However, some deficiencies that arise due to the application of the procedures used are still often encountered. This situation can be seen from the number of customer self-registration data that is still done manually. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology on Citizenship Cards can be used to get the results of accuracy and speed and get the best reading results. The purpose of this study was to use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology in reading the Identity Card (KTP). The readings from OCR can be used to compare the size of the original, medium, and small images in color and grayscale images, so that the best results can be found in the processing of personal data on Identity Cards with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This study resulted in the accuracy of reading grayscale Identity Card (KTP) data more accurately. Where the amount of 86.32% for the accuracy of the colored Identity Card (KTP) and 88.58% for the accuracy of the grayscale Identity Card (KTP).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the direct and indirect effects of discounts, free shipping, and cash on delivery (COD) on consumer choices. Shopee users in Madiun, specifically at the Alurwah Moslemwear store, were the subjects of the study. The research sample consisted of 385 respondents. This study used SmartPLS version 4.0 for quantitative data processing. The results show that COD significantly and positively influences consumer purchasing decisions. Free shipping and discounts have an insignificant and negative effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results indicate that these variables also have a direct effect on purchasing decisions. These promotional strategies encourage consumers to complete transactions by reducing costs and perceived risks, thus increasing purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results indicate that only one variable has a direct effect, indicating the purchasing decision process. The other variables do not affect purchasing decisions. This study highlights the importance for online sellers, especially on e-commerce platforms like Shopee, to offer cash on delivery (COD) services to increase purchasing decisions. Despite offering attractive discounts and free shipping options, the Alurwah Muslim Clothing Store must provide more attractive strategies for customers. Sales must prioritize these factors in their marketing strategy.

Abstract

Surveillance of foreigners is essential in maintaining Indonesia's national stability and security, given the increasing global migration mobility. Digital transformation and the application of geospatial intelligence (Geoint) are potential solutions to improve the detection and early response to threats brought by foreign nationals (WNA). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of geospatial intelligence (Geoint) in enhancing the surveillance of foreign nationals (WNA) within the context of Indonesia’s national security and stability. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, with literature searches on Scopus and Google Scholar until May 10, 2024. The selected studies focused on the use of Geoint in relation to immigration and national security surveillance, while studies that were irrelevant or not available in full text were excluded. The findings indicate that Geoint significantly enhances surveillance capabilities by enabling rapid, precise monitoring and early threat prediction. Notably, Geoint facilitates the analysis of movement patterns of foreign nationals and the identification of high-risk areas, thereby increasing operational efficiency and targeting accuracy. For instance, it supports proactive responses to espionage-related activities—defined as the illicit gathering of sensitive information—that pose a risk to national security. The study concludes that integrating Geoint into immigration surveillance systems represents a strategic advancement in Indonesia’s digital security infrastructure. For policymakers and security practitioners, this innovation underscores the need for adaptive, data-driven surveillance frameworks that can respond dynamically to evolving migration patterns and security threats. Future national security policies should consider institutionalizing Geoint as a core component of foreign surveillance strategy.
