Abstract

Silica gel is a compound that has two active sides, namely silanol (S-OH) and siloxane (Si-O-Si), which are still less effective as adsorbents, so modification is carried out. Silica is modified by adding sulfonate compounds with the help of GPTMS bridging compounds. This modification aims to improve the absorption capacity of Nickel (Ni2+) metal ions in the modified adsorbent, namely sulfonate-modified silica gel-GPTMS. The characterizations used are SSA (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry) to see the success of the adsorption and desorption process. This research is quantitative experimental research where the adsorption and desorption processes are carried out using the column method, where the adsorption process itself is carried out on the Ni2+ cation using silica gel-GPTMS Sulfonate adsorbent at an optimal concentration of 20 ppm and pH 3. Then, we continued with the desorption process, which aims to determine the optimum conditions of the desorption process, including determining the type of desorption agent (NaCl and CaCl2) and concentration for the Ni2+ cation desorption process. Based on the results of the research conducted, the optimum condition of the type of desorption agent is CaCl2 where the desorbed weight is 0.1527 mg, and the per cent desorption is 90.10%, the optimum concentration of CaCl2 is 0.025M with a desorbed weight of 0.1442 mg and a per cent desorption of 90.18%. Based on the experimental results, the sulfonate-modified silica gel-GPTMS adsorbent can still be used repeatedly for adsorption and desorption of Ni2+ cations at optimum conditions.

Abstract

Electrical energy sources have developed rapidly today in order to minimize the use of fuel oil which is currently decreasing in number and the distribution of electricity from PLN to the community which is not evenly distributed. The use of renewable and environmentally friendly energy will provide a solution when compared to the use fuels fossil  such as coal which will soon run out, it is also known that Indonesia is a coastal country with abundant wind speed and sunlight potential. Therefore, this study aims to create a power generator by utilizing the potential of solar power plant (PLTS) and wind power plant (PLTB) energy sources by adding a portable system is designed using solidworks. In the process of making this tool, planning is carried out to make a design, design determines the tools and materials used, the work process, cutting hollow iron according to the specified size, welding, and installation of windmills. The size of this power plant is 1330mm long, 600mm wide and 700mm high. The results of the portable power plant test using a 15W capacity lamp obtained the highest results at 11.05VDC PLTS and the highest voltage at 2.45VDC PLTB. In addition, this study also carried out a safety factor simulation on the power plant frame from the simulation results obtained as follows in part one stress value (vonmises) 9.873e-08N/m2, displacement 3.930e-04 mm, strain 4.637e+04 N/m2, and safety factor 1.741, In the frame section two stress (vonmises) 5.554e-04N/m2, displacement 3.098e-00mm, strain 9.488e-08N/m2, and safety factor 3.6.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the role of profitability in mediating the impact of liquidity and capital structure on stock returns in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. The study population included 29 companies, and the sample taken was 26 companies using purposive sampling method. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between liquidity and profitability, while capital structure has no impact on profitability. In addition, liquidity, capital structure, and profitability are significantly negatively correlated with stock returns. Profitability also does not function as a mediator in the relationship between liquidity, capital structure and stock returns.

Abstract

Central Aceh is one of the districts in Aceh province. The capital city of Central Aceh is Takengon, which is a small town with cold weather located on one of the ridges of the Bukit Barisan mountains which lie along the island of Sumatra, Central Aceh district is located in the Gayo highlands. Other districts in this area are Bener Meriah district and Gayo Lues district. The service activities carried out in Kampung Pantan Nangka Village, Linge District, Central Aceh Regency consisted of preparation, socialization and introduction of cardamom pudding products, and training in making cardamom pudding. To get to know pudding, there was socialization and an introduction to the processing of cardamom into pudding, in the form of counseling which was attended by 25 participants. Pudding is one name for various desserts which are generally made from boiled ingredients. In general, pudding is grouped into wet foods which are usually served on certain occasions. Pudding is made from a mixture of gelatin powder, sugar and water. In processing, pudding can be combined with various other ingredients such as fruit, vegetables, milk, nuts, and so on. Pudding has a sweet taste with a soft texture so it is liked by everyone from children

Abstract

Abstract: The reduction of the band gap of the ZnO photocatalyst with its impregnation technique on activated carbon has been successfully carried out. The impregnation method involves absorption, dehydration at 100 oC, and calcination at 400 oC for 6 hours. Variations of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O used 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% for 6 and 12 hours. Band gap test was carried out with UV-DRS. The optimum photocatalyst was achieved at 75 mg Activated carbon-ZnO 15% impregnated for 6 hours, with a decrease in the ZnO band gap to 2.62 eV the presence of Zn-O groups in the FTIR characterization results. Abstrak: Penurunan celah pita fotokatalis ZnO dengan teknik impregnasinya pada karbon aktif telah berhasil dilakukan. Metode impregnasi melalui tahapan penyerapan, dehidrasi pada 100 oC, dan kalsinasi pada suhu 400 oC selama 6 jam. Variasi Zn(NO3)2.6H2O yang digunakan 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25% selama 6 dan 12 jam. Uji celah pita dilakukan dengan UV-DRS. Fotokatalis optimum tercapai pada 75 mg Karbon aktif-ZnO 15% impregnasi 6 jam, dengan penurunan nilai celah pita ZnO menjadi 2,62 eV dan adanya gugus Zn-O pada hasil karakterisasi FTIR.

Abstract

To improve students' language skills, Student Association Of Arabic Education Study Program took the initiative to implement a program called Mumarasah al-'Arabiyah. As for the program must be managed by good actuating management in three aspects, leadership, communication and supervision. Therefore, this research aims to analyze and discribe the actuating management of Mumarasah al-'Arabiyah program implemented by Arabic Education students at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University Padang, which focuses on three aspects, leadership, communication and supervision. The type of research is qualitative  with descriptive methods, with in information collected from Student Association of Arabic Education Study Program by interview and observation technique. Then data analysis used Miles and Huberman analysis model with the following steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results are : 1) The Mumarasah al-'Arabiyah program has been implemented well, this is indicated by implemented 3 aspects (leadership, communication, supervision) of implementation management well, 2) The leadership style is mixed leadership, between democratic and autocratic, 3) The communication applied in three systems: top down communication, bottom up communication, and horizontal communication, 4) The supervision applied by inviting Arabic Education lecturers to attend the Mumarasah al-Arabiyah activities and then provide the improvments, like the hiwar material that was presented was too long, there was a lack of oversight from the committee, or even the suggestion that interesting activities be carried out during mumarasah events, such as occasional mumarasah activities being outdoors.

Abstract

Bunkate Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, has fisheries potential, especially freshwater fish farming, but this potential has not been optimally managed. KKN-PMD students from Mataram University initiated technical guidance and processing and marketing activities for freshwater fish farming products. This activity includes training in making fish sticks as one of the product form diversifications and education on effective food product marketing strategies. The program implementation method includes observation, interviews with fish farmers, recipe formulation, and implementation of technical guidance attended by the surrounding community, especially PKK mothers. The results of the activity showed that participants were enthusiastic in participating in the training and gained new skills in processing tilapia into products with higher selling value in the form of fish sticks and marketing strategies for fishery products, which are expected to increase the income and welfare of the village community. Through this activity, it is hoped that the Bunkate Village community will be able to develop fisheries-based businesses independently and sustainably, thereby increasing the welfare of the village community, especially freshwater fish farmers.

Abstract

Bunkate Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, has abundant freshwater fisheries potential, especially in freshwater fisheries cultivation. However, this potential has not been managed optimally. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi pengembangan karier bagi frontliner generasi Z dalam konteks sistem pemagangan tiga tahun di industri perbankan. Dengan mengkaji teori-teori pengembangan karier serta karakteristik khas Gen Z, ditemukan bahwa sistem magang jangka panjang memberikan peluang besar untuk membentuk sumber daya manusia yang profesional, adaptif, dan siap kerja. Pemagangan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tahap transisi ke dunia kerja, tetapi juga sebagai fondasi internalisasi nilai organisasi dan pembentukan kompetensi teknis maupun non-teknis. Strategi karier yang efektif untuk Gen Z harus adaptif terhadap kebutuhan generasi muda, digital-friendly dalam penggunaan teknologi, serta memiliki struktur karier yang jelas dan terarah. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini mencakup perlunya penyusunan roadmap karier sejak awal masa magang, pelatihan mentor internal yang sesuai gaya belajar Gen Z, serta evaluasi strategi SDM berbasis data kinerja. Strategi-strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan loyalitas, kinerja, dan kesinambungan pengembangan karier Gen Z sebagai frontliner di sektor perbankan.

Abstract

Tempeh chips are a popular soybean-based snack widely consumed by the public; however, they are potentially susceptible to contamination by heavy metals such as lead (Pb) during the production process. Pb exposure in food can pose serious health risks, making it essential to analyze Pb levels to ensure food safety. This study aims to determine the Pb content in tempeh chips using the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) method and to evaluate its safety based on the standards set by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The AAS method was employed to detect Pb concentrations in tempeh chip samples. The results showed that the Pb content in the samples was 0.029 mg/kg and 0.031 mg/kg, which are well below the maximum limit of 0.25 mg/kg as specified in SNI No. 2602-2018. Method validation indicated good linearity with an r² value of 0.9950 and acceptable precision with an RPD of 6.89%. Therefore, the AAS method is proven to be valid for analyzing Pb content in tempeh chips, and the tested samples are considered safe for consumption according to the applicable standards. AbstrakKeripik tempe merupakan salah satu olahan kedelai yang digemari masyarakat luas, namun berpotensi tercemar logam berat seperti timbal (Pb) selama proses produksinya. Paparan Pb dalam makanan dapat membahayakan kesehatan, sehingga diperlukan analisis kadar Pb untuk menjamin keamanan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar logam Pb dalam keripik tempe menggunakan metode Spektroskopi Serapan Atom (SSA) dan mengevaluasi keamanannya berdasarkan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Metode SSA digunakan untuk mendeteksi kandungan Pb dalam sampel keripik tempe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar Pb pada sampel keripik tempe adalah 0,029 mg/kg dan 0,031 mg/kg. Kadar ini masih di bawah batas maksimum yang ditetapkan oleh SNI No. 2602-2018, yaitu 0,25 mg/kg. Validasi metode analisis menunjukkan linieritas yang baik dengan nilai r2 = 0,9950 dan presisi yang baik dengan %RPD = 6,89%. Dengan demikian, metode SSA terbukti valid untuk analisis kadar Pb dalam keripik tempe, dan sampel yang diuji aman untuk dikonsumsi sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku
