Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to gain a comprehensive understanding of online buying and selling practices from the perspective of the Quran. This study involves the analysis of principles outlined in the Quran that can be applied to online commerce in the present-day context. The research findings demonstrate that online transactions, when examined through the lens of the Quran, should adhere to principles of justice, honesty, transparency, avoidance of usury, consumer protection, and contract fulfillment. While the Quran does not explicitly address online buying and selling, the principles contained within it can be effectively applied to ensure that these transactions align with Islamic values. The research underscores the significance of consulting qualified experts in interpretation (tafsir) and Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) to attain a deeper understanding of these principles within the specific context of online commerce. By adhering to the Quranic principles, individuals engaging in online buying and selling can foster an environment of fairness, integrity, and ethical conduct. This research serves as a valuable guide for Muslims seeking to navigate the realm of online commerce in a manner that upholds the teachings and values of Islam. It highlights the importance of incorporating the Quranic principles into contemporary business practices and emphasizes the need for continuous consultation with experts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of these principles in the context of online buying and selling. Abstract

The distribution and abundance of fish are strongly influenced by several oceanographic parameters, one of which is chlorophyll-a. Chlorophyll-a is one of the oceanographic parameters that play an important role in primary productivity in the sea. The distribution of chlorophyll-a contained in phytoplankton can be used as a measure of fertility in water. With advances in geographic information systems or remote sensing, the distribution of chlorophyll-a can be used to estimate fish catchment areas. This study aims to look at the distribution of chlorophyll-a in Aceh waters both spatially and temporally to predict fishing locations. This study used satellite imagery combined with a Geographic Information System (GIS) to detect chlorophyll-as distribution. The results of satellite image processing show that the average monthly value of chlorophyll-a in Aceh waters ranges from 2.71 23.54 mg/m3, areas with high chlorophyll-a are generally located in the western waters of Aceh to the southwestern waters of Aceh, while areas with The lowest chlorophyll-a is generally in areas far from the coast (towards the open sea) with a range of 0.04 0.5 mg/m3 where the lowest average occurs in the east monsoon. However, in general, the potential locations for fishing grounds are more in the waters west of Aceh than in the waters north of Aceh, Aceh waters.Keywords:Chlorophyll-aSatellite imageFishing areaGeographic information SystemAceh Waters

Abstract

The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to generate digital data that provides information on the characteristics of an area and describes changes in land cover that can be used in a more effective and efficient sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze the mangrove land cover of the north coast of Aceh Besar over the last three decades, namely 2000, 2010, and 2020 in the Baitussalam sub-district, Mesjid Raya sub-district and Seulimeum sub-district. The research was conducted from June 2022 to September 2022 at the GIS Laboratory, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. The research was conducted using a Geographic Information System (GIS) that utilizes high-resolution satellite imagery from Google Earth Pro. Mangrove land was digitized visually on screen, then data processing was carried out, and spatially analyzed. The results of the analysis of changes in mangrove land cover in the research area show that the Baitussalam and Mesjid Raya sub-districts had a decreasing trend of mangove land between 2000 and 2010 and subsequently there was an increase in mangrove land cover from 2010 to 2020. Meanwhile, Seulimeum sub-district experienced a decreasing trend of land cover in 2000 until 2020. The decline in the trend of mangroves in various places is caused by the growth of the population using mangrove land as residential area. While the increase in mangove land cover was due to the success of reforestation and pond land conversion. The results conclude that the mangrove land cover on the north coast of Aceh Besar is relatively stable with an increasing trend of growth. Keywords:Land coverMangroveHigh resolution googleHistorical imageryGoogle earth proDigitize

Abstract

One of the causes of environmental damage is the presence of piles of rubbish which can cause flooding and ultimately disrupt human survival. In Pekanbaru City, there are areas that have quite worrying waste problems, namely RT 03, RW 05, Tirta Siak Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. Almost every day rubbish can be seen scattered in residential areas. This describes the lack of public awareness and concern regarding the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. The aim of this community service activity is firstly to provide knowledge of non-traditional threats, especially human security issue to residents of RT 03 RW 05, Tirta Siak Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. Second, increase citizens' insight into Islamic conceptions of environmental cleanliness, and third, grow and increase citizens' awareness and concern in solving waste problems. Service activities start from the observation stage, carrying out counseling, recruiting volunteers, and monitoring. The result of this service activity is that residents' knowledge about the threat of environmental damage and good waste management techniques has increased. The increase in knowledge can be seen in the questionnaire results which reached 83%. Apart from that, residents' awareness and concern for environmental cleanliness is also starting to be seen from implementing the 4R concept in daily life and the formation of environmental care movement by carrying out routine mutual cooperation actions and monitoring the environment.

Abstract

Poverty is a crucial problem in human life. The Qur'an also explains some of the causes of poverty. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic social finance as an effort to alleviate poverty from the perspective of Qur'anic interpretation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study approach, which examines sources related to the theme raised. This method also uses the science of interpretation by examining the verses of the Qur'an contextually. The results showed that in the Qur'an, poverty can occur due to several causes, whether it comes from oneself, the environment, and the state. In the implementation of the role of Islamic social finance as an effort to alleviate poverty, it has made a major contribution even though it has not been significant. This is due to management that has not been maximized. However, it has been proven in history that Islamic social finance is able to alleviate poverty.
