Abstract

The current research aimed to uncover the use of the descriptive qualitative method in Korean linguistic studies, with the main objective of investigating how this method is applied in such research. This study is not merely theoretical but also practical, as it provides guidelines for conducting research in Korean linguistics using descriptive qualitative approaches. The objects of this study were scholarly articles and relevant books, as well as previous research reports selected through purposive sampling, analyzed using a qualitative approach with a library research method and documentation techniques for data collection. The findings reveal six stages in conducting Korean linguistic research with descriptive qualitative methods: problem identification, literature review, determining research objectives, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting of findings. Furthermore, data analysis involves four essential steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Although the descriptive qualitative method proves beneficial for research in Korean linguistics, it still presents challenges, particularly the potential subjectivity of researchers during data interpretation. Therefore, this research suggests that future studies should be supported by alternative perspectives, such as quantitative methods or a mixed-methods approach that combines both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in linguistic research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena kurangnya rasa saling menghargai dan bertoleransi pada siswa terutama dengan teman sebaya yang berbeda latar belakang agama akibat dari adanya pembelajaran jarak jauh saat pandemi Covid-19, maka dari itu peran guru ilmu pengetahuan sosial sangat diperlukan untuk menguatkan sikap pluralisme siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran guru ilmu pengetahuan sosial dalam penguatan sikap pluralisme siswa, faktor apa saja yang mendukung bagimana peran guru ilmu pengetahuan sosial, dan faktor apa yang menghambat hal tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Kediri. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru telah cukup baik dalam mendidik dan memotivasi siswa guna menguatkan sikap pluralisme. Terdapat beberapa hal yang dilakukan oleh guru ilmu pengetahuan sosial agar terbentuk sikap saling menghargai dan toleransi antarsiswa. Hal ini juga didukung oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif agar siswa dapat secara langsung belajar bagaimana bersikap pluralisme. Akan tetapi disamping itu terdapat faktor penghambat guru ilmu pengetahuan sosial dalam penguatan sikap pluralisme, diantaranya jam belajar yang terbatas akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang masih terjadi di Indonesia dan hal ini membuat kegiatan pada sektor pendidikan masih sangat terbatas.

Abstract

Background: The reconstruction of the Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum is essential in responding to the changes brought by the digital era. Purpose: This article proposes a deep learning–based curriculum management model for Islamic education as a form of digital transformation within Islamic educational institutions. The approach emphasizes the development of deep understanding, spiritual reflection, and the integration of Islamic values into all aspects of the curriculum. Method: The research employs a conceptual-theoretical (library research) approach with a comparative analysis of literature on curriculum management, deep learning theory, and best practices in contemporary Islamic education. Result: The findings reveal key components of deep learning–based curriculum management, including adaptive curriculum design, data-driven teacher training, longitudinal evaluation, and managerial-technological synergy. Conclusion: Practical recommendations are directed toward transforming curriculum policies in madrasahs and Islamic schools.

Abstract

Garunggung Islamic Boarding School in Karawang faces significant challenges in providing access to the study of Nahwu and Sharaf for visually impaired students due to the absence of classical Islamic texts in Braille format. Situation analysis revealed limited learning materials, lack of teacher training, and low student independence as the main problems. A community service program introducing the Jurumiyah Braille Module was implemented by producing the Jurumiyah text in Braille, training teachers in inclusive teaching methods, and providing supporting technology such as Braille printers. The results show improved literacy in Nahwu and Sharaf, increased student independence, and enhanced teacher capacity in Braille-based instruction. This program demonstrates that combining technological innovation, teacher training, and mentoring can create inclusive and equitable religious education for visually impaired students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This research analyses the economic significance of the Siraman ritual at Sedudo Waterfall, Nganjuk, as a form of tourism based on local wisdom. The Siraman tradition, which is held every month of Suro, not only has spiritual and cultural significance, but also serves as an economic space that fosters social interaction and empowerment of the surrounding community. The purpose is to understand the contribution of this ritual to the local economy while preserving cultural values and Islamic ethics. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach, through field observations, interviews with community leaders and local traders, and documentation. The results show the Siraman tradition is not only a religious and cultural celebration but also encourages economic empowerment through culinary trade, accommodation services, and tourism services. The conclusion is Siraman ritual represents a synergy between spiritual devotion, cultural preservation, and inclusive economic growth rooted in global love and harmony

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pelaporan keuangan adaptif yang terintegrasi dengan rantai pasok pada UMKM Batik di Kota Jambi menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking. Latar belakang penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar UMKM masih menggunakan pencatatan manual untuk mengelola persediaan, pemasok, dan laporan keuangan, sehingga menyebabkan keterlambatan laporan, rendahnya akurasi data, dan ketidakterpaduan informasi antarbagian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan lima tahapan Design Thinking yaitu empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solusi berupa sistem pencatatan digital sederhana berbasis Excel mampu mengintegrasikan data supplier, stok, penjualan, dan laporan keuangan. Uji coba selama satu bulan pada dua UMKM Batik menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu penyusunan laporan dari sembilan hari menjadi lima hari, peningkatan akurasi data stok dari 12% menjadi 7%, serta peningkatan keterpaduan informasi antarbagian. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan Design Thinking efektif untuk membantu UMKM bertransformasi digital secara bertahap dan meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan keuangan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan relevan bagi pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

Children’s numeracy skills significantly influence their readiness to enter primary school. However, teachingnumeracy to children in concrete periods is still a big challenge for teachers. Moreover, technologybasedlearning media must still be considered appropriate for early introduction. This research aims todevelop an interactive digital learning media to improve early childhood numeracy skills. This Researchand Development (RD) method used the 4-D model, which consists of Defining, Designing, Developing,and Disseminating. Expert validators who test the feasibility of the product consist of material, media, andlanguage experts. Respondents in this study were ten children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Nurul Aisyah, EastAceh. The results showed that this digital game is feasible as a learning media to improve early childhoodnumeracy skills. The average validator score for product feasibility is in the very good category, andchildren’s numeracy skills are in the good category. With this learning media, "Numb Game," childrenlearn the concepts of counting, grouping, and simple statistics. Through an interactive approach, thedevelopment of Numb Game media can stimulate children’s engagement in the numeracy learning processby utilizing visual elements, games, and interactions that stimulate curiosity and desire to understandmathematical concepts. Therefore, this interactive digital learning media presents an interesting, adaptive,and effective learning experience according to children’s needs in improving numeracy skills at an earlyage. Further research on the long-term effects of using digital learning media on the development of earlychildhood numeracy skills and the implications for their academic achievement is warranted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pembahasan pada hubungan bilateral yang terjalin antara Arab Saudi dan Israel dengan menggunakan perspektif bandwagoning. Sebagai negara yang mayoritas beragama Islam, dalam tatanan politik internasional, Arab Saudi sudah seharusnya menjaga jarak dengan Israel karena tindakannya yang tergolong kooperatif dengan Israel sangat bertentangan dengan ideologi negara tersebut. Di sisi lain, fenomena kedekatan hubungan bilateral antara Arab Saudi dan Israel terjadi ketika hubungan antara Arab Saudi dan Iran terbilang memanas. Iran sendiri merupakan salah satu aktor internasional yang memiliki pengaruh besar di kawasan Timur Tengah khususnya bagi Arab Saudi. Di tengah konflik ideologi dan geopolitik yang terjadi antara Arab Saudi dan Iran, sikap kooperatif Arab Saudi terhadap Israel pada dasarnya merupakan upaya untuk menyeimbangkan kekuatan sekaligus menghindari ancaman dari Iran. Dengan menggunakan teori bandwagoning, sikap Arab Saudi untuk dapat bertahan dalam sistem internasional yaitu dengan cara berlindung atau mengekor negara lain yang lebih kuat setidaknya dapat dipahami dengan jelas. Selain itu, penulis juga mencoba menjelaskan alasan mengapa Arab Saudi menjadikan Israel sebagai negara banwagoning dengan membandingkan kekuatan Israel dan Iran dalam sistem internasional.

Abstract

Introduction: The 2020 annual report of the National Commission on Violence Against Women confirmed at least 34 cases related to domestic workers throughout 2019. Meanwhile, documentation of these cases by the National Network for Domestic Workers Advocacy (JALA PRT) states that between 2012 and 2019, there were more than 3,219 cases experienced by domestic workers, including psychological abuse (isolation and confinement), physical abuse, economic abuse (withholding of personal documents, unpaid wages, sick pay, unpaid holiday pay), and human trafficking.  Meanwhile, from 2017 to 2022, at least 2,673 cases of violence experienced by domestic workers did not decrease but instead increased. Therefore, the role of the ILO in Indonesia is quite important in preventing the continuation of this problem.Purposes of the Research: This study aims to determine and analyze the extent of legal protection for domestic workers provided by the Indonesian government and the role of the ILO (International Labor Organization) as an international organization that collaborates with the government, employers, and non-governmental organizations.Methods of the Research: This research uses a normative-empirical legal research method, which functions as a study of normative-empirical legal issues in the form of legal behavior products. Normative-empirical studies focus on the application of applicable legal provisions to every legal event that occurs in society to achieve that goal. This research begins with the applicable legal provisions in written form for each legal event in society, thus combining two stages of study. The first stage examines the applicable normative laws, and the next stage applies these laws to events that occur in society in order to achieve the selected objectives. Based on the above explanation, this research requires primary and secondary data.Results of the Research: The ILO, as the representative of the International Labor Organization, has done a lot to oversee and encourage the ratification of domestic worker protection and the immediate passing of the PPRT Bill. In this case, various projects have been carried out by the ILO to facilitate the realization of protection for domestic workers, one of which is by inviting cooperation with various groups from NGOs, employers, and the government. This includes providing socialization and training for domestic workers by inviting cooperation with JALA PRT. JALA PRT also has domestic worker schools in several major cities that provide education to domestic workers regarding the rights and obligations they should receive.
