Abstract

This study aims to analyse the language variations of Generation Z in face-to-face social interactions and virtual interactions on digital media from a pragmatic perspective. The study focuses on platforms widely used by Generation Z, namely TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a virtual ethnographic approach. Data was collected through participant observation, note-taking techniques, and in-depth interviews with 15 informants aged 18–24 years. In addition, data was collected from posts, comments, and forms of digital interaction that represent Generation Z's distinctive language use. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, grouping of linguistic units, interpretation of speech context, and drawing conclusions based on the pragmatic functions of speech, such as intent, implicature, and communication strategies used. The results of the study show that Generation Z's language variation is formed through dynamic interactions between offline and online social spaces. Terms such as FYP, POV, Reels, OOTD, sender, and retweet have undergone shifts in meaning and function to become slang that is expressive, creative, and contextual. This language variation serves as a marker of group identity, a means of social solidarity, and an adaptive strategy in digital communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the concept of jewelry in the Qur’an as reflected in the term ?ilyah. This research is qualitative in nature and employs a thematic analysis method. The author specifically adopts an approach from Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir) that is directly related to textual interpretation and aims to uncover textual meaning by examining each detail of the interpretive process. The results of this study indicate that, in general, jewelry in the Qur’an as denoted by the term ?ilyah refers to adornments in the form of clothing or items worn by humans to appear beautiful and attractive, usually made of gold and silver. Jewelry in the Qur’an associated with the term ?ilyah also represents various human attitudes, such as love of worldly life to the extent of idolizing it, covering the awrah (parts of the body that should be concealed), and expressing gratitude. This research is important to obtain Qur’anic guidance regarding ?ilyah as a form of adornment.

Abstract

Based on positive law, which applies in Indonesia, decentralization has "chosen" to give up some of its authority to autonomous regions. The delegated authority is very broad, because in Law Number. 23 of 2014 uses a residual system when determining what is the authority of local governments. With the residual system, the central authorities have been clearly defined in advance, while the rest are autonomous regions. Therefore, authority in the health sector has become an autonomous regional government authority, because that authority is not determined as the authority of the central government. On the one hand this benefits the local government, because by using its authority, the regional government can regulate the health sector according to its aspirations and capabilities. This research was approached in terms of legal science, both at the dogmatic level, legal theory, and legal philosophy. In this study also used a normative legal approach or library law, namely legal research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data. Normative legal research or literature includes research on semantic law, research on the degree of vertical and horizontal synchronization, comparison of law and history of law. Research on legal principles is carried out by interpreting the legal norms formulated in laws and regulations relating to local government in Indonesia. Based on this research study, it can be concluded that in terms of law and policy as well as the scope of authority of regional governments that support regional autonomy in the health sector, it is still unclear and inconsistent in the description of the functions and authority of regional governments in the health sector. Keywords:Decentralization; Health Law; Regional Autonomy

Abstract

Purpose – To address this gap, this study situates the halal industry within the broader transformation of Islamic sustainable banking by examining how maqasid, technological infrastructure, and green economy alignment collectively shape sustainable value creation in the Islamic finance ecosystem. Method – Using a systematic literature review (SLR) following PRISMA protocols, 2020–2024 studies were identified, screened, and synthesized through a structured multi-stage process involving database triangulation (Scopus, WoS, Dimensions), keyword clustering, thematic coding, and cross-validation to derive four core analytical themes: maqasid as a normative foundation, halal industry transformation as a real-sector driver, technology as compliance infrastructure, and green economy alignment toward SDGs integration. Findings – Findings reveal that maqasid provides a coherent ethical framework for integrating sustainability into governance, while the halal industry acts as a catalyst for real-sector expansion that stimulates demand for sustainable Islamic financial products. Technology enhances shariah–sustainability compliance through digital auditability, blockchain-based transparency, and algorithmic risk management. Implication – Theoretically, this study proposes an integrated Islamic Sustainable Banking Model that connects maqasid-based governance, halal value chain development, and green financial instruments. Practically, the findings offer strategic implications for regulators and Islamic financial institutions to harmonize shariah–regulatory frameworks, scale green sukuk and waqf-linked financing, strengthen digital compliance systems, and advance Islamic finance as a driver of national and global sustainability transitions

Abstract

This article explores the dynamics of tafs?r bi al-ra’yi as a Qur’anic hermeneutical approach that integrates rational capacity (?aql) within a rigorous epistemological framework of tafsir. The study aims to elaborate the fundamental concept of tafs?r bi al-ra’yi, to distinguish its classification into commendable (mamd??a) and blameworthy (ma?m?m) forms, and to map the methodological prerequisites required for its proper application. Employing a qualitative-descriptive research design based on library research, this study synthesizes data from authoritative primary sources and supporting literature within the disciplines of Qur’anic studies and u??l al-fiqh. The findings affirm that tafs?r bi al-ra’yi does not represent a liberalized, purely subjective mode of interpretation, but rather constitutes a legitimate form of ijtihad when conducted in accordance with Arabic linguistic principles, Shar??ah norms, and the contextual framework of revelation. This article underscores the urgency of regulating the authority of reason in Qur’anic interpretation to ensure scholarly validity while preserving the authenticity of the divine message.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia as a legal state upholds the principle of rule of law based on the 1945 Constitution, has institutions such as the Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, and Judicial Commission (KY) that play an important role in the justice system.Purposes of the Research: The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss the authority of the Judicial Commission in supervising constitutional judges and to analyze and explain the mechanism of Judicial Commission supervision of constitutional judges after Constitutional Court Decision Number: 005/PUU-TV/2006.Methods of the Research: The type of research used is normative juridical research. The problem approach used is a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. Sources of legal materials are primary legal sources and secondary legal materials. Procedures for collecting legal materials through literature studies. Processing and analyzing legal materials qualitatively.Findings of the Research: The results showed that to achieve a good and ideal judicial system, it can be realized by maintaining the objectivity and integrity of decisions and the behavior of judges in the judicial power, but currently the position and authority of the Judicial Commission (KY) as an external supervisory institution of the judiciary is still very weak due to restrictions by the Constitutional Court Decision Number: 005/PUU/IV-2006 and a narrow interpretation of the 1945 Constitution, so to answer the needs of the community, it is necessary to revise Law Number 18 of 2011 to explicitly emphasize the authority of KY in supervising all judges, including constitutional judges. KY must also be recognized as a state institution that is equal to the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court in the Indonesian constitutional system, in accordance with the principle of checks and balances, to ensure effective, transparent and accountable supervision.

Abstract

Most of the coastal areas of Aceh Besar are areas of accumulation of organic compounds, one of which is Organic Carbon (OC). The purpose of this study was to analyze the chemical content by looking vertically at the content of OC, soil pH and Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) on the coast of Aceh Besar District. Analysis of the OC content using the Walkley and Black method, while to analyze the Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) using the Titrimetric method. Especially for the analysis of soil pH, only use a pH meter. The results showed that each station had different levels of OC and carbonate. Generally, the presence of OC decreases with depth, while the carbonate content varies. Especially for soil pH, the pH is relative to the alkaline state for each depth. The range of OC content for all stations is 0.18 2.48%, Carbonate 5.36 13.27% and pH 6.37-8.73.Keywords:CoastalOrganic CarbonCarbonateSoil pH
