Abstract

Praktik refleksi telah menjadi salah satu prinsip utama dalam menjalankan pendidikan inklusif yang sukses. Dengan praktik refleksi, guru dapat memeriksa sikap mereka dan membedakan praktik penilaian, pengajaran, dan pengelolaan kelas mereka, untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan setiap siswa dan memberikan semua siswa akses dan kemajuan dalam kurikulum pendidikan umum. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi praktik refleksi yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam rangka memenuhi peranannya dalam pendidikan inklusif dan mengetahui faktor penghalang bagi guru dalam melaksanakan praktik refleksi.  Penelitian ini melibatkan empat guru kelas inklusif di sebuah sekolah dasar di Jakarta. Metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan untuk menggambarkan praktik refleksi pada setiap guru dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan jurnal refleksi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap responden telah mulai melakukan praktik refleksi dalam pembelajarannya dengan mencerminkan sikap guru reflektif yaitu berpikiran terbuka, sepenuh hati, dan bertanggungjawab. Hasilnya, guru mampu mengidentifikasi, mengakomodasi, and memotivasi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus.Kata kunci: praktik refleksi, pendidikan inklusif, peran guru

Abstract

In the development of student character formation, educators are needed to facilitate student discipline. Based on the facts of the problems found, there are some student behaviors that are less disciplined during learning. The violation committed is not complying with the mutually agreed rules. The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of applying rules and procedures on the formation of elementary school students' discipline in learning that takes place in the classroom, through qualitative descriptive research methods. The application of rules and procedures applied in the classroom can be carried out consistently with the aim of familiarizing students with order. Through this, discipline will be formed in students. Based on the facts, when conducting research at an elementary school in Lampung, the authors found that the consistent application of rules and procedures had a positive effect on changes in student behavior. In conclusion, the use of classroom rules and procedures can improve student discipline behavior if it is carried out consistently and repeatedly in the classroom. Suggestions for teachers in the future are to continue to apply classroom rules and procedures consistently and give warnings or remind students if they violate applicable rules and procedures

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is intend to describe the role of Pancasila in dealing with radicalism and social exclusivism in the era of globalization. This paper also tends to see the impact of globalization on the spread of deviant views such as radicalism and social exclusivism. Finally, how is Pancasila as an ideology to stem radicalism and social exclusivism in the era of globalization in everyday life in the context of nationality in Indonesia. With the literature review method, the writer tries to find answers to the focus of the writing. It was found that cultivation and appreciation of the values ​​of Pancasila need to be instilled in oneself from an early age. Tulisan ini bermaksud mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran Pancasila dalam menghadapi radikalisme dan eksklusi sosial di era globalisasi? Bagaimana pula dampak globalisasi terhadap merebaknya pandangan-pandangan menyimpang seperti radikalisme dan eksklusi sosial? Terakhir, bagaimana Pancasila sebagai ideologi untuk membendung radikalisme dan eksklusi sosial di era globalisasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam konteks kebangsaan di Indonesia. Dengan metode tinjauan pustaka, penulis mencoba mencari jawaban atas fokus penulisan. Ditemukan bahwa penanaman dan penghayatan nilai-nilai Pancasila perlu ditanamkan pada diri sendiri sejak dini.

Abstract

Assessment is an important component in learning mathematics. The practice of mathematics assessment is influenced by teachers' beliefs about the assessment. This study aims to explore the beliefs of primary school mathematics teachers regarding mathematics assessment. The research used quantitative research methods using survey methods to 71 prospective elementary school mathematics teachers. Confidence data regarding mathematics assessment was collected using closed and open questionnaires based on a framework of productive beliefs and unproductive beliefs. Data from closed questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Meanwhile, open questionnaire data were analyzed using deductive coding method based on productive and unproductive beliefs. The results showed that prospective elementary school mathematics teachers held mixed beliefs in mathematics assessment. On the one hand, it can be said that the beliefs of prospective elementary school mathematics teachers regarding mathematics assessment tend to be contradictory. These results imply the importance of an attempt to intervene in the beliefs of prospective elementary school mathematics teachers regarding mathematics assessment. Thus, assessment practice can lead to productive assessment, which is to encourage meaningful mathematics learning.

Abstract

PHBS dapat dimulai dengan menerapkan sanitasi pada lingkungan sekolah sehingga dapat mulai dibiasakan dan diajarkan kepada anak-anak. Namun, masih banyak sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat yang sulit untuk mengakses sanitasi dan toilet sehat dan higienis. Padahal, sanitasi sekolah dapat menjadi salah satu langkah untuk mewujudkan lingkungan pembelajaran yang sehat dan nyaman bagi siswa/i. TK Tiara Veritas Cikande memiliki kesadaran akan sanitasi yang penting untuk dimiliki, tetapi kesadaran tersebut tidak disertai dengan ketersediaan fasilitas yang memadai untuk digunakan. Maka dari itu, Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan Papua (YPHP) melalui dana CSR atau Corporate Social Responsibility untuk peningkatan sarana dan fasilitas sanitasi bagi warga sekolah TK Tiara Veritas, seperti perbaikan dapur, toilet, wastafel. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah tersedianya toilet dan wastafel yang sesuai dengan standar sanitasi yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, dengan terpisahnya toilet laki-laki dan perempuan serta tersedianya wastafel dengan air bersih yang mengalir. Selain itu, melalui perbaikan dapur dapat menjadi sarana masyarakat untuk saling berelasi. Fasilitas yang telah diberikan ini pada akhirnya dapat dinikmati secara langsung terhadap anak didik, guru maupun orang tua sekaligus mengajarkan makna hidup melalui pentingnya sanitasi, sarana dan kelengkapan infrastruktur sekolah.

Abstract

Yayasan Abar Indonesia merupakan sebuah yayasan yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan. Yayasan Abar memiliki kegiatan rutin yaitu mengadakan pertemuan dan memberikan pembekalan kepada para orangtua siswa dan tenaga pendidik. Namun, karena adanya keterbatasan seperti keadaan pandemi, dan sulitnya mencari narasumber untuk mengisi dalam kegiatan edukasi, khususnya untuk membantu tenaga pendidik beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran online yang masih harus dilakukan oleh sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia. Maka dari itu, peneliti bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Abar dan Universitas Pelita Harapan menyelenggarakan kegiatan edukasi dan workshop online dengan pembicara yang memiliki kompetensi dan berfokus pada topik “Basic Teacher's Competence in Primary a Secondary Education (Online Setting)”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu para penggiat pendidikan untuk menambah keterampilan dan kreativitas dalam melakukan pembelajaran online secara lebih menarik dan dapat diterapkan kepada siswa/i di sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali, dan membekali partisipan tidak hanya sebatas teori namun juga melakukan praktik yang dilakukan pada sesi kedua. Target peserta dari kegiatan ini secara khusus yaitu guru, kepala sekolah, dan orang tua, namun juga terbuka bagi masyarakat umum yang memiliki keinginan juga untuk belajar bersama. Melalui kegiatan ini, partisipan dapat terbantu untuk memiliki inovasi dalam mengajar dan mengenal aplikasi-aplikasi pembelajaran yang dapat mereka gunakan kepada siswa/i di sekolah.

Abstract

Anak Cerdas Indonesia (ACI) merupakan komunitas anak kolong jembatan yang tersisihkan akibat penggusuran kawasan prostitusi, tempat hiburan komersial, peredaran minuman keras dan narkoba di Kalijodo, Jakarta Barat. Mereka terpaksa tinggal disana karena tidak bisa bertempat tinggal di rumah susun sederhana Marunda. Kerasnya kehidupan kota mengharuskan mereka memilih cara bekerja yang salah. Keadaan tersebut memotivasi salah satu Pendidikan Informal yaitu Sekolah Pondok Domba dengan kesederhanaan, keterbatasan dan semangat juang dalam mendidik generasi penerus bangsa dari kalangan terbuang menjadi lebih berdampak. Salah satu program yang dijalankan adalah program Character Camp. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini antara lain; mengajarkan profil pelajar Pancasila yaitu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME serta berakhlak mulia, berkebinekaan global, bergotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dirangkai selama 3 hari melalui metode bercerita, menonton dan merefleksikan film motivasi, permainan bermakna secara outdoor dengan protokol kesehatan ketat masa pandemi Covid19 dan penguatan materi yang membangun secara hybrid learning. Hasil kegiatan ini terlihat bahwa 75% anak-anak senang, 80% termotivasi menjalani kehidupan, 80% percaya diri menyelesaikan pendidikan dan 100% mengharapkan kegiatan serupa secara berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian terlihat kegiatan yang disajikan mampu membangun karakter Anak Cerdas Indonesia melalui Character Camp.

Abstract

In online learning, there are several problems for both teachers and students. namely, skills in utilizing technology, limited facilities and infrastructure, interactive media. The solution is the role of the teacher in designing learning with pedagogical competence in the 21st century. The teacher must use effective and interactive technology in communicating with students. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of teachers in applying the pedagogical competences of 21st century teachers in online learning through 3 learning components, namely materials, media and learning methods. The research method used descriptive qualitative with supporting data in the form of lesson plans, reflection sheets, and teacher feedback. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, lesson plans, teaching reflection, teaching feedback and documentation. The author uses feedback from teaching journals and reflection journals after the teaching process as the main data. Supporting sources are scientific journals and books that correspond to the problems the author finds. Analyzing data, researchers looked for solutions to problems that occur in teaching practice. The solution was for the teacher to design attractive learning methods, present learning materials by involving students, and utilizing technological media in the learning process. As a result, obstacles in online learning can be overcome through teacher pedagogical competences in the 21st century. The suggestion are that teachers should continue to improve themselves in developing their own pedagogical competences, and have effective communication with students.

Abstract

Using games in an English class can enhance the student’s learning process. It offers an environment where the students can practice using new words and express themselves freely. This study aims to measure the effect of the traditional game the Konjo community “Äk’ Bombo-Bombo” in improving the student’s vocabulary mastery. The game is one of the popular traditional games in rural areas of the Kajang sub-district. Therefore, it is proper to be applied for students of elementary 115 in Tana Toa Village, Kajang. The study conducted a pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Independent and dependent variables were determined as the traditional game of Ak Bombo Bombo and the student’s English vocabulary development scores, respectively. There were 20 students in sixth grade in elementary school as the samples, which were chosen by using the total sampling technique. The results of this study showed that the student's mean post-test score (3.10) was higher than the pre-test score (3.05). Statistical tests also show that the value of the t-test, pre-test, and post-test is less than the alpha value (0.000 < 0.05). It can be concluded that the traditional game Ak Bombo-Bombo increased the student’s English vocabulary significantly in a positive way.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations in the 4th grade of Christian Elementary School in Tangerang. Undisciplined attitude was found in students, because class management was not optimal. As a result, the learning process is less effective and conducive. Thus, the importance of maximizing classroom management through the application of rules and procedures as an effort to form students' disciplined attitudes. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the teacher's role in implementing classroom management through rules and procedures, as an effort to form a disciplined attitude for 4th grade students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. From the results of the discussion, it is stated that classroom management through the application of rules and procedures is maximally able to overcome students' undisciplined attitudes. The teacher as a guide is required to be able to direct students to keep walking in the right corridor. Thus, the discipline that is built in students forms a good behavior. In conclusion, class management is said to be successful if the learning objectives are achieved and the students' discipline is formed in stages that are agreed upon and carried out together. Suggestions in the future, teachers need to emphasize and remind the rules and procedures both at the beginning and at the end of learning. Teachers also need to approach students who are not yet disciplined. And, consistently reminding the procedures that apply continuously, so that they hope to form positive habits that students carry throughout their lives.
