Abstract

Atopic eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition characterized by itchy, red, and swollen skin. It is often associated with other atopic diseases such as asthma and hay fever. Interleukin-17 (IL-17), a pro-inflammatory cytokine, plays a crucial role in various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including atopic eczema. This study aims to identify potential therapeutic targets for managing atopic eczema based on the analysis of differentially expressed genes (DEGs). The expression of these gene targets was subsequently validated for their potential as biomarkers. Additionally, upstream regulator protein (URP) searches for the resulting DEGs were conducted. DEG analysis of the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) dataset, GSE6012 (atopic eczema vs. healthy donor skin), revealed that genes related to IL-17 signaling—FOSL1, MMP1, DEFB4B, S100A7, S100A8, and S100A9—can serve as biomarkers for atopic eczema with sensitivity and specificity values of 1.000. URP analysis suggested that inhibition of IL1A and NOG, as well as TGFB1 activity, are potential therapeutic targets to downregulate these six DEGs, thereby restoring their expression to the levels observed in healthy skin.

Abstract

Jamu Gendong is a traditional drink that has the potential to be contaminated with worms, parasites, bacteria, fungi, viruses and rickettsia. Sources of contaminants include materials, equipment, facilities, personnel, animals and production environments, so their efficacy is questionable. The activity was carried out in the form of providing information on the implementation of sanitation and hygienic production to 38 Jamu Gendong traders in Tebing Tinggi City, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The material was delivered using illustrated power point media to facilitate the delivery of increased understanding of sanitation and hygiene, including objectives, benefits, programs, fixed procedures, disinfectant and washing materials as well as documentation in accordance with RI POM Regulation Number 31, 2022. Activities were carried out on April 29, 2024 and received positive responses from all participants. Activities are expected to be sustainable so that the Jamu Gendong produced is of higher quality.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan evaluasi berorientasi kompetensi dalam konteks pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MTsN 1 Kota Bima dirancang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan berfokus pada penilaian komprehensif kompetensi siswa, yang mencakup dimensi moral dan etika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian studi kasus, analisis deskriptif merupakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Analisis deskriptif merupakan jenis penelitian langsung yang mengamati gejala atau fenomena tertentu yang ada di dunia nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses ini  digambarkan menjadi tiga fase yang berbeda yakni perencanaan strategis, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian, di mana guru menyusun modul pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum mandiri. Terlepas dari hambatan yang dihadapi selama pelaksanaannya, termasuk keterbatasan temporal dan pemilihan kegiatan yang terbatas, asesmen ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan baik bagi akademisi dengan memberikan umpan balik yang membangun bagi guru dan peserta didik maupun bagi masyarakat luas dengan mencetak generasi yang lebih bermoral dan memiliki kapasitas untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dalam keberadaanya sehari-hari. Akibatnya, asesmen berbasis kompetensi diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi peningkatan moral peserta didik dan relevansi pendidikan agama dalam konteks modern.

Abstract

This service activity program is carried out with the aim of increasing competitiveness and expanding the marketing of superior products produced by the Malang State Polytechnic to partner villages and Polinema entrepreneurial students. This is done by providing encouragement and motivation to increase productivity through efforts to expand the marketing network. Assistance to PKM partners is provided in the form of knowledge, skills and best practices to market products as typical Polinema souvenirs. This service program is carried out together with DUWET partner villages, Tumpang sub-district, Malang district and the Malang State Polytechnic ETU Business Incubator. Apart from that, assistance and marketing access are also provided in order to increase the potential empowerment of village areas and increase business productivity so as to encourage improvements in the welfare of village communities and student businesses. The problem currently faced by partners is that partners (assisted village residents and entrepreneurial students of the ETU Polinema business incubator tenants) have production results in the form of processed products and handicraft products as well as creative industries that have the opportunity to be marketed, however, the trained partners have not been able to maximize their potential. So that superior products cannot be marketed optimally, they do not have sales access to market the resulting products to become superior products. Meanwhile, Malang State Polytechnic partners do not yet have superior products as souvenirs that Polinema colleagues can bring as typical Polinema products. The fostered partners do not yet have a good understanding of village economic development (Rural Economic Development) as an effort to improve the welfare of village communities and young Polinema entrepreneurial tenants through business development and exploiting market opportunities. Understanding the importance of packaging not only as product protection, but also as branding and product promotion media. It is hoped that good packaging will increase the value of the product to be sold.  The solution offered is to map superior products that are suitable and ready to be widely marketed as souvenirs from Polinema, design a product catalog from the mapping, design product packaging dosages as typical souvenirs from Polinema, and provide additional knowledge about the importance of optimizing product packaging. as well as marketing access for Polinema's fostered partners at events/activities held on the Malang State Polytechnic campus as well as ready stock product displays as souvenirs from Polinema.  Keywords: Community Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship, Packaging Optimization, competitiveness.

Abstract

Torjun village that located on the Sampang, Madura island was one of the village that very close to the beach. This village was also a fishing area because 95% of the population, especially men, lived by "majeng" (or as fishermen). Meanwhile, the wife of the fishermens was only became housewives. The problem that usually arises in fishermen's daily activities was the highly-needs for family life that wasn’t inapropriate with the income level from fishing, so that they must seeking any opportunities that could improve their income. Therefore, they was also needs special skills that can increase income for fishermen's wives. From that problems, we will give a training in making meatballs and nuggets from fish. This activity also received a high enthusiasm from the participants. This enthusiasm was proven by the completeness of the 20 participants that were listened to the discussion. All of participants were active from the beginning until the end of the section. As the PKM groups, we were concluded that all participants were able to practice the results of the training by being able to made fish balls and fish nuggets that made from tuna and mackerel fish.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu penyakit dengan kadar gula (glukosa) di dalam darah tinggi karena tubuh tidak dapat melepaskan atau menggunakan insulin secara efektif. Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha kunth) mempunyai aktivitas farmakologi sebagai antidiabetes melitus. Pengobatan yang paling umum untuk diabetes melitus adalah dengan menghambat enzim α-glukosidase. Enzim α-glukosidase adalah salah satu enzim yang berperan dalam mengubah oligosakarida dan disakarida menjadi glukosa yang dapat diserap oleh usus halus sehingga menyebabkan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah. Penghambat α-glukosidase digambarkan sebagai yang paling efektif dalam mengurangi hiperglikemia pasca-prandial (PPHG) dari semua obat antidiabetes melitus. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui afinitas dan interaksi molekuler senyawa kimia herba Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha kunth) sebagai inhibitor enzim α-glukosidase berdasarkan metode moleculer docking secara in silico.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan secara in silico dengan menggunakan metode molecular docking (penambatan molekul). Populasi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua struktur senyawa 3D diperoleh dari penelusuran situs KNApSAcK 3D. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu struktur 3D senyawa kimia yang terkandung dalam herba Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha kunth). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 8 senyawa kimia yang terkandung dalam herba Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha kunth) terdapat 1 senyawa kimia yang memiliki nilai afinitas yang paling baik terhadap reseptor α-glukosidase secara in silico yaitu senyawa mimopudine memiliki nilai afinitas -7.90 Kkal/mol lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan native ligand nya yaitu 7.86 Kkal/mol. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan yaitu molecular dynamic untuk mengetahui aktivitas senyawa kimia herba yang terkandung dalam herba Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha kunth) sebagai inhibitor reseptor α–glukosidase

Abstract

This article aims to examine the cultural and political roles in Islamic education. The research adopts a library research approach by reviewing various sources such as books, journals, theses, and other publications. Data collection is conducted through document analysis, with data sources obtained from the internet, Google Scholar, and Google Browser. The data analysis in this article refers to the method proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that: 1) The cultural functions of Islamic education include: a) Preservation of Islamic culture, b) Enhancement of Islamic literacy, c) Development of religious character. 2) The political functions of Islamic education include: a) Producing leaders with Islamic character, b) Shaping Islamic political awareness, c) Inspiring Islamic governance systems, d) Encouraging political participation, e) Enhancing accountability in governance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the function of Islamic education from three main dimensions, namely ideological, social, and economic. The research method used is a literature study by collecting data from various primary and secondary literature sources, including relevant books, journals, and articles. The results show that ideologically, Islamic education plays a role in shaping beliefs, character, and morals based on monotheism. From a social perspective, Islamic education serves to instill moral values, justice, and brotherhood to build a harmonious society. Meanwhile, in economic terms, Islamic education prepares individuals to be competent, ethical, and able to contribute to the economic development of the community. Thus, Islamic education has a strategic role in shaping a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and productive, which can support the overall progress of society.

Abstract

This study discusses the objectives and scope of Islamic educational sociology, emphasizing its relevance to the process of individual personality formation and social dynamics. Islamic educational sociology is viewed as a discipline that not only studies social interactions in the context of education but also integrates Islamic ethical and spiritual values as the foundation for student development. The research method used is a literature study by examining various relevant literature, such as books, articles, and scientific journals. The results of the study show that Islamic educational sociology plays an important role in the process of socialization, analysis of social development, and the adjustment of educational institutions to changes in society, both in terms of demographics, technology, and culture. In addition, Islamic education through a sociological approach is expected to produce a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and contributes positively to social development. Thus, Islamic educational sociology not only functions as an academic tool but also as an instrument of social transformation in line with Islamic values.

Abstract

Transformasi teknologi media cetak ke media online telah mempermudah akses ke berbagai informasi berita yang ada. Sayangnya, meski mudah diakses tidak semua berita yang ada memenuhi kaidah hukum dan kode etik jurnalistik tidak terkecuali pemberitaan tentang anak. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa masih ada media online yang tidak memenuhi standar regulasi pers yang telah diatur dalam Dewan Pers Nomor 1/Peraturan-DP/II/2019, tentang Pedoman Pemberitaan Ramah Anak (PPRA) dan pasal 5 dalam kode etik jurnalistik yaitu dengan memproduksi berita tidak ramah anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Pers Tanggungjawab Sosial dan teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan studi pustaka. Dengan menganalisis dua berita pada media iNews dan Medcom.id—ditemukan pemberitaan yang tidak ramah anak dengan menyebut identitas anak—menyiarkan visual dan audio identitas atau asosiasi identitas anak dalam melengkapi informasi tentang peristiwa anak terkait persoalan hukum.
