Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the effectiveness of vocational training programs in enhancing employment outcomes. Research Design and Methodology: Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the study synthesizes insights from prior research to delineate the impact of vocational training on participants' employment prospects. Findings and Discussion: The literature review reveals a positive association between vocational training participation and favorable employment outcomes. High-quality programs aligned with industry needs yield more favorable outcomes. Socio-demographic factors such as age, gender, and educational attainment also influence employment prospects post-training. Additionally, vocational training contributes to socio-economic mobility and regional development. Implications: Evidence-based policy interventions and collaborations between stakeholders are essential for enhancing the effectiveness and inclusivity of vocational training programs. Addressing socio-economic disparities and ensuring program relevance is imperative for maximizing societal benefits. Longitudinal studies and comparative analyses are recommended for future research to understand further vocational training programs' long-term impacts and relative effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between organizational sustainability and human resource wellbeing, emphasizing the strategic imperatives for fostering sustainable growth and success in contemporary organizations. Adopting a comprehensive literature review approach, the study examines the theoretical foundations, managerial implications, and practical strategies associated with nurturing both organizational and human resource wellbeing. The methodology involves synthesizing findings from diverse perspectives, including organizational sustainability, human resource management, and leadership studies. Results indicate that organizational sustainability serves as a cornerstone for long-term viability, encompassing financial stability, operational efficiency, stakeholder relationships, and environmental responsibility. Additionally, human resource wellbeing emerges as a critical determinant of organizational performance, innovation, and employee engagement, influenced by factors such as leadership style, organizational culture, and employee wellbeing initiatives. Abstract

The study explores the integration of Islamic principles into Human Resource Management (HRM) practices, aiming to understand its implications for organizational effectiveness and employee well-being. Employing a qualitative research methodology, the study utilizes semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and observations to gather data from HR practitioners, managers, and employees involved in implementing Islamic HRM practices. Thematic analysis is employed to identify key themes, patterns, and challenges related to the integration process. The findings highlight the significance of HR practitioners' awareness of Islamic principles in shaping HRM practices and the challenges posed by cultural barriers and resistance to change. Despite these challenges, integrating Islamic principles into HRM practices offers benefits such as enhanced organizational performance, employee motivation, and well-being. Strategies to address the lack of awareness among HR practitioners and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives are proposed to facilitate the integration process. The study underscores the importance of aligning HRM practices with Islamic values to create ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive work environments.

Abstract

The aim of this qualitative literature review is to investigate the integration of physical, mental, and emotional well-being into HR practices. The research design involves a systematic approach to selecting, analyzing, and synthesizing literature on the topic. Comprehensive searches of academic databases, journals, books, and other scholarly sources were conducted to identify key themes, concepts, and theories relevant to the research question. Data collection involved gathering and critically appraising various sources, including empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and qualitative analyses. Qualitative data analysis techniques such as thematic analysis and content analysis were employed to identify recurring themes, patterns, and trends across the literature. The findings reveal several key insights into the benefits, challenges, and strategies associated with integrating well-being into HR practices. Prioritizing employee well-being offers benefits such as reduced absenteeism, enhanced productivity, and improved job satisfaction. However, challenges such as lack of organizational commitment, cultural stigma, and resistance to change hinder effective implementation. Overall, the study underscores the importance of adopting a holistic approach to well-being management and fostering collaboration both within and outside the organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the holistic approaches to employee growth and performance improvement within organizational contexts. It explores the interconnectedness of individual, team, and organizational factors in fostering comprehensive employee development. The research design and methodology involve a qualitative literature review, systematically examining existing scholarly works to gain insights into effective strategies for enhancing employee effectiveness and capability. Findings and discussion highlight the significance of integrating diverse dimensions of employee development, including skill enhancement, psychological well-being, and organizational culture. Abstract

The study aims to investigate effective strategies for enhancing employee retention and fostering a nurturing work environment in organizations. Employing a comprehensive literature review approach, this research synthesizes key findings regarding financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices in promoting employee retention. Methodologically, the study utilizes a qualitative analysis of existing literature to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the retention strategies employed by organizations. The findings suggest that competitive salaries, performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits packages, and career advancement pathways are instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent. Additionally, fostering a supportive work environment characterized by open communication, transparent leadership, inclusivity, and empowerment significantly contributes to employee satisfaction and retention. Effective leadership practices, such as transformational leadership and visionary communication, play a critical role in inspiring employee engagement and commitment. Implications of the study underscore the importance of organizations adopting a multifaceted approach to retention, integrating financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices. By recognizing and addressing the diverse needs and preferences of employees, organizations can create a positive workplace culture conducive to long-term employee retention and organizational success.

Abstract

This study explores the critical role of succession planning and leadership development programs in fostering organizational resilience and driving sustainable performance. The research aims to investigate the interconnectedness of succession planning, leadership development, and the integration of technology within organizational contexts. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to synthesize existing knowledge and identify key insights into effective succession excellence strategies. Moreover, leadership development programs play a pivotal role in equipping leaders with the competencies needed to navigate complexity, drive innovation, and foster a culture of excellence within organizations. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya UU JPH yang saat ini berlaku, sehingga UMKM juga harus memiliki Sertifikasi Halal dimana manfaat sertifikasi halal adalah untuk mempermudah pemasaran UMKM. UMKM yang memiliki sertifikasi halal memiliki jaminan dari otoritas yang berwenang untuk menguji kehalalan suatu produk, makanan, minumam dan produk-produk yang diwajibkan untuk bersertifikat halal seperti yang dijelaskan oleh Undang-Undang Jaminan Produk Halal. Bukan hanya halal, tapi Toyyiban juga Halal. Halal dan baik adalah konsepnya.Konsep kehalalan yang dianut oleh pemerintah yaitu jaminan produk seharusnya tidak hanya bermanafaat bagi umat muslim, tetapi juga untuk semua khususnya di jawa barat tepatnya di kabupaten Cirebon yang meliputi 40 kecamatan, salah satunya adalah kecamatan Ciwaringin. Di kecamatan Ciwaringin yang terletak di Desa Ciwaringin, wilayah inilah yang memiliki beragam usaha mulai dari Tekstil hingga makanan ringan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesadaran halal usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah terhadap motivasi sertifikasi Halal.Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian, misalnya perilaku, persepsi, motifasi, tindakan dan sebagainya, dengan cara deskripsi dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa, dengan konteks khusus ysng alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode alamiah.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemerintah telah mewajibkan sertifikasi halal bagi UMKM, namun UMKM Batik Ciwaringin saat ini belum melakukan sertifikasi halal karena mereka menganggap bahwa produk yang ia kelola sudah dipastikan kehalalannya, karena dilihat dari proses produksinya yang sama sekali tidak ada bahan yang mengandung zat aditif atau bahan yang menurut syariat itu haram (Najis), karena pada saat pembuatan batik ciwaringin ini menggunakan bahan-bahan dari alam . Abstract

Lake Toba is located on the Sumatran Fault, an active fault line that runs along the island of Sumatra. Therefore, Toba Regency is an area prone to earthquakes. The potential for earthquakes can also cause secondary hazards such as landslides. As one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP), the government is promoting the region through the Formula 1 (F1) Powerboat racing championship held from 2023 to 2027 to increase tourist visits to Lake Toba. The purpose of this study is to provide capacity-building recommendations for the organization of the F1 Powerboat in the Lake Toba Area. The F1 Powerboat is one of the prestigious international events held in the Lake Toba Area from 2023 to 2027. In 2024, this event will be participated in by 9 countries with a total of 18 racers. To anticipate panic due to disasters during the race, capacity building is needed to enhance disaster preparedness. The research methods used in this study include literature review and data collection, followed by data analysis to generate recommendations. Recommendations to improve disaster preparedness can be achieved by enhancing regional readiness to reduce disaster risks, developing planning, multi-stakeholder collaboration, understanding risks, disseminating information, training, simulations, providing safety and disaster preparedness facilities and infrastructure, and building a culture of disaster preparedness through safety briefings and disaster preparedness simulations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang dampak Tingkat Pendidikan, Pelatihan dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 66 responden. jumlah data sampel digunakan sebanyak 66 responden atau sebesar 100% dari jumlah populasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil jawaban para responden kemudian diukur dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Data yang telah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis melalui beberapa tahapan pengujian. Tahap pertama adalah melakukan uji statistik dekriptif. Tahap kedua adalah uji isntrument data penelitian (uji validitas, uji reliabilitas). Tahap ketiga adalah uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas). Tahap keempat adalah menguji seluruh hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dan akan dibuktikan melalui uji parsial (uji t), uji simultan dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tingkat pendidikan , Pelatihan dan Disiplin kerja secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dilingkungan Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dilingkungan Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Jayawijaya sebesar 78,6% sedangkan sisanya 21,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini, seperti; lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan variabel-variabel lain. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Tingkat Pendidikan, Pelatihan, Disiplin kerja dan Kinerja Pegawai.
