Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship of the Yeh Pulu Relief as one of the cultural heritage in the 14th century in Bali with the concept of Tri Hita Karana, as well as examine its relevance in the context of modern life. The Yeh Pulu relief not only holds aesthetic and historical value, but also represents the harmony of the relationship between humans and God (Parahyangan), fellow humans (Pawongan), and the environment (Palemahan). The approach used in this study is qualitative, through literature study methods, interviews and field observations. In analyzing the Relief, Yeh Pulu utilizes the theory of symbolic interaction used to reveal the meaning that social relations formed in ancient traditional Balinese society, while the theory of semiotics helps in interpreting the visual signs and symbols engraved on the Yeh Pulu Relief. The results of this study show that the various contained in the Yeh Pulu Relief represent the values of the Tri Hita Karana, such as agricultural activities that reflect harmony with nature (Palemahan), social interaction in the scene of community life (Pawongan), and the existence of spiritual figures or figures that symbolize the relationship with God (Parahyangan). This finding confirms that the Yeh Pulu Relief not only reflects the Balinese life philosophy of the time but the values in the Yeh Pulu Relief can be an inspiration in building a balanced and sustainable modern life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe online learning designs in applying students' communication skills. The method used in this research uses descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis refers to Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis technique, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the teacher's planning for online teaching in history subjects is in accordance with the lesson plans. Then, the RPP made by the teacher contains students' communication skills. The models and methods used by teachers in teaching adapt to the characteristics of students so that learning can run well.

Abstract

The Samudra Raksa Museum is an important representation of the archipelago's maritime history that developed from the 8th to the 16th centuries AD. However, its utilization as a learning resource for history remains relatively minimal, especially in contextual learning oriented toward direct experience. This research aims to explore the potential of the Samudra Raksa Museum as an effective and relevant learning resource for history among students. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collection techniques comprising observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that the Samudra Raksa Museum has high educational value through its collections and visual narratives, which represent the glory of shipping, trade, and maritime diplomacy of the archipelago's kingdoms—especially the Sriwijaya Kingdom. This study recommends integrating museum visits into the national history curriculum. In conclusion, the Samudra Raksa Museum serves as a highly effective and interactive learning resource that enriches maritime history education. To optimize its use, it is recommended to integrate museum visits into the national history curriculum, develop structured learning modules, enhance teacher preparedness, and expand accessibility through digital platforms such as virtual tours. Collaboration between schools and museums, along with logistical support, is essential to ensure equitable and contextual learning experiences for all students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media using Quizizz Lesson on the National Movement Era material and test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in enhancing students' interest in learning history. The research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with subjects from class XI of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, consisting of 30 experimental and 30 control group students. The instruments used are interest questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and student practicality test sheets. The validity results show an average value of 0.95 (Highly Valid), practicality at 92.89% (Highly Practical), and effectiveness with an N-Gain of 0.52 (Medium) and a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). The Quizizz Lesson media proves to be feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students' interest in learning the National Movement Era material
