Abstract

Introduction : Breast milk is the best food for infants because it contains many substances and protective factors that are impotant for the growth and development of infants so as to reduce infant morbidity and mortality. This contens is very complete and complex, there are hunderds of bioactive molecules that can protect babies from infectione and help in the formation of a strong immune system. Objective : This study aimsto determine whether there is an effect of holistic education on post partum mother on the success of breastfeeding at the Watampone Health Center. Research Methods : Based on the results of the research that researchers have done, the average value of knowledge in the interventioan group before being given education was 4,88, the lowest score was 3 and the highest score was 7 (total score 10), while the average score in the intervention group after education was 9.00. while the average value of knowledge in the pre test control group was 4,82, while the average value of knowledge in the post test control group was 6,29. This shows that there is an effect of providing education on changes in knowledge of post partum mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. Conclution : This study concludes that there is an increase in post pratum mother’s knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding at UPT Puskesmas Watampone after education.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian dari beberapa sumber menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) pada tahun 2011 mengenai kompetensi literasi siswa menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-42 dari 45 negara. Berdasarkan anjuran pemerintah melalui Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Nomor 23 Tahun 2015 tentang Penumbuhan Budi Pekerti luhur kepada peserta didik dengan mengembangkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Salah satu upaya pada GLS ini adalah dengan penerapan pojok baca di kelas guna menumbuhkan budaya literasi siswa. Penerapan pojok baca untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi ini dilakukan di SMPN SATAP Lenggo melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan diskusi dengan kepala sekolah dan guru di SMPN Satap Lenggo diketahui bahwa penerapan pojok baca di ruang kelas membuat siswa lebih termotivasi untuk datang ke sekolah dan telah meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Meningkatnya minat baca siswa ditunjukkan dari antusiasmi tinggi siswa dengan hadirnya pojok baca, frekuensi membaca siswa meningkat, siswa senang saat mambaca, dan kesadaran siswa akan manfaat penting dari membaca. Selain itu, beberapa indikator literasi telah terlaksana dengan penerapan pojok baca di SMPN Satap Lenggo. Hal ini terlihat dari jumlah dan variasi buku bacaan yang telah meningkat lewat pemeliharaan buku yang sebelumnya tidak terawat, frekuensi siswa membaca di pojok baca meningkat, terlaksananya berbagai aktivitas untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi, dukungan sekolah dan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pojok baca, dan digunakannnya hasil karya kreatif siswa untuk menghias ruangan kelas. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pojok baca telah mampu menumbuhkan budaya literasi di SMPN Satap Lenggo.

Abstract

Hospital waste management in Indonesia still faces obstacles, causing environmental and health impacts. A sustainable management system is needed, especially the non-medical waste processing process at the Donggala Kabelota Regional Hospital, including sorting, containerization, transportation and final processing. The type of research method used is a qualitative type aimed at describing the non-medical waste management system at the Kabelota Donggala Regional Hospital. This research was carried out through observation and interviews with six informants which were carried out from November to December 2024. The results of the research showed that from the results of interviews with 6 informants it was found that the process of sorting, storing and storing waste in temporary storage areas (TPS) did not meet the standards, while for the transportation and final processing variables it was in accordance with the standards of Minister of Health Regulation No. 7 of 2019, so that there is still a need for improvement and special attention from the hospital in terms of facilities and infrastructure as well as the non-medical waste management process starting from sorting, containerization, transportation and storage in temporary storage areas. The conclusions and suggestions from this research are that the management of non-medical waste at the Kabelota Donggala Regional Hospital for the processes of sorting, containing, storing waste in temporary storage areas (TPS) is not appropriate, while the transportation and final processing processes are appropriate. Therefore, it is recommended that hospitals further increase the capacity of human resources, especially waste management officers, as well as add and update facilities and infrastructure that support a better waste management system.

Abstract

The main problem faced in literacy among students is low interest in reading, which is triggered by limited access to interesting books, distractions from social media, and less motivating teaching methods. In addition, writing and speaking skills are also obstacles, because many students have difficulty in developing these skills due to lack of practice, minimal understanding of grammar, and limited support. This study aims to explore the strategies implemented by MTsN 1 Pidie Jaya in supporting digital literacy, including the integration of digital literacy into the curriculum and digital literacy development programs for students. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that MTsN 1 Pidie Jaya has succeeded in improving students' digital literacy through a strategy of integrating technology into the curriculum, providing access to devices, and teacher training that focuses on cybersecurity, digital ethics, and practical skills. This school is committed to continuing to improve students' digital literacy through interactive training programs and learning innovations, while addressing infrastructure and access challenges through effective collaboration. In addition, MTsN 1 Pidie Jaya also implements various effective programs to improve students' digital literacy, including special training, project-based learning approaches, gamification, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Surat kabar, sebagai media informasi yang dibaca oleh berbagai kalangan, memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan bahasa sebuah bangsa. Sementara itu, pada surat kabar daerah atau nasional yang beredar, masih ditemukan kesalahan dalam penggunaan frasa. Kesalahan pun terjadi pada koran nasional setingkat Kompas. Kesalahan tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya perhatian terhadap kaidah kebahasaan. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini dikaji tentang kesalahan penggunaan frasa pada tajuk rencana surat kabar Kompas. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode analisis isi (content analysis) yang bersifat preskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dan hermeneutik. Data penelitian bersumber dari tajuk rencana surat kabar harian Kompas yang diambil secara acak. Data yang diteliti didokumentasi dengan cara dibaca, dicatat, selanjutnya disimpulkan, dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan kesalahan yang terdapat dalam bidang frasa. Berdasarkan analisis, kesalahan penggunaan frasa pada tajuk rencana surat kabar Kompas adalah penggunaan unsur yang berlebihan atau mubazir dan penggunaan preposisi yang tidak tepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Guided Note-Taking (GNT) berbantuan media audio visual animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V di SD Inpres Minasa Upa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa akibat penerapan metode konvensional yang kurang interaktif dan terbatasnya kemampuan siswa dalam mencatat poin-poin penting selama pembelajaran. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 39 siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen sebanyak 20 siswa dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 19 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian tes pretest dan posttest kepada kedua kelompok. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t (independent samples t-test) dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan strategi GNT berbantuan media audio visual animasi. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 58,75 menjadi 85,40, sedangkan kelas kontrol dari 56,90 menjadi 73,20. Nilai signifikansi p = 0,001 (p < 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa strategi GNT efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menyarankan integrasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of Nitrogen and phosphorus on the vegetative growth of red chili plants. The research method was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Merdeka University, Surabaya. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors and three plant replications. The results showed a significant interaction between the combination of Nitrogen and Phosphorus treatments on Plant Height observations. The treatment of the correct (highest) Nitrogen fertilizer dose was shown by the N3 treatment and was significantly different from the N1 and N2 treatments on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves and number of branches. The treatment of the correct (highest) Phosphorus fertilizer dose was shown by the P2 treatment and was significantly different from the P1 treatment on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves and number of branches.

Abstract

Gadget use can raise concerns regarding its impact on health and social life for adolescents. The results of interviews with 17 students of STIKES Panrita Husada Bulukumba with respondents who use gadgets showed that some respondents experienced sleep disorders, usually past 12 am to 3 am. In addition, respondents also said they usually felt eye fatigue, dry and itchy eyes, and blurred vision after using gadgets for too long. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of gadget use with sleep quality and visual acuity in students at STIKES Panrita Husada Bulukumba. The design used in this study was a quantitative descriptive correlational non-experimental with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 74 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling methods. Data collection tools were questionnaires on the duration of gadget use, sleep quality, and visual acuity observation sheets. The results of the analysis using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov alternative Chi-square test on the relationship between the duration of gadget use with sleep quality and visual acuity obtained a significance value (p-value) of 0.000. Conclusions and Recommendations: There is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and sleep quality and visual acuity in students at STIKES Panrita Husada Bulukumba. Based on these results, it is recommended that students regulate the duration of gadget use, especially at night, to maintain sleep quality and eye health.

Abstract

Mastery of philosophy and theology is very influential in internal and inter-religious dialogue. Besides critical thinking and well-established argumentation, dialogue, debate, and discussion are central knowledge in darśana. Hindu thinkers mastered Tarka-Vāda and were able to dialogue with adherents of Sanatana Dharma and with followers of other faiths. The expertise of di Ādi Śaṅkarācārya and other Hindu thinkers in the field of Tarka-Vāda is essential today for Dharmapracārakas, teachers, Hindu Scholars, academics, and Hindu devotees. In addition, the mastery of Tarka-Vāda as an effort to support the science of communication (Vakya Vidya) in the Hindu tree of knowledge and glorify Vācaspati.

Abstract

General Background: Science learning outcomes in Indonesian elementary schools remain suboptimal, often due to monotonous instruction and limited engaging media. Specific Background: The Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes interactive and technology-integrated learning, yet teachers frequently rely on textbooks and traditional methods, which reduce students’ motivation and conceptual understanding. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies explored general animation-based media, but the integration of Powtoon for contextualizing abstract science concepts in Grade V, particularly on Earth Changes, remains underexplored. Aims: This study aimed to develop Powtoon-based learning media and evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving science learning outcomes. Results: Using the DDD-E model with 28 fifth-grade students, findings revealed the media was rated very valid by experts, highly practical by teachers and students, and significantly effective, with posttest scores surpassing pretest results (N-gain = 0.8, high category). Novelty: Unlike prior research, this study uniquely integrates Powtoon into the Kurikulum Merdeka context, providing a systematic design aligned with learning objectives while addressing cognitive achievement gaps. Implications: Powtoon-based media can serve as an innovative alternative to enrich digital pedagogy, enhance student motivation and comprehension, and support teachers in creating creative, engaging, and curriculum-aligned science instruction.Highlight : Powtoon media development improves science learning outcomes.
