Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis game Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik di SMPN 8 Palu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A dan VIII B SMPN 8 Palu yang masing-masing 20 peserta didik per kelasnya. Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan instrument evaluasi media Kahoot melalui pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelis tian mengenai pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis game Kahoot dan pembelajaran berbasis konvesional terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik, peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dengan bantuan media evaluasi Kahoot. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perhitungan menggunkan SPSS 25 for Windows. Nilai Sig (2-Tailed) yaitu 0.006 < 0,05. dinyatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya ada pengaruh media evaluasi Kahoot pada pembelajaran IPA untuk mengukur hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. Perbedaan kedua kelas dalam pada pengaruh media pembelajaran hanya terdapat pada nilai mean. Nilai mean hasil belajar kelas yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis game Kahoot sebesar 75,65 sedangkan mean hasil belajar pembelajaran berbasis konvesional 63,40. Selisih rata-rata 12,25 poin menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

One of the existing learning approaches is challenge-based learning (CBL) which modified to Meguru, that encourages students to think critically and creatively in solving real problems. The STEM integrated CBL physics learning model based on local wisdom is present as an alternative to overcome these challenges. The main aim of this research is to develop a STEM-integrated physics challenge based learning model oriented to local wisdom towards quality students' creative thinking skills with valid, practical and effective criteria. This research is the Borg and Gall development model that was carried out through expert validation via FGD to obtain suggestions and input in order to revise the model, so that the valid Meguru model was obtained. The experts provide recommendations that the Meguru learning model was suitable for use with improvements (LDP). Validation of learning tools, obtained model implementation sheet with a score of 1.00 (very valid), teaching module with a score of 3.78 (very valid), student activity sheet (LKPD) with a score of 3.94 (very valid), student activity observation sheet with a score of 1 .00 (very valid), and the student response questionnaire was 98.66 (very valid). In the testing phase of the model's effectiveness, students' creative thinking skills were obtained with an average score of 97.50. The score obtained in the very good category shows that the learner's goals were achieved. where the Meguru learning model is effectively used in Physics learning.  The type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D)

Abstract

When an earthquake occurs, there is a strange phenomenon, namely the liquefaction of large areas of land. The liquefaction of the soil caused the houses to sink into the ground along with the casualties. In addition, there were also houses that shifted hundreds of metres from their initial position because the foundation soil was liquid and was on a slope so that it was like a ‘walking house’ After this phenomenon occurred and the peak of the earthquake had ended, the soil under the foundation of the house that shifted gradually solidified again as before. In science, this phenomenon is called liquefaction. Liquefaction is a phenomenon in which the soil loses much of its strength and stiffness in a short period of time. The soil contracts at the onset of cyclic loading due to earthquake shaking, so that the pore water pressure increases to near or beyond its normal stress. In order for a stable building to stand on the ground, the soil layer must be safe from liquefaction hazards. Seeing the above phenomena and problems, as a researcher in the field of education, it is appropriate to conduct research in the form of developing props for the phenomenon of ‘walking houses’ during liquefaction for science learning. The development research that will be carried out has a problem formulation, namely how to develop teaching aids for the ‘walking house’ phenomenon. The purpose of the research is to develop props for the phenomenon of ‘walking houses’ during liquefaction for science learning. As well as providing an understanding that the phenomenon of walking houses and trees is a natural scientific event that can occur in liquefied areas. This development research uses the 4D model. The 4D model used has several stages, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The results of the research on the development of props for the walking house phenomenon can provide a complete scientific understanding of how the house can walk or move when liquefaction occurs while some other houses collapse and sink. The results of this research can also be used for disaster learning so as to provide in-depth knowledge for all students so that in the event of a disaster they are expected to take appropriate and accurate action which in turn can reduce the number of casualties. Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of digital technology requires the world of education to adapt to various innovations, one of which is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning. However, in reality, many schools still use conventional, less interactive teaching materials, thus not optimally improving 21st-century skills, particularly critical thinking and communication skills. This research aims to produce a suitable and effective artificial intelligence-based e-learning module for improving students' critical thinking and communication skills. The research employed a mixed methods approach with an embedded experimental model design, consisting of several stages: introduction, design, development, and interpretation. The research subjects were 60 students of class X of SMA Negeri 5 Sigi. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, cognitive assessment tests (functioning as pretest and posttest), observation sheets on student communication skills and observation sheets on student activities during the learning process, and interview guidelines after the learning process. This study concludes that the development of e-learning modules containing artificial intelligence is effective and feasible for use in improving students' critical thinking and communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills -based Student Worksheets using the Problem Based Learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a Research and Development study and uses the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) development model. The developed student worksheets has been validated by media experts with a score of 89.50% and by subject matter experts, showing content feasibility of 83.45% and linguistic aspects of 91.42%. The results of the pilot test through a student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 82%, which indicates a very practical category. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes showed an average score of 57.96% with a moderate category. Thus, it can be concluded that the HOTS-based  student worksheets  using the Problem Based Learning model has been tested and is feasible for use as teaching material in physics practicums.

Abstract

The ability to interpret graphs is important for students to understand the relationships between physical variables, which can lead to the discovery of concepts. There are problems with creating graphs for direct object motion analysis because the movement is fast, and there is a lack of supporting laboratory equipment, which hinders students from further interpreting the motion graphs. Tracker software can be used to determine the exact position and time of moving objects from video recordings of real events. However, students' knowledge of Tracker use remains minimal, and their graph-interpretation skills are also underdeveloped. Based on this, the purpose of this community service activity is to guide students in analyzing object motion using Tracker software, train students' graph-interpretation skills, and assess students' responses to the community service activity using Tracker in object motion analysis. The implementation of this community service consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Community service activities include providing materials, conducting demonstrations, completing practical assignments using Tracker in object motion experiments, interpreting graphs, and giving presentations. The conclusion from this community service is that students can use Tracker software effectively to analyze object motion experiments, that students' graph interpretation skills are trained, and that students' graph interpretation skills improve. Students' responses are very good to the use of Tracker in object motion analysis to train graph interpretation skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul Fisika terintegrasi mitigasi bencana alam dengan pendekatan STEM sehingga layak dan praktikalitas. Metede penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analysis (menganalisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (Implentasi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek peneltian ini adalah E-Modul Fisika tingkat SMA pada materi gelombang yang di integrasikan dengan mitigasi bencana alam melalui pendekatan STEM dan diujikan secara terbatas kepada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk. Kelayakan E-Modul melalui validasi oleh dosen yang terdiri dari 2 validator menunjukan tingkat kevalidan materi sebesar dan kevalidan media sebesar sehingga rata-rata validasi modul yaitu berkategori valid. Selanjutnya E-Modul di ujicobakan secara terbatas dan diukur kepraktikalitas melalui lembar angket yang diberikan kepada siswa sejumlah 13 responden dengan rata-rata presentase 88,50% dan kepada guru fisika memperoleh respon guru terhadap e-modul dengan rata-rata presentase 88,89% dengan kategori e-modul ini yaitu praktis untuk digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa E-Modul Fisika terintegrasi mitigasi bencana alam dengan pendekatan STEM valid dan praktis. Development of a Physics E-Module Integrated with Natural Disaster Mitigation Using a STEM Approach on Wave Topics This study aims to develop a Physics E-Module integrated with natural disaster mitigation using a STEM approach, ensuring its validity and practicality. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) methodology utilizing the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of this research was a high school-level Physics E-Module on wave topics, integrated with natural disaster mitigation using a STEM approach. The module was tested in a limited setting with students from SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk. The module’s validity was assessed through expert validation by two university lecturers, resulting in a material validity score and a media validity score, culminating in an average module validity categorized as valid. Subsequently, the E-Module was trialed on a limited scale, and its practicality was measured using questionnaires distributed to 13 student respondents, yielding an average percentage of 88.50%. Additionally, feedback from physics teachers indicated an average percentage of 88.89%, categorizing the E-Module as practical for use. The results of this study demonstrate that the Physics E-Module integrated with natural disaster mitigation using a STEM approach is both valid and practical.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi dosen Akademi Bina Farmasi Palu adalah keterbatasan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mengelola referensi ilmiah secara sistematis menggunakan perangkat lunak manajemen referensi. Kondisi ini menyebabkan proses penulisan artikel ilmiah menjadi kurang efisien, terutama dalam pengelolaan sitasi dan penyusunan daftar pustaka sesuai standar penulisan ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dosen dalam memanfaatkan perangkat lunak manajemen referensi guna mendukung penyusunan artikel ilmiah yang berkualitas. Mitra kegiatan adalah dosen Akademi Bina Farmasi Palu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis yang dilaksanakan secara langsung melalui presentasi materi dan praktik penggunaan aplikasi manajemen referensi seperti Mendeley dan Zotero. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan perangkat lunak manajemen referensi, teknik pelacakan sumber literatur dari basis data ilmiah, pengelolaan sitasi otomatis, serta integrasi perangkat lunak manajemen referensi dengan perangkat pengolah kata. Kegiatan juga dilengkapi dengan sesi pendampingan teknis untuk membantu peserta mengatasi kendala dalam penggunaan aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola pustaka digital, melakukan sitasi secara otomatis, serta menyusun daftar pustaka sesuai gaya penulisan ilmiah. Peserta juga menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi manajemen referensi untuk mendukung proses penulisan artikel ilmiah. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pelatihan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas penulisan ilmiah dosen serta mendukung penguatan budaya publikasi akademik di Akademi Bina Farmasi Palu.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini diarahkan untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar Matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres 6 Lolu. Penelitian melibatkan 23 siswa, terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan, sebagai fokus pengamatan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar yang dirancang untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kenaikan ketuntasan belajar dari 70% pada pra tindakan, meningkat menjadi 78% pada siklus I, dan akhirnya mencapai 87% pada siklus II. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan CRT mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika peserta didik kelas IV SD Inpres 6 Lolu.

Abstract
