ishermen are one part of the community members who have the lowest level of welfare. The COVID-19 pandemic is an event that causes the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 around the world. The pandemic has caused global socio-economic disruption, the postponement or cancellation of sporting and cultural events, and widespread concern about stock shortages driving panic buying. A household is said to have food security if its inhabitants are not in a state of hunger or feel threatened by hunger. The linkages between the lives of coastal communities and fishermen in Lampung Province are quite concerning, coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic requiring special treatment to improve their welfare and standard of living, one of which is by increasing food security for coastal communities and fishermen. The most appropriate effort is to carry out a post-COVID-19 Pandemic Food Security Strategy modeling for Coastal Community and Fisherman Households in Lampung Province. The research was carried out from April to September 2022 in Labuhan Maringai subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. Sampling was done purposively. The data collected from the survey results have been analyzed statistically descriptive and inferential. The level of food security for the respondent's family is in the moderate category, meaning that the respondent can provide, reach and use it quite well but not optimally. The community has not been able to ensure that the food security component can run consistently at any time. This happens because the income of fishing households is very unpredictable, this can also determine the ability of the family to provide food. The influence of the education level of a housewife has an indirect effect through her nutritional knowledge. Food knowledge has a more direct influence on food security, meaning that the knowledge of housewives related to food is the basis for action in realizing food security at the family level.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja penyuluh pertanian tanaman kopi Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa Kecamatan Sekincau merupakan sentra produksi kopi di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 78 petani kopi. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja penyuluhan pertanian di Kecamatan Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat menurut penilaian petani yang diukur dengan indikator persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penyuluhan dalam kategori baik. Kinerja penyuluh pertanian dapat ditingkatkan menjadi sangat baik jika penyuluh pertanian lebih melibatkan semua anggota kelompok tani dalam penyusunan RDKK, penyuluh juga dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya dengan meningkatkan penyuluhan menggunakan metode kursus, temu usaha, temu teknik dan temu karya, selain itu penyuluh dapat memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi dalam penyuluhan. This research aims to determine the perception of rice farmers on the Billing System program, the factors related to the farmers' perceptions of the Billing System program. This research was conducted in Candipuro District, South Lampung Regency. The research location was chosen purposively with the consideration that Candipuro District was the first sub-district to implement the Billing System program. This study used a survey method and obtained a sample of 30 rice farmers. Data analysis in this research was carried out by descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The results showed that rice farmers' perceptions of the Billing System program were classified as moderate, which with the program, farmers felt that there wasn't a delay in the distribution of fertilizers, the number of fertilizer needs fulfilling, the existence of this program made farmers being proactive in groups, and with the program very influential in increasing production yields and increasing farmers' income. Factors related to farmers' perceptions are the level of knowledge (X₂) and level of motivation (X₃), while the level of education (X₁), length of farming (X₄), and land area (X₅) are not related.

This study aims to find out the level of behavior of rice crop farmers and factors related to farmers' adaptation behavior to climate change in Rantau Fajar Village, North Raman Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. The study was conducted in August-September 2021. The respondents numbered 84 farmers, who were obtained by random sampling. The study used survey methods with a quantitative descriptive approach, and was analyzed using spearman rank correlation tests. The results of this study show that the behavior of farmers' adaptation in the face of climate change is in a high category, which is seen based on the level of knowledge and attitudes of farmers who have understood climate conditions, although in the skills of farmers there is still a need for an increase in behavior. Factors related to farmers' adaptation behavior to climate change are: Long-Standing Farming, Farmer's Crowing Level, Extension Support, Government Support, and Farmer Group Support. Wanita memiliki peranan dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarganya, yaitu sebagai pencari nafkah dengan bekerja pada sektor perikanan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiperanan wanita dalam produksi di agroindustri ikan asin dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan peranan wanita di agroindustri ikan asin. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pulau Pasaran, Kelurahan Kota Karang, Kecamatan Teluk Betung Timur, Kota Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2022.Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 62 pekerja wanita agroindustri ikan asin.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei dan data dianalisa secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan wanita pada produksi agroindustri ikan asin di Pulau Pasaran adalah pada kegiatan penyortiran dan pembelahan ikan.Faktor-faktor yang meliputi motivasi bekerja dan jumlah anggota keluarga berhubungan nyata dengan peranan wanita di agroindustri ikan asin, sedangkan faktor-faktor yang meliputi umur dan tingkat pendidikan formal tidak berhubungan nyata dengan peranan wanita di agrondustri ikan asin.

The role of the Independent Agricultural and Rural Training Center (P4S) is to conduct training and assistance for people who want to learn in the field of superior farming developed by each P4S Institution. P4S has an important role in empowering farmers by providing technical knowledge, access to markets and financial support. The role of P4S is inseparable from internal and external factors of the Institution, so this study aims to determine the factors related to the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. Internal factors of the Institution are the system of institutional governance, cooperation and partnership, institutional capacity, and management of the Institution. External factors of the Institution are the number of assisted farmers and the reward system. The research was conducted from October to November 2022. The respondents in this study were 70 people who helped farmers assisted by P4S in East Lampung Regency. Data was collected through interview techniques with semi-structured questionnaires—data analysis using path analysis PLS (Partial Least Square) with SmartPLS. The results of this study show that the institutional governance system, institutional capacity, institutional management, and reward system are related to the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. Institutional governance system, cooperation, and partnerships, the role of P4S associated with the level of empowerment of assisted farmers P4S in East Lampung Regency. Institutional governance system related to direct and indirect empowerment of assisted farmers through the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. The Institution's governance system was found to be the most important factor related to the role of P4S. A good institutional governance system can help P4S become more effective and efficient in providing training, counselling and assistance to farmers.

ABSTRACT Motivation is an impulse that arises in a person consciously or unconsciously to carry out an action with a specific purpose. This study aims to determine the level of youth motivation to work in the agricultural sector and the factors related to youth motivation to work in the agricultural sector and this research was conducted in Gedong Tataan District. The research method used was a survey method with a population of 100 young farmers. Based on the total population of young farmers, the total sample size was determined using the Frank Lynch formula (Sugiarto, 2003), so that a total sample of 43 respondents was obtained. The results showed that the level of motivation of young farmers in working in the agricultural sector in Bernung Village and Taman Sari was in the high category, this was evidenced by the fulfillment of physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs. Factors related to the motivation of young farmers to work in the agricultural sector are land area variable (X2), land ownership status variable (X3), experience variable (X5) and assistance variable (X6). Factors that are not related to the motivation of young farmers to work in the agricultural sector include education variables (X1), distance to residence (X4) and non-formal education variables (X7). The objectives of this research are to find out level of cocoa farmers’ perception toward cocoa farming Integrated Pest Management Field School (SL-PHT) program in increaseing cocoa productivity and farm income and factors related to cocoa farmers’ perception toward SL-PHT program in increaseing cocoa productivity and farm income. This research was conducted in Sukoharjo 1 Village as one of villages where the cocoa SL-PHT program took place. This study was held in August until October 2013. Twenty-six farmers as respondents were selected by using a census method. Analysis methods used in this research are descriptive and Rank Spearman’s correlation. The results showed that the level of cocoa farmers’ perception toward SL-PHT program was in a good classification, and cocoa SL-PHT program was beneficial in increasing productivity, income, and pest disease control of cocoa plants, the level of farming experience, level of farming knowledge, and level of farmers’ social interaction had a correlation to the level of cocoa farmers’ perception toward SL-PHT program in increasing cocoa productivity and farm income. Whereas, level of farmers’ living need fulfillment had no correlation to the level of cocoa farmers’ perception toward SL-PHT program. Keywords: cocoa, perception, productivity, SL-PHT, farmers

Enhancing students' critical and creative thinking skills is a crucial objective in education. Numerous studies have explored effective teaching methods to foster these skills, with models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the STEM-5E Learning Cycle, and the 7E Learning Cycle showing significant promise. This study aims to develop and validate a worksheet designed to enhance critical and creative thinking in elementary school students using the 7E Learning Cycle, following the ADDIE instructional design model. The study was conducted with fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Pasir Gintung, Lampung province of Indonesia, with two classes serving as the sample: Class IV A as the experimental group and Class IV B as the control group. Product validation indicated a high level of effectiveness, with a material average score of 0.833, a language component score of 0.693, and a media aspect score of 0.917. The test tool, validated as part of the research product, achieved an average score of 0.733. Instructor feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with a 98% approval rate, while student feedback indicated a 94% satisfaction rate, both underscoring the product's practical value. Post-test results from the experimental group demonstrated a significant improvement in critical and creative thinking skills, with an average score of 89.49, markedly higher than the control group. These findings provide empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of the 7E Learning Cycle in enhancing critical and creative thinking through the use of the developed worksheet in educational settings.

Kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian merupakan upaya untuk dapat mengubah sikap, pengetahuan, dan perilaku petani. Pengembangan kemampuan petani dapat dilakukan melalui komunikasi yang efektif terhadap kelompok tani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) dan menganalisis hubungan antara pola komunikasi PPL dan efektivitas kelompok tani. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi dengan metode Rank Kendall’s-tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa PPL di Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Lampung Utara menerapkan komunikasi dengan pola satu arah, dua arah dan multi arah. Pola komunikasi dua arah merupakan pola yang paling efektif diantara PPL dan kelompok tani di Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Hasil pengujian hipotesis rank Kendall’s-tau menunjukkan terdapat hubungan nyata antara pola komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh PPL dengan efektivitas kelompok tani di Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Efektivitas kelompok tani dan komunikasi penyuluh memiliki hubungan yang erat dan saling mempengaruhi. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pola komunikasi dua arah dan multi arah yang didukung dengan peningkatan frekuensi dan intensitas penyuluhan menjadi kunci dalam mencapai efektivitas kelompoktani.
