junior High. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. This study uses the documentation method for data collection. In addition, researchers will use the help of a computer program, namely Anathes 4.0.2. The results showed that: (1) The validity test of 15 multiple choice test questions was declared valid (80%). As well as for the validity test of 5 matching test questions they were declared valid (80%). (2) The reliability test of multiple choice test items is 0.87. In contrast, the results of the reliability of matchmaking test items were 0.76. (3) The difficulty level test of the multiple test questions categorized as hard is 0 items (0%), medium is three items (20%), and easy is 12 items (80%). The difficulty level test of the matching test questions categorized as hard is 0 items (0%), medium is four items (80%), and easy is 1 item (20%). (4) The difficulty level test of the Multiple test questions categorized as bad is 1 item (6,66%), enough is two items (13,3%), good is nine items (60%), and Very Good is three items (20%). The difficulty level test of the matching test questions categorized as bad is 0 items (0%), enough is 1 item (20%), good is 0 items (0%), and Very Good is four items (80%). With these results, the test takers or teachers must increase their attention to the analysis of the items, namely in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminatory power.
