Abstract

The Viola-Jones algorithm is one algorithm that is often used to detect faces. The human face recognition system is an important technology that functions as a security system, control system, and others. This is in accordance with the research objectives, namely to determine the application of the Viola-Jones algorithm in detecting the faces of students and teachers at SMK IDN Boarding School. This research aims to develop a student and teacher attendance system at IDN Boarding School Jonggol using face recognition technology with the Viola-Jones algorithm. The developed attendance system aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in managing the attendance of students and teachers. Then identify attendance by comparing face images registered in the system database. The application used by the face recognition program is PyCharm Community 2023 Version 1.4 with the macOS operating system. The test used various expressions totaling 200 images of 20 people. The percentage of successful face recognition process is 95%. Some factors that affect the success of recognition are lighting, face distance and face position.

Abstract

Asset management is an important process that must be carried out by a company in managing its assets effectively and efficiently. PT. Integrasi Data Nusantara is a company that requires good asset management in carrying out its business operations. Therefore, the authors conducted research on the implementation of asset management practices at PT. Integrasi Data Nusantara using the ITILv4 framework. This study aims to identify the steps that must be taken in implementing asset management practices at PT. Integrasi Data Nusantara using the ITILv4 framework and providing recommendations regarding improvements that can be made. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews with several respondents who are involved in the implementation of asset management practices at PT. Integrasi Data Nusantara. The author then makes a GAP analysis which will be used as a reference for the implementation of ITILv4 IT Asset Management practices. Based on the results of the questionnaire that has been carried out, the researcher found that the implementation that has been carried out has produced positive results for IT asset management at PT. IDN. This is shown by the results of a survey using a Likert scale which has an average value of 4 on a Likert scale of 1-5.

Abstract

As technology develops, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, many new systems and programs are created with artificial intelligence, one of which is the field of computer vision, namely the detection of objects ranging from transportation, humans, masks, animals, and even firearms detection systems. However, this system still has deficiencies in the level of accuracy when complex conditions such as lighting and others. Currently firearms detection systems use datasets in the form of photos of real weapons, rarely or even no one uses other datasets such as games or animations to determine the performance of the detection system. This study aims to determine the performance of the firearms detection and classification system by experimenting with objects from an animation with a public dataset from the website www.imfdb.org/Black_Lagoon as well as several scenes from other animations and also an animation entitled Black Lagoon, then optimization is carried out.with the DeepSORT algorithm and Kalman Filter assisted by the YOLOv3 detection system, several percentage values were obtained such as a mAP value of 82.13%, 81.19% precision, and 78.53% recall in the training dataset using 100 iterations of epochs, and in the training model got a loss value of 8.27% and 6.67% for the val_loss value using 50 iterations of epochs.

Abstract

The research applies the Naive Bayes method to determine the best-selling products at PT Joynare Mitra Teknologi. The contribution of this research is to provide a reference for other companies interested in using similar techniques to analyze their product data. Testing was carried out by processing data using Microsoft Excel and RapidMiner, with training and testing data. The test results show that the Naive Bayes method can classify best-selling products with a high level of accuracy, reaching 87.00%. Apart from that, the resulting precision reached 72.41%, and recall was 80.77%. The best-selling products in hardware sales such as motherboards, CPUs, RAM, hard disks, SSD, and printers can be identified through data analysis. The conclusion from the research is that the Naive Bayes method is very appropriate to use to optimize sales strategies for hardware products based on customer preferences.

Abstract

Utilizing limited space to be more functional and aesthetic, such as adding furniture or using it as gardening space, can be achieved through effective room mapping. However, manual mapping methods have limitations such as inaccurate measurements, time efficiency, and also lack of room visualization. In this modern era, robotics technology has been widely applied in everyday life, one of which is the use of LiDAR sensors for room mapping. This paper discusses a room mapping system using a mobile application that utilizes LiDAR sensors. The mapping process is carried out by scanning the area to be mapped and rotating the area 360 degrees. The result of this mapping is a scanned 3D model of the room, which allows measurements from every side of the room. Research shows that the mapping results from the software created are similar in shape to actual field conditions. In addition, the measurement accuracy only has a small difference of 0.2%. It is hoped that this research can make it easier for humans to map rooms and make better use of limited space.

Abstract

The incidence of brain tumors in Indonesia continues to rise annually, affecting both adults and children. Therefore, an effective detection system is required to differentiate MRI images showing the presence of brain tumors from those that do not. This distinction is crucial in the analysis and diagnosis of medical images. This study aims to optimize brain tumor detection in digital images by combining the Adaptive Multiscale Retinex (AMSR) method with the YOLOv10 algorithm. AMSR enhances the quality and contrast of brain images, making critical details more visible. The method adjusts the scale and intensity of image lighting to address uneven illumination and improve the visibility of brain structures. YOLOv10 is recognized for its speed and accuracy in real-time object detection. This algorithm employs deep learning techniques to identify and classify objects with high precision on enhanced brain image datasets. The model's performance was evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and computation time. Results indicate that the combination of AMSR and YOLOv10 improves the accuracy and efficiency of brain tumor detection compared to conventional methods. The YOLOv10 model achieved a detection accuracy of 92%. This study provides significant contributions to early brain tumor detection technology, with important implications for the healthcare sector.

Abstract

The planning and management of school infrastructure are critical for ensuring the effective delivery of educational services. This study explores the application of Enterprise Architecture (EA) using the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) to improve the management of infrastructure at SMK IDN, an IT-focused boarding school. The research involves identifying current issues with the manual system used for infrastructure management, collecting data through observations, interviews, and document analysis, and developing a comprehensive information system that integrates and automates these processes. The TOGAF-ADM framework is employed to map the required architectural solutions, including business, application, and technology architectures. Implementation of this system aims to enhance efficiency, data consistency, and ease of asset tracking. The expected outcome is a robust, integrated information system that supports better infrastructure management, aligning with the school's mission to provide high-quality, technologically advanced education.

Abstract

Badminton is one of the most popular sports in Indonesia. In fact, Indonesia often wins various badminton competitions at the international level. Many people enjoy playing badminton, but many of them do not know whether their shots are good or whether they understand the basic techniques of badminton correctly. Additionally, many of them want to improve their skills but do not have enough time to train with a professional coach. This research aims to develop a badminton training monitoring system based on AI Vision technology using the Swift programming language. This system is expected to help badminton players evaluate and improve the quality of their shots independently. The main focus of this research is to optimize computational accuracy by using the Optical Flow algorithm to track the movement of the shuttlecock during training. In developing this system, the Optical Flow algorithm is used to analyze the shuttlecock's trajectory and its drop points. The results of this research show that testing 20 shots using shuttlecock trajectory can be accurately detected by the system with an accuracy of 97.22%. Meanwhile, the system's accuracy in tracking the placement of the shuttlecock in the opponent's service area is 94.50%.

Abstract

In this modern era, many Islamic boarding schools have built their own Health Units. However, often these units only function as an effort to prevent and overcome student health problems in general. The more students there are in an Islamic boarding school, the more important it is for the Health Unit in the Islamic boarding school to innovate to improve the quality of its services. The concept of designing this information system refers to the activity of processing student medical record data that occurs in the Health Unit which is still manual, so a website-based medical record information system is needed at the IDN Jonggol Islamic boarding school which is computerized to solve this problem. This research aims to produce a software application that is expected to help the Health Unit in processing student data collection which can make it easier to search and make reports. To support this research, data collection methods are carried out using observation, interviewing, literature study, analysis, and design system, building the system, testing, and implementing the system. The implementation of the medical record information system at the IDN Jonggol Islamic boarding school has succeeded in increasing the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of student health data, providing convenience in making reports, and supporting improvements in the quality of health services

Abstract

Rukun Tetangga/Community Association, hereinafter abbreviated as RT/RW, is an institution formed through RT/RW deliberations which has an important role in maintaining and preserving community values based on cooperation and kinship; expediting the implementation of government duties in the field of rural or urban and community development, as well as empowering all government organizations and the business world to improve community welfare. Therefore, RT/RW must provide good services to their citizens to create a conducive society. People need services at any time, but these services can only be provided to residents in the afternoon or on holidays because RT/RW administrators have personal interests. Currently, the quality of public services provided by government institutions is still not optimal, services to the community are not running optimally. This problem can be overcome by building a mobile-based citizen information system that is capable of being a communication medium between residents and RT/RW administrators. Through the use of mobile technology, citizen information systems enable citizens to quickly access information related to community activities, important announcements, and public services available around them. This application also makes it easier for residents to report problems or community needs directly through an integrated reporting feature. Thus, it is hoped that the adoption of this technology can have a positive impact in improving the quality of life and strengthening the social ties of local communities. This application aims to make it easier to get information about activities/events or other necessary information, as well as make it easier to make reports or complaints in the form of a mobile application.
