Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Cartesian Plane learning media based on the Gobak Sodor game on the coordinate point material for sixth grade students of SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation results show an average percentage of 89%, categorized as very feasible. The practicality aspect obtained a score of 92%, which indicates that the media is easy to use by teachers and students and supports conducive learning. This media presents concrete and interactive visualizations of the concept of coordinate points through game activities, helping students understand the position of points on the Cartesian plane more meaningfully. The effectiveness test was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, with the average score increasing from 38.25% to 81.85%. The N-Gain calculation result of 0.6643 is included in the fairly high category. Based on these results, the learning media is declared valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. Thus, this media has the potential to be applied more widely and developed in other educational materials and levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis wordwall Pada Materi Budaya Daerah di SD Negeri 107398 Sei Rotan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan diantaranya, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah validator ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi Pendidikan yaitu guru serta 28 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 107398 Sei Rotan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah instrumen wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis wordwall “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan nilai skor kelayakan yang diberikan oleh validator ahli media dengan 93%   termasuk kategori “Sangat Layak”. Skor nilai kelayakan oleh validator ahli materi 97% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Uji Praktikalitas yang dilakukan oleh praktisi Pendidikan memproleh hasil skor nilai kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 98% berkategori “Sangat praktis”. Keefektifan media wordwall dari hasil pre-test dan post-test peserta didik berdasarkan hasil analisis N-Gain memperoleh skor rata-rata N-Gain % sebesar 80,20 dengan kategori “Efektif”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis wordwall pada mata Pelajaran IPAS Sangat Layak, Sangat Praktis dan Efektif digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validasi kelayakan, praktikalitas dan efektivitas media pembelajaran diorama media tanam kokedama sabut kelapa pada mata Pelajaran IPAS materi Kerusakan Lingkungan di kelas V SD HKBP Pagar Jati. Jenis penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri 5 tahap yaitu Analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 21 siswa kelas V SD HKBP Pagar Jati. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara serta tes dengan memakai analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penilaian validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan persentase sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian validasi ahli media menunjukkan persentase sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat layak dan penilaian validasi ahli praktisi sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Efekktivitas media dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa melalui pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan N-Gain Score dengan persentase sebesar 58,94 % dengan kategori Efektif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran diorama media tanam kokedama sabut kelapa pada materi Kerusakan Lingkungan sangat layak, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design and evaluate the feasibility, usability, and effectiveness of the SIKMAHI (Life Cycle of Living Things) learning media as a tool for teaching IPAS to third-grade elementary school students. The background of this study stems from the low level of students’ interest and learning outcomes related to the topic of life cycles, which is caused by monotonous teaching methods and the limited use of concrete learning media. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 18 third-grade students at SDN 060857 Durung. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests (pretest and posttest). Validation results from subject matter experts, media experts, and teachers indicated that the SIKMAHI media is highly feasible for use. Usability testing showed that teachers found the media easy and engaging to apply in the learning process. Furthermore, the pretest and posttest results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. In conclusion, the SIKMAHI learning media is effective for use in IPAS learning, particularly for the topic of life cycles of living things. This media is able to enhance students’ understanding, increase learning interest, and encourage active participation in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using the Let’s Read media on reading comprehension skills among fourth-grade students in the Indonesian Language subject at SDN 101777 Saentis for the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design method, specifically a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study consists of all fourth-grade students divided into two classes, namely class IV-A as the experimental class and class IV-B as the control class, each with 16 students, resulting in a total sample of 32 students. The research instrument used was a test in the form of essay questions consisting of 10 questions for the pre-test and 10 questions for the post-test. The results of the data analysis showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 85, higher than the control class at 68.75. Based on the t-test results, the calculated tvalue was 5.439 and the  ttable Value was 2.042 at a significance level (Sig.) of 0.05, thus H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Let’s Read media has a significant effect on the reading comprehension ability of fourth-grade students in the Indonesian language subject, narrative text material, at SDN 101777 Saentis for the 2025/2026 academic year.
