Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Resistance Band and Pull Up Training on the Ability of 50 50-meter breaststroke Swimming in Prabumulih City Swimmers. This research method uses an experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique was taken randomly. Based on the results of this study, show that the t-test value of the resistance band group pretest and posttest is 4.608> 2.16 with a significance of 0.004> 0.05, meaning that there is a significant effect in resistance band training on the ability to swim 50 m breaststroke. The results of the t-test show that the t-test value of the pull-up group pretest and posttest is 7.050> 2.16 with a significance of 0.000> 0.05, meaning that there is a significant effect in pull-up training on the ability to swim 50 m breaststroke. There is a difference based on the average posttest resistance band training of 43.67 while pull-up training is 44.17.

Abstract

In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of samples sound absorption coefficient from sponge and styrofoam using a smartphone. The sound absorption coefficient is measured using a sound level meter and a frequency generator installed on a smartphone to determine the sound absorption coefficient. Samples were formed in circles with different thickness variations ranging from 1.5 cm to 15 cm. Through the tests that have been done, it can be seen that styrofoam has a higher sound absorption coefficient value than sponges. This research provides an alternative solution for measuring the sound absorption coefficient based on a smartphone device so that it is easy to apply, primarily to support the learning process related to sound material.

Abstract

AbstractMeasuring soil moisture content in an effort to increase the efficiency and yield of farmer groups in Waluya Village, Karawang Regency. Soil moisture measurement has a major role in improving agricultural performance, especially in the growth of rice plants. Through the use of advanced tools, farmer groups can monitor soil moisture in real-time with soil moisture sensors integrated with microcontrollers, providing opportunities to take more accurate actions in managing agricultural resources. This study covers the application of the tool, training of soil moisture meters in the use of this tool, and monitoring its impact on rice yields. The results of the service showed that the use of the soil moisture tool successfully measured soil moisture with an average measurement in a rice field plot of 90.8 percent. So that it helps farmers in determining the water discharge needed by rice. Therefore, the application of this tool is expected to help farmers in their efforts to care for rice plants. This extension activity is expected to provide important insights into the impact of innovative technology in supporting sustainable agriculture and empowering Soil Moisture Measuring groups in rural areas. Keywords: devotion; socialization; rice; humidity; village.

Abstract

Background: One of the primary sources of revenue for the state is taxes. This money will be used by the government to pay for a range of costs, including as fuel subsidies, finance for national development, and other general government expenses. The state will be able to manage a tax-supported administrative infrastructure as a result. The official assessment system and the self-assessment system are the two different types of tax collection techniques. Aim: The researcher would like to analyze compliance cost and officer’s supervision on MSME’s tax compliance moderated by tax system modernization. Method: The design of this study utilizes a causal research design to empirically test the effect of tax compliance costs and supervision by tax officers regarding individual taxpayer compliance and use moderation variables of tax system modernization. The research approach is quantitative with an explanatory design. The data collection technique that researchers use is a survey with a questionnaire. Findings: Tax Compliance Cost (X1) has a negative and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). Supervision from the Tax Officer (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). Moderating Effect of Tax Expense Has a positive and insignificant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). Moderating Effect Supervision from Tax Officers has a positive and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). Tax Modernization (Z) has a positive and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y).

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Program (PIP), as regulated in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 10 of 2020, is a strategic government policy designed to address various challenges in the education sector, including the lack of socialization to parents, mistargeting of aid recipients, a still-centralized determination process, and limited supporting human resources. This study aims to examine the implementation of PIP and the factors influencing it at MAN 3 Balangan, Lampihong District, Balangan Regency, employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 12 informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of PIP at MAN 3 Balangan has not been fully optimal, as indicated by weaknesses in actor interests, program benefits, determination structure, technical implementers, and inter-stakeholder coordination. Supporting factors include the availability of facilities, utilization of technology, well-organized administration, and adequate infrastructure, while inhibiting factors consist of limited information, restricted school authority, insufficient socialization, low participation, and uneven understanding among program managers. Therefore, it is recommended that the Ministry of Religious Affairs strengthen socialization, supervision, and coordination, while also encouraging active involvement of school principals, program managers, teachers, parents, and students to enhance the effectiveness of PIP implementation.
