Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to modify the basic locomotor movement assessment device with blocks as media for children aged 7-9 years. This research and development uses a quantitative approach and uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. The subjects in this research and development are children aged 7-9 years. The instruments used in this study were interviews and basic locomotor movement instruments and media used at the following stages: (1) needs analysis (2) media design (3) media development (4) field implementation (5) product evaluation. The results of the validation test were carried out with three experts. The results of validation with learning media experts had very good interpretations with an average score of 95.5%, while the results of validation with basic motion experts had very good interpretations with an average score of 93.3%, and the results of validation with learning media experts had very good interpretations with an average score of 95.5%. This explains that the development of basic locomotor motion instruments based on stacking blocks for children aged 7-9 years is feasible to try out and to form basic locomotor movements and assist assessment. Based on the results development it can be concluded that: (1) by developing locomotor basic movement assessment instruments based on stacking blocks for children aged 7-9 years can train basic locomotor movement abilities for children aged 7-9 years (2) generate enthusiasm and (3) make it easier for teachers to carry out locomotor basic movement assessments for children aged 7-9 years.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum Policy in public senior high schools (SMA Negeri) in Merauke Regency using William N. Dunn’s six policy evaluation criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. Employing a qualitative evaluative design, the study involved principals, teachers, supervisors, students, and parents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom and P5 project observations, and analysis of school documents. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum is effective in enhancing student participation, creativity, and contextual learning in schools with adequate infrastructure, yet its effectiveness is uneven in schools located in peripheral areas. In terms of efficiency and adequacy, the policy has not been fully optimal due to limited ICT resources, varying teacher competencies, and diverse pedagogical needs of students. Equity issues are evident, as technological access, teacher training, and P5 opportunities differ significantly between urban and rural schools. The policy is responsive to student learning needs but less responsive to the needs of teachers and schools, which experience increased administrative burdens and limited technical support. Although appropriate philosophically for the Merauke context, operational challenges hinder its full relevance. Overall, the Merdeka Curriculum holds strong transformative potential but requires strengthened structural support to ensure effective and equitable implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the importance of teachers, especially Islamic Religious Education teachers in maintaining their dignity in front of students because a teacher is a role model for them. The research methodology used used a combined method between qualitative and quantitative approaches. The findings of this study include: (1) Teachers are professional educators, not just teaching, but role models for students for academic qualifications at least Bachelor's degree and competencies at least pedagogic, professional, social and personality and for Islamic Religious Education teachers plus leadership and spiritual; (2) Teachers in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence have an important role that cannot be replaced by anything because only teachers can inspire students; (3) Based on the findings in the field, exemplary teachers are in the total score range of 42.38, so the learners' perceptions of exemplary teachers can be categorized in the high category. This strengthens the assumption that Islamic religious education teachers have a central role in shaping students' behavior, both in the school environment and outside school.

Abstract

Mappanretasi is an annual tradition practiced by the Bugis community at Pagatan Beach, symbolizing respect for the sea and the harmony between humans and nature. This study explores the symbolic meanings embedded in Mappanretasi using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation in Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model. Findings reveal that Mappanretasi is not merely a ritual, but a rich symbolic system. Offerings of four-colored sticky rice represent the elements of earth, water, fire, and air; a rooster and hen symbolize cosmic balance; while gold and eggs signify purity and abundance. The ritual also reflects belief in the ancestral figure Sawerigading as the guardian of the sea. Drawing on Émile Durkheim’s theory, these symbols reinforce social solidarity and express collective values. The sacred arises not from the objects themselves, but from communal recognition. As such, Mappanretasi maintains social cohesion and transmits cultural identity across generations. This study enriches the discourse in cultural sociology, particularly in maritime symbolism, and serves as a reference for cultural preservation and community education. Future research may compare similar coastal traditions to uncover broader patterns of symbolic expression in Indonesian maritime culture.

Abstract

Indonesia's constitutional framework assigns the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) an exclusive audit mandate under Article 23E (1) of the 1945 Constitution. However, persistent institutional dualism has allowed bodies such as BPKP and APIP to calculate state financial losses in corruption proceedings, thereby generating fundamental legal uncertainty. The normative ambiguity of Articles 603 and 604 of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code, which fail to designate the authorized institution or measurement standard for state losses. This study examines how audit authority may be defined in terms of normative criteria and the implications of Constitutional Court Decision Number 28/PUU-XXIV/2026 for Indonesia's state financial accountability system. A normative legal method is employed, combining statutory, conceptual, and case approaches with systematic, teleological, and historical interpretation. The study finds that the audit authority is of an attributive-constitutional character, grounded exclusively in Article 23E. The decision institutionally repositions BPKP and APIP as internal oversight bodies, procedurally obligates law enforcement to rely on BPK findings, and constitutionally reinforces legal certainty under Article 28D paragraph (1). This study contributes to the concept of constitutionalization of audit authority as a framework for understanding how independent oversight institutions are embedded within and protected by the constitutional order.
