Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of the recruitment and selection process on employee performance in various company contexts. In this study, researchers collected data from several sources, including questionnaires distributed to a number of companies or institutions. Data analysis shows that the recruitment and selection process has a significant effect on employee performance. Quality employee candidates can result from an effective recruitment process, while a careful selection process can ensure that the selected candidates match the company's needs and criteria. In addition, this research also notes that recruitment methods that primarily use recommendations have weaknesses, such as late feedback after interviews. Therefore, it is recommended that companies consider recruitment methods, such as using print or electronic advertisements to publicize available positions. The results of this research have important implications for human resource management and companies in order to optimize the employee recruitment and selection process to improve a company's performance. Apart from that, this research also estimates other factors that influence employee performance, such as education, experience and motivation. Overall, this research helps companies manage their human resources in a competitive business environment more effectively.

Abstract

Studies on human resource management (HRM) have been supported by previous research that there are best practices, high-involvement management (HIM) that can guarantee superior organizational performance. However, there are still concerns that contingency theory still applies, namely that the fit between the human resource system and its context, and in particular the organization's business strategy, is important, and thus, High-Involvement Management (HIM) will only outperform other systems in certain circumstances. In the 1990s, there was a spate of research that attempted to test whether High-Involvement Management (HIM) was indeed universally relevant. This journal reviews these studies. This journal first introduces the conceptual dimensions of HRM and performance. This suggests that the issues are more than a simple competition between universalism and contingency theory. There are more complex hypotheses linking human resource practices beneath the surface of the current literature. This journal reviews research based on these hypotheses, and shows that the studies provide an uneven picture. First, there are conceptual differences underlying the studies and, second, the results vary across studies, and the effects of High-Involvement Management (HIM) vary across performance measures, even within particular studies. Although quite a number of studies claim to support universalism, their claims are not always unequivocally supported by their research evidence, and it is premature to conclude that they support universalism. There is more support for the 'lean production' argument which emphasizes the interaction effect between DIA and total quality management on performance.

Abstract

The human resource capacity of an organization is its main capital, and its success is directly related to this capital. To achieve the goal of increasing work effectiveness, all employees need to receive continuous training to develop their professional abilities and capacities, as well as inspire them to work harder and more diligently. Implementing comprehensive and systematic supervision and initiatives to improve work discipline internationally can help businesses achieve employee work efficiency while improving overall service quality. Qualitative research with an emphasis on descriptive analysis was used. Methods of solving this problem have been investigated and the results are presented. When looking to fill a specific role in a business, a job analysis is essential. To explain certain social phenomena, researchers analyze and evaluate data in an effort to answer research questions. Job descriptions and job analyzes are the end product of an organization's efforts to identify the skills and experience that an ideal candidate must possess to be successful in a particular role. Employee performance is greatly influenced by analyzing every aspect of the job. Companies should conduct job analyzes to assign employees based on their skills, which will result in more efficient operations and more active competition among employees.
