Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the sales intensity of vocational high school students. The focus of this study is to examine the effect of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial promotion to influence sales intensity. In this study, entrepreneurial digitalization is placed as a mediator of the relationship between entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial promotion, and sales intensity. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive design. The respondents of this study were students of public high schools in Mojokerto Regency, namely SMK Negeri 1 Pungging, SMK Negeri 1 Sooko, and SMK Negeri 1 Jatirejo who had received entrepreneurship education and already had a business, namely students in grades XI and XII. The sample of this study amounted to 350 students who filled out the survey using Google Forms. The data analysis method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using Smart PLS software version 3. This study uses 2 PLS calculation models, namely the measurement model (Outer Model) and the Structural Model (Inner Model). The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a significant positive effect on sales intensity, entrepreneurship promotion has a significant positive effect on sales intensity, entrepreneurship education has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurship digitalization, entrepreneurship promotion has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurship digitalization, and entrepreneurship digitalization significantly mediates entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship promotion on sales intensity. This study provides evidence for research that is still debated that entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship promotion, and entrepreneurship digitalization can positively and significantly influence sales intensity. These findings are also a provision for prospective entrepreneurs to understand and apply the knowledge that has been taught in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has become a teaching strategy employed by teachers to support vocational education. However, English instruction in vocational high schools (SMK), especially in Trenggalek Regency, East Java, Indonesia has yet to fully address ESP aspects. Therefore, this study aims to develop an ESP book based on a gamification model and evaluate its effectiveness using ANOVA tests. The research utilized the ADDIE development model, with a private SMK in Trenggalek Regency as the primary research subject. The findings indicate that the book is highly suitable for use, scoring 85% for attractiveness and 84% for appropriateness. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the book is effective for teaching English in the context of entrepreneurship and business at vocational high schools, confirming its suitability for business-oriented English learning. These findings highlight gamified ESP materials"™ potential to improve engagement, communication skills, and career readiness in vocational education. Future research should explore whether the book can further enhance students' learning outcomes and other professional skills. How to cite this paper: Anugerahwati, M., Rosyidah, U. J., Abargiel, K. Abstract

Technological progress requires the presence of intelligent economic people, able to create income, make wise economic decisions, and improve the welfare of life. Economic education that is responsive to technological developments is able to provide more relevant learning experiences. The success of current economic education students who are digital natives can be influenced by various aspects, such as the contribution of ChatGPT, digital literacy, economic literacy, and self-efficacy. This research aims to determine the influence of the contribution of ChatGPT, digital literacy, and economic literacy to study results which are mediated by the self-efficacy of economic education students. The research method uses a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) via the SmartPLS application version 3.3.9. The research results show that economic literacy has a large and effective contribution in increasing student self-efficacy and study results compared to the use of ChatGPT and digital literacy. There is still room for improvement to optimize the implementation of ChatGPT and strengthen digital literacy in achieving good study results

Abstract

Entrepreneurial interest is still quite low in Indonesia because it is known that until now the number of entrepreneurs has not been able to reach the ideal number, SMK as a vocational school must always develop its quality to realize high-quality graduates in answering the needs of the industrial world and creating new entrepreneurs. This study uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to predict and confirm the hypotheses given. This study uses Google Forms for data collection on students of the Tourism Business Department of SMKN 1 Trowulan in Mojokerto Regency. Respondents in this study were 184 student respondents. The results showed that the Social Environment could not explain Self-efficacy or Entrepreneurial Interest. However, the Entrepreneurship Education variable can explain Self-efficacy and Entrepreneurial Interest. Furthermore, Entrepreneurship Education will have more influence on Entrepreneurial Interest, if strengthened by Self Efficacy as a mediator variable. The Social Environment will not have a greater influence on the Interest in Entrepreneurship, although strengthened with Self-efficacy as a mediator variable

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with the fourth largest population in the world, thus having enormous human resource potential. However, this potential has not been fully utilised because many high school graduates do not continue their education, work, or participate in training. One way to prepare high school students in Lamongan Regency to face these challenges is through entrepreneurship education, which is expected to strengthen skills, recognise opportunities, and foster entrepreneurial intent. The research method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that: (1) The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial skills, (2) The results of the study indicate that there is no positive and significant effect of opportunity recognition on entrepreneurial skills, (3) The results of the study indicate that there is a direct positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intention. (4) The results show that there is a direct positive and significant effect between the variables of opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial intention, (5) The results show that there is a direct positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial skills on entrepreneurial intention, (6) The results show that entrepreneurial education has an effect on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial skills. (7) The results show that opportunity recognition does not have an effect on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial skills. The results of this study are expected to encourage schools to strengthen the implementation of entrepreneurial education by providing more practical activities, such as business projects, business incubation programmes, or collaboration with local MSMEs
