Abstract

Based on the Circular from the Minister of Education and Culture Number: 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 dated March 17, 2020 regarding "Online Learning and Working from Home in the context of Preventing the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19)", then SMK Ar Rahman carry out learning by using applications from the internet, namely Google Classroom. The making of learning videos was suggested by several network computer engineering teachers using the Camtasia and Wondershare Filmora applications. Camtasia and Filmora are applications that are used to edit videos. Learning videos that are intended to make it easier for students to understand the subject matter are not always in accordance with the needs and desires of students. The research used is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique was obtained from interviews from the results of socialization, documentation and questionnaires (questionnaires). The research subjects consisted of 20 subject teachers. The temporary hypothesis is that it shows that the Wondershare Filmora video making design is better but only experienced editing and used to using the application. However, for subject teachers who are beginners, Camtasia seems easier and easier to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: Is increasing the ability of mathematical problem solving students who get problem based learning better than students who get conventional learning. This research is a semi-experimental study with the study population as all students of all grade X students of SMK AR-Rahman Medan. The sample selection is done randomly and 2 classes are chosen. The instrument used is a test of problem solving skills with the material system of linear equations. Data in this study were analyzed using parametric analysis. Statistical analysis of data was performed by t test analysis. The results showed that: (1) Increased mathematical problem solving abilities of students who obtained problem-based learning were higher than students who obtained conventional learning; (2) There is a significant difference between improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities that obtain problem-based learning and students who obtain conventional learning; (3) Among the four aspects of problem solving, the highest average increase in the aspect of "making a mathematical model" of 0.635 with moderate criteria. Based on the results of this study, researchers suggest that problem-based learning in students can be used as an alternative for teachers to improve students' problem solving abilities, especially in the Linear Equation System material

Abstract

This study aims to assess the potential risk and anticipated returns of equity and debt-based financing products in Islamic banking in Indonesia, represented by the three most prevalent contracts: musharakah, mudharabah, and murabahah. Data was collected from banks' monthly financial reports published on the Indonesia Financial Service Authority (OJK) website from 2014 to 2020, resulting in 82 observations. Data analysis was conducted using the Value at Risk (VaR) method with the variance-covariance approach. Among many methods, VaR is one of the most popular techniques that yields the most comprehensive results in measuring risk and return. The findings reveal that, in general, all equity and debt-based financing yielded stable risk and returns. However, equity-based financing produced higher returns, but also generated higher risks due to its uncertain nature. The results also demonstrate that risk management in Islamic banks improved gradually during the observation period, as indicated by the average score of portfolio combinations. These findings suggest that Islamic banks should balance their product offerings between equity-based financing and debt-based financing while simultaneously strengthening risk management, especially for murabahah products in equity-based financing.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of using problem-based learning methodology in the domain of mathematics education. This research falls into the Pre-Experimental Design category, which specifically utilizes one experimental group without a control group. This research consisted of a group of 25 class VIII students at SMP Darma Medan. This research specifically examines three of the four elements used to assess learning effectiveness. Variables that are considered in this context include educational goals, activities and obligations carried out by students, as well as responses and comments given by students. The instruments used consist of academic achievement assessments, monitoring sheets to observe student engagement, and surveys to assess student feedback. Descriptive analysis shows that the mathematics learning outcomes achieved are relatively high with an average score of 82.48. Regarding the evaluation of learning outcomes (1) 5 students (20%) did not meet the criteria, while 20 students (80%) achieved individual proficiency benchmarks. Thus, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes after implementing problem-based learning strategies meet the requirements for achieving comprehensive classical learning goals. (2) The average level of student participation is 80.4%, thus meeting the criteria for active student involvement. (3) The student learning response rate was 80.5%, indicating acceptable results. After evaluating the three efficacy criteria, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model has been effectively applied to class VIII students at SMP Darma Medan.Keywords: effectiveness, mathematics, problem-based learning models,

Abstract

Pada dasarnya mutu pendidikan merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan guna untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki prestasi belajar siswa. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa yaitu diantara lain adalah faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal salah satu nya adalah motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar. Siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar yang tinggi akan terlihat lebih aktif, serta mempunyai inisiatif sendiri untuk belajar sendiri dan lebih tertib dalam belajarnya. Dan begitu pula sebaliknya siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar yang sedang akan terlihat lebih kurang aktif, serta kurang mempunyai inisiatif sendiri untuk belajar sendiri dan juga kurang tertib dalam belajarnya . Selain itu, tujuan penulisan ini adalah yang pertama untuk mengatahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, yang kedua untuk mengatahui seberapa besar pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan yang ketiga untuk mengatahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dari narasumber adalah informasi yang diberikan Guru Matematika, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data ini digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi dan disiplin belajar sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah prestasi belajar. Mengingat seberapa penting motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar maka perlu adanya motivasi dan disiplin yang tinggi pada diri siswa. Jadi dapat disimpulkan berhasil tidaknya siswa dalam belajar dapat dilihat dari prestasi yang dicapainya. Untuk itu perlu memaksimalkan faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar agar tujuan pendidikan berjalan lancar, dan efektif.

Abstract

The MBKM (The Freedom to Learn-Free Campus) policy is implemented in order to realize an autonomous and flexible learning process in higher education so that universities can design and implement innovative learning processes so that students can achieve learning outcomes covering aspects of attitude, knowledge and skills optimally. This policy also aims to increase links and matches with the business world and the industrial world, as well as to prepare students for the world of work from the beginning. One of the programs in the MBKM for students is to carry out KKN for students, in this activity each student works in the village for a certain period of time, lives and helps rural communities solve development problems as part of their curriculum, as was done by Quality University students in the village of Sabungan Nihuta Kec. Ronggur Nihuta Kab. Samosir. From this activity, research was carried out which aimed to develop the implementation of KKN activities for University of Quality students in the MBKM program in the village of Sabungan Nihuta Kec. Ronggur Nihuta Kab. Samosir uses a research method that is a descriptive method and will be published in the Curere journal at Quality University.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the contribution of mathematical problem-solving abilities to self-regulated learning. This research is ex post facto research. The sample taken in this study using the cluster random sampling technique was taken randomly from two classes with a total of 51 students. Data on problem-solving abilities and self-regulated learning were collected using instruments in the form of problem-solving ability tests and self-regulated learning attitude scales. Path analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. The results of the research show that problem-solving abilities contribute significantly to students' self-regulated learning, and the large contribution of problem-solving abilities to students' self-regulated learning is 94.47%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that to increase student self-regulated learning, problem-solving abilities must be improved. Apart from that, problem-solving abilities contribute significantly to self-regulated learning, both directly and indirectly, and these two variables have a very strong influence.

Abstract

The implementation of advertising in the Kuantan Singingi Regency involves several parties who form collaboration between parties. Organizing advertisements is a medium for promoting/introducing goods or services for entrepreneurs to influence the community in Kuantan Singingi Regency. However, many advertisements installed in Kuantan Singingi Regency still violate the applicable rules/regulations. This research aims to analyze and identify the implementation of advertising in Kuantan Singingi Regency and its obstacles. This research is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive in nature. The theory used in this research is the policy implementation model according to Thomas B. Smith (Syarief, 2019) which has four indicators, namely, idealized policy, target groups, implementing organization, and factors environment. The results of this research show that the implementation of advertising in Kuantan Singingi Regency has not been carried out in accordance with the Kuantan Singingi Regency Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2011 concerning Advertisement Tax and the Regent's Regulation of Kuantan Singingi Regency Number 46 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2011. Obstacles faced faced in implementing this policy is that there are no workshops or technical guidance for implementers, no socialization and lack of awareness from advertising organizers.

Abstract

This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. The objective is to examine the influence of price, trust, and security on online purchasing decisions on Shopee e-commerce in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. The population consists of residents of Banda Aceh City, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings indicate that the variables of price, trust, and security collectively have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Individually, each variable—price, trust, and security—also exerts a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.
