This study aims to, 1) describe the forms of polite language (kesantunan berbahasa) found in YouTube media; and 2) identify the implementation of polite language through YouTube media at SDN 02 Ganten, Kerjo, Karanganyar. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The data consist of utterances found in YouTube videos, with sources from the Aisyah Kids TV channel through a video titled Adab dan Akhlak Berbicara (Manners and Ethics of Speaking), the Annisa Fakhriyah channel with the video Adab Kepada Orang Tua (Manners Toward Parents), and the Riri Cerita Anak Interaktif channel with the video Akhlak Mulia (Noble Character). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and document analysis. Observations were conducted during Indonesian language learning sessions using YouTube media to observe the implementation of polite language. Interviews were held with teachers and students to explore their perspectives on the use of YouTube in teaching polite language. Document analysis was used to examine the videos and related learning materials from YouTube. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, selecting samples considered relevant and supportive of the research objectives. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation, combining data from observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique followed the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which includes three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: 1) YouTube media presents examples of polite language through polite and ethical conversations that can be applied in daily life, and 2) YouTube media enhances students’ understanding of the importance of using polite and context-appropriate language. YouTube-based learning helps students comprehend and apply polite language.
