Abstract

Toko Bagus is one of the bicycle shops in Sidoarjo Regency that provides service, sales of bicycles and sales of bicycle spare parts. Currently, Toko Bagus already has a Sales Information System, but it still has some drawbacks, namely not having a frontend website. Whereas on the backend website there is no feature for ordering goods from suppliers. There is no supplier goods receipt report feature and actor access rights in the system. Therefore, a website-based Sales Information System was built which was the development of the previous Information System.The process of developing this Information System uses the waterfall model SDLC. The stages are literature study, data collection, requirements engineering, system design, implementation, testing, and drawing conclusions and suggestions. In the needs engineering stage, the Bagus Sidoarjo Store Sales Information System has 28 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. architectural design, component design, data design, and interface design. At the testing stage using white-box testing and black-box testing methods. In white-box testing using the basis path testing method which is carried out on the 3 main functions of the system, then in black-box testing using user acceptance testing (UAT) it produces a value of 89% for the admin actor and a value of 90% for the owner actor.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the movement of people in their daily activities, so it is necessary to make some adaptations, especially in the work system. Besides that, the Covid-19 pandemic also has accelerated digital transformations, especially in the industrial and corporate sectors. Many companies are currently implementing a remote work system or commonly known as Work From Anywhere (WFA). The existence of this remote work system can also increase employee work productivity. There are various factors that affect employee work productivity, especially in the application of the WFA work system. This study aims to determine the role of educational level and the use of communication platforms in supporting employee productivity during the WFA period. This study uses mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) or commonly known as the mix method with an exploratory sequential design approach. Data collection was carried out to WFA employees through semi-structured interviews with 10 informants and a survey by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents. Further analysis was carried out using thematic analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, one-way ANOVA test, and multiple linear regression methods. The results of this study is that the level of education does not directly affect the productivity of WFA employees. However, the knowledge gained at the educational level can support employee work productivity during the WFA period. Meanwhile, the communication platform has proved to be an important role in supporting employee productivity in the WFA work system.

Abstract

In today's era of rapidly developing information technology, the need for information is increasingly needed to support processes in achieving a certain goal. Many parties have begun to compete in developing their information technology, one of which is by developing information systems. Information system development is carried out to replace old systems that are obsolete or improve existing systems. SMP Negeri 3 Sidikalang is one of the schools that has not utilized information technology optimally. Many processes are still done manually, such as processing teacher data, student data and assessment reports obtained by each student so that it requires a lot of resources, both in terms of time, cost, energy and place. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based academic information system at SMP Negeri 3 Sidikalang to facilitate the school in managing data and accelerate the dissemination of information. The method used in building the system is the waterfall method, which consists of the stages of gathering needs, design, development, trial use, and maintenance. While in testing the system used SUS (System Usability Scale) method to test the level of user satisfaction. System implementation is carried out using the PHP program language with the CodeIgniter framework, database design using MySQL. Testing of academic information systems that have been built is declared feasible to use. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the academic information system is feasible to use in the school environment of SMP Negeri 3 Sidikalang.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 10 Malang merupakan sekolah kejuruan dengan 6 jurusan yang berbeda. Dalam pelaksanaan inventarisasi harian pada SMK Negeri 10 Malang masih menggunakan buku catatan dan bantuan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Selain itu standar operasional yang telah ditetapkan sering kali tidak dijalankan dalam berbagai aktifitas. Keadaan tersebut berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya validasi data barang inventaris. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut ialah melakukan analisis dan perancangan sistem informasi. Berdasarkan analisis dan perancangan dapat dibangun sistem informasi manajemen inventaris dan dilakukan pengujian apakah sistem informasi yang dibangun dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang ada pada SMK Negeri 10 Malang. Proses pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengikuti alur model Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall. Alur model waterfall terdiri analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan dengan wawancara menghasilkan 23 kebutuhan fungsional yang dimodelkan dengan Use Case Diagram dan Scenario. Perancangan dilakukan dengan membuat model Sequence Diagram, Entity Relational Diagram, pseudocode, dan wireframe. Implementasi kode program dilakukan dengan framework Express JS dan bahasa pemrograman Javascript. Tahapan pengujian dilakukan dengan 3 metode yaitu Basis-path Testing, Scenario-based Testing, dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil dari pengujian Basis-path Testing dan Scenario-based Testing adalah keseluruhannya valid. Pada pengujian SUS dilakukan pengambilan data pada 20 guru dari SMK Negeri 10 Malang dapat didapatkan nilai SUS sebesar 75,25 yang mengartikan sistem dapat diterima oleh pihak sekolah.

Abstract

Yayasan Darul Itqon bergerak dalam bidang Pendidikan SMP dan SMK. Dengan keterbatasan tenaga pendidik, proses untuk mengisikan dokumen penilaian masih menggunakan sistem pengisian nilai secara manual, sehingga menyulitkan tenaga pendidik dalam proses perhitungan nilai pemahaman, perekapan nilai dan pembuatan laporan penilaian peserta didik. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, sistem informasi diperlukan. Ini akan membuat proses penilaian kinerja guru lebih cepat dan lebih akurat, dan membuat laporan penilaian siswa akan menjadi lebih mudah. Dalam proses pengembangan sistem informasi menggunakan pendekatan Framework Application of Systems Thinking (FAST) yang dapat menyelesaikan pembuatan sistem dengan fleksibel. Dalam metode FAST, proses penggalian kebutuhan menggunakan model analisis Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Service (PIECES). Proses ini menggabungkan beberapa masalah dari sistem lama ke dalam kelompok aspek untuk menghasilkan solusi untuk sistem baru. Penggunaan framework PIECES menghasilkan proses bisnis baru yang dapat mempermudah tenaga pendidik terutama untuk guru dalam melakukan penilaian. Implementasi sistem ini memiliki fitur utama kelola nilai siswa, import nilai siswa, cetak nilai siswa dan mengelola pengguna. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan hasil valid, sehingga sistem dapat membantu tenaga pendidik dalam mengelola nilai peserta didik dengan baik.

Abstract

HSS Learning is a learning media innovation in the form of a gamification-based e-learning platform to support the learning process in programming. HSS Learning has been applied to web design and programming courses, primarily on HTML and CSS topics. This study uses a quantitative model using a descriptive approach to measure the satisfaction level of HSS Learning users—measurement of user satisfaction using End-user Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). The variables used in this research are content, format, ease of use, timeliness, and accuracy. Data collection used a questionnaire consisting of 12 questions, with the number of participant data being 264 participants. The results show that the overall level of user satisfaction reaches 4.30 at level 5 (very strong). The results of this study can be used as a material evaluation for the application of instructional media in the programming field.

Abstract

The essay is an exam requiring a more profound understanding of answering and evaluating the answers. However, if the number of questions and participants increases, this will result in a decrease in the quality of the lecturer's assessment. This prompted the development of a software based on the Moodle plugin named Essay Similarity to assess essay answers based on the similarity between the two documents, namely the answers given and the answer key provided. Moodle was chosen because, after the Covid-19 pandemic, many sectors have shifted to working remotely, including the education sector. This resulted in an LMS like Moodle experiencing an increase in users. As of 2020 yesterday, Moodle users have exceeded 190 million users on more than 145,000 websites. In developing this plugin, the method used is the waterfall method using the PHP programming language. The algorithm used to find similarities between the two documents is cosine similarity. Testing the level of similarity between manual and automatic grading was carried out on four models of essay questions. Based on the test results, the average similarity between automatic grading compared to manual grading is 45.44%.

Abstract

The accounting information system is an important key to financial management, the information influences the company’s decisionmaking in determining its future strategy. However, before the development of web technology, current systems were usually implemented on desktop platforms. Over time, many obstacles were found during its implementation, which had an impact on time efficiency on staff performance. Therefore, in this study, a preliminary review assessment is made to find out whether the current desktop information system is still good for use or a web-based system is able to provide more performance, especially in terms of time efficiency. According to the results of this study, web information systems have better performance than desktops. With the transformation of the platform in the system, there was an increase in the use of time in carrying out input process activities of 35%.

Abstract

Many companies have begun to adopt both ways of working simultaneously or commonly referred to as Work From Anywhere (WFA); it is necessary to model business processes used to evaluate and improve the WFA work system in the future. In modelling business processes, it is necessary to carry out a needs analysis, one of which is to find out what factors affect employee productivity when doing their work. Several research journals related to WFA work productivity factors are still scattered in various journal databases, so it is necessary to unify them from various journals. Therefore, it is necessary to research the grouping of factors and theories that affect the productivity of WFA employees in the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Before grouping, the search criteria and journal search process are determined first. The first search is to identify based on keywords, year of publication, and journal quality. Then continued, the use of Cohen's Kappa method for selection based on the field of discussion and language, abstracts, and contents. In improving the reliability of the library screening results, each selection is made twice (or more) and calculates the value of Cohen's Kappa. The SLR method makes the usually subjective literature study more objective to reduce the researcher's bias. The results obtained were a total of 17 screening journals with a total of 11 factors, namely environment, time efficiency, psychology, health, cost efficiency, employee personality, adequate technology, gender, geographical flexibility, salary, and communication.
