Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Smart Parenting on the Formation of Children's Character. Parents can use technology and modern approaches to educate children. however, there needs to be more supervision of child caregivers, which affect the child's development. This study used a quantitative method by conducting a regression test. Data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The results of the study show that Smart Parenting has a positive influence on the formation of children's character. This is because Smart Parenting provides opportunities for children to participate in decision-making, respect children's opinions and feelings, provide support and guidance according to children's needs and interests, and use technology wisely and responsibly. The conclusion of this study is that Smart Parenting is an effective and relevant parenting style with the times to shape better children's character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode unjuk rasa dalam meningkatkan proses belajar dan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia pada siswa. Tempat penelitian adalah tempat yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh data yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertempat di SD Negeri 1 Bone-Bone tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Pengamatan dibagi dalam tiga putaran, yaitu putaran 1, 2, dan 3, di mana masing-masing putaran dikenal perlakuan yang sama (alur kegiatan yang sama) dan membahas satu sub pokok bahasan membuat kalimat yang diakhiri dengan tes harian di akhir setiap putaran. Tercapai dalam tiga putaran dimaksud untuk memperbaiki sistem pengajaran yang telah dilaksanakan.Data-data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi metode pengolahan pembelajarn demonstrasi, observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, dan tes harian.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan motivasi siswa dalam menulis puisi melalui penerapan metode picture and picture pada siswa serta dapat mempermudah siswa dalam penulisan puisi degan diterapkannya metode pembelajaran picture and picture pada sisw kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Katobengke Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode picture and picture dengan model Kemmis Taggart.Penelitian ini merancang tindakan dalam dua siklus,dengan empat tahap setiap siklus dimana, masing-masing siklus mencapai 4 tahap yaitu planning (perencanaan), acting (tindakan), observing (observasi), dan reflecting (refleksi). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain: (1) observasi, (2) wawancara, (3) Dokumentasi, dan (4) Tes, peneliti menggunakan jenis pre tes (tes awal) dan post test (tes akhir) dalam pelaksanaan siklus penelitian disertai lembar observasi guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dalam keterampilan menulis puisi dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan metode picture and picture siswa. Dimana pada siklus I nilai 65 keatas aada 14 atau 58,33% siswa yang tuntas, sementara untuk aktivitas siswa dan guru diperoleh 72. Pada silklus ke II semakin meningkat dimana siswa yang memeperoleh nilai diatas 65 ada 22 orang atau 91,67% siswa yang tuntas, serta aktivitas guru dan siswa mencapai nilai 91% pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa penerapan teknik picture and picture dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dan tertarik untuk belajar sehingga daapt meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam menulis puisi. Abstract

Implementation of interactive videos based on local cultural values in elementary school character education is essential in face of rapid technological advancement. Interactive videos not only help students understand and appreciate their own cultural heritage, but also introduce them to important character values embedded in local traditions and customs. These values play a crucial role in shaping students’ identity, integrity, and personality. Study aims to apply interactive videos grounded in local cultural values to support character education in elementary school students. A quantitative approach was used, involving a survey of 21 students to evaluate key aspects of character development. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed statistically to provide an objective overview and to inform the development of effective character education policies. Findings indicate that the use of interactive videos had a positive impact on students’ character development, particularly in the areas of cooperation and environmental awareness, which were mostly rated as "Very Good." Improvements were also observed in students' integrity and their understanding of local cultural values. However, a small number of students still fell into the "Poor" and "Very Poor" categories, highlighting the need for continued efforts to strengthen character education and ensure more consistent development across all students.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the Challenge-Based Learning model supported by interactive media based on folklore in strengthening local wisdom values and improving students’ learning outcomes in elementary education. This research adopted a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design that emphasized real classroom application. Data were obtained through tests, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed descriptively and inferentially to identify the impact of the intervention. The findings revealed that students experienced notable progress in understanding and internalizing local wisdom values, accompanied by a marked improvement in their learning achievements. The study’s novelty lies in the integration of folklore content into interactive digital media framed within the Challenge-Based Learning model, creating a culturally grounded and technology-enhanced learning environment. The practical implication highlights that folklore-based interactive media can serve as a powerful pedagogical resource to foster engagement, moral reflection, and cultappreciation among young learners. This study contributes to the enrichment of innovative and contextualized instructional models that resonate with the principles of Merdeka Belajar and emphasize the importance of local cultural identity as a foundation for meaningful character education in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to improve reading comprehension of texts using picture story media. This type of research is classroom action research, using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. This research consisted of four steps, namely, planning, action, observation and reflection, and was carried out in two cycles. The data collection technique used in this research is through tests, observation and documentation. This is proven by research data, namely the results of the pre-cycle test, there were 6 students who completed or 42.85% of all students who got ≥ 65, in the first cycle there were 15 students who finished or 71.47 of all students who got a score ≥ 65, while the results of the second cycle test were 19 students who completed it or 90.47% of all students who got a score ≥ 65. The results of this study show that using picture story media can increase understanding of reading texts from cycle I to cycle II by 90 .47%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in Indonesian language learning in Class V of Wameo 2 State Elementary School. This type of research is classroom action research, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects chosen were 16 students in class V of Wameo State Elementary School 2, even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, consisting of 10 male students and 6 female students. The data collection techniques used were observation, test sheets, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results in cycle I and cycle II, results were obtained which showed an increase in learning outcomes, namely from the test results in cycle I there were 10 students who completed (62.50%) and 6 students (37.50%). Incomplete with an average score of 65. .62. Student learning outcomes in cycle II were 14 students (87.50%) completed and 2 students (12.50%) incomplete with an average score of 92.5. The results of this research indicate that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

The social environment plays a crucial role in the process of forming student character. A conducive social environment can have a positive impact on students' moral and ethical development. Qualitative research is a research method that focuses on in-depth understanding of complex phenomena in real contexts. This approach is often used to answer complex questions and explore experiences, perceptions and meanings contained in them. The subjects of this research were 2 teachers, namely Class IV and Class V teachers. Qualitative data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data. obtained from observations, interviews, field notes and documentation studies, organizing data into synthesis, compiling patterns, choosing what is important and what will be studied and making conclusions so that they are easy to understand. The research results show that social interaction, the role of the family, and the impact of the community environment around the school at Nganganaumala 1 State Elementary School are key elements in shaping students' character and moral values. Interactions that occur inside and outside the school environment provide opportunities for students to broaden their horizons about values ​​such as cooperation, empathy, and social responsibility. The role of the family as a model and supporter in the formation of positive attitudes and ethical values ​​also provides a strong foundation for students' personal. development

Abstract

Microteaching practice is a crucial strategy for equipping prospective teachers with applicable pedagogical competencies. However, in its implementation within early grade classrooms of primary schools, students often face various complex challenges. This study aims to analyze the main difficulties encountered by students of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton during microteaching activities, particularly in the fourth semester course. Employing a qualitative research approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data were gathered from students currently undertaking microteaching and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that students struggle to develop contextual and practical lesson plans (RPP), lack the ability to deliver material in an engaging and communicative manner, and demonstrate limited use of instructional media appropriate to the characteristics of early-grade learners. These challenges indicate a gap between theoretical understanding and practical classroom application. Observational and interview data further support the notion that students are not yet fully capable of translating pedagogical theories into meaningful classroom activities for young children. This study concludes that enhancing the quality of microteaching guidance at the university level is essential, particularly in strengthening students' practical and reflective teaching skills. The research provides important contributions toward the development of more contextual and adaptive teacher training programs that respond to the instructional needs of early grade primary education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas akademik maupun non akademik yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Wameo. Untuk lebih mengenal, maka di adakan observari oleh mahasiswa dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan kepala sekolah dan guru-guru yang ada di SD Negeri 1 Wameo. Dilakukan dengan maksud membentuk jati diri bagi mahasiswa yang melaksanakan setiap kegiatan selama berlangsungnya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (calon pendidik). Tujuan penulisan ialah untuk mengamati kultur sekolah, struktur organisasi, dan tata kelola sekolah, kegiatan- kegiatan ceremonial-formal, kegiatan-kegiatan rutin seperti kegiatan kulikuler, kokulikuler, kegiatan ekstrakulikuler, dan praktik-praktik pembiasaan positif di sekolah. Penulisan laporan ini dihasilkan dengan cara mengumpulkan data-data yang diperoleh dengan pendekatan secara wawancara dari kepala sekolah, guru, diskusi, pengamatan lingkungan budaya sekolah, dan membaca reverensi yang ada dikantor. Setelah melakukan pengamatan yang penulis lakukan selama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, maka penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa untuk menyelesaikan penulisan ini diperlukan adanya kerja sama dari berbagai pihak terutama pihak sekolah SD Negeri 1 Wameo, selama itu penulisan ini juga diperlukan ketelitian yang penuh.
