Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the guided discovery learning model on students' science learning activities and outcomes at MIN 1 Langsa in the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of this research is experimental research. The population in this study were first-grade students of MIN Langsa consisting of 5 classes with 28 students per class. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The sample used in this study was adjusted to the number of students in the covid-19 period where the number of students had to be divided by two and students entered according to the specified schedule. Based on the results of this study, it can be explained that the experimental class using the guided discovery learning model increased more than the control class. this shows that the Ha hypothesis can be accepted and Ho is rejected or the use of the guided discovery learning model is efficient to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. The results showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental class using the Guided Discovery learning model were higher than the control class using the Group Investigation learning model, namely 78.39% of the experimental class and 71.61% in the control class

Abstract

Math is one of the subjects that students dislike. Starting from the MI level even to college. Learners think that math is difficult, while math lessons themselves are applied in everyday life. This study aims to determine the efforts made by teachers in increasing students' interest in learning mathematics through games. The method used in this research is a literature review with the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method, the research data source is a journal. The results of the analysis show that the game method can increase students' interest in learning mathematics, students feel learning is more fun, not burdened, and math is not boring anymore.

Abstract

Digital Branding in educational institutions is very crucial to do because it will improve reputation and form an institutional brand image. Regarding the use of digital technology in the Al-Muin Islamic Boarding School environment, currently, it can be said to be very low. This stated shows from the lack of social media owned by the Al-Muin Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, with social media, the boarding school will be able to communicate and build public relations with the society. Having a relationship with the society will improve the good image of the Islamic boarding school and also as a medium of communication for the boarding school with the soociety. The implementation team of community service activities will assist in the use of social media as a means of digital branding at the Al Muin Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School. The teams activity are carried out in four stages, namely: initiation, preparation of facilities and infrastructure, execution and evaluation. The comparison of the pre-test and post-test results shows an increase in the level of understanding of the caregivers of the Al Muin Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School in using social media Instagram as a means of digital branding.

Abstract

Reading motivation is a critical factor in English language acquisition, recognized as a significant issue for decades. Scholars have explored this topic from various perspectives, including teachers’ strategies and students’ intrinsic motivation. However, no studies have examined teachers’ strategies for fostering reading motivation among junior high school students in the Papuan context, particularly in Wamena, Papua Pegunungan Province. This study addresses this gap by investigating the strategies employed by Papuan English teachers to enhance students’ reading motivation. Data were collected using a qualitative approach through a descriptive case study. Eight Papuan English teachers participated, responding to open-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that teachers employed several strategies to boost reading motivation, including designing engaging reading materials, modelling enthusiasm for reading, allowing students to choose their reading texts, providing constructive feedback on reading progress, and fostering strong teacher-student relationships. These findings offer valuable pedagogical implications and practical recommendations for educators to underscore the importance of reading, thereby fostering greater student motivation to engage with texts.

Abstract

This study aims to partially and simultaneously analyze the influence of conflict control, school culture, and work motivation on teacher performance in madrasah ibtidaiyah Aceh. The research method employed is a quantitative approach. The respondents of the study were 60 teachers of madrasah ibtidaiyah Aceh. The study's sampling technique uses random sampling techniques. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires and analysing the research data using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially, the three independent variables had an insignificant positive influence on the dependent variables, with t-count value of X1 = 0.362 > 0.05, t-count value X2 = -0.584 > 0.05, and t-count value of X3 = 0.404 > 0.05. However, based on the ANOVA test, it is known that the value of F-count = 6.840 >However, based on the ANOVA test, it is known that the value of F-count = 6.840 > the value of F-table = 2.775, meaning that the three independent variables have a simultaneous positive influence on the dependent variables. It is known that the contribution of the independent variable is 26.8%, and other variables influence the remaining 73.2%. Therefore, it can be concluded that teacher performance in madrasah ibtidaiyah in Aceh is not significantly influenced by conflict control variables, school culture, and work motivation. Still, this study does not disclose other variables that affect teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract The prenatal phase constitutes a critical stage of child development that significantly influences the overall quality of the child's growth and maturation. This interval encompasses several biological phases, including the germinal, embryonic, and fetal stages, each contributing vitally to the establishment of the child's anatomical structure, organ systems, and neurological capabilities. This article provides an in-depth examination of the intricacies of child development throughout the prenatal phase, the various factors that affect it, and the crucial contributions of maternal nutrition, lifestyle choices, and prenatal care in facilitating optimal fetal development. The research was executed through a systematic review of the existing literature spanning from 2015 to 2025, which underscores the necessity of a comprehensive approach to prenatal health. Abstrak Fase prenatal merupakan tahap kritis dalam perkembangan anak yang secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas pertumbuhan dan pematangan anak secara keseluruhan. Interval ini mencakup beberapa fase biologis, termasuk tahap germinal, embrionik, dan janin, yang masing-masing memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pembentukan struktur anatomi, sistem organ, dan kemampuan neurologis anak. Artikel ini memberikan telaah mendalam mengenai seluk-beluk perkembangan anak selama fase prenatal, berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhinya, dan kontribusi penting nutrisi ibu, pilihan gaya hidup, dan perawatan prenatal dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan janin yang optimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tinjauan sistematis terhadap literatur yang ada mulai dari tahun 2015 hingga 2025, yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan komprehensif terhadap kesehatan prenatal.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Ulkus diabetikum merupakan komplikasi serius pada penderita diabetes mellitus yang dapat menimbulkan morbiditas tinggi. Pengetahuan pasien tentang perawatan kaki diabetik diyakini memengaruhi kejadian ulkus. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kejadian ulkus diabetikum pada pasien di Griya Luka Pringsewu tahun 2024. Metode: Desain penelitian potong lintang dengan populasi 60 pasien diabetes yang terdaftar di Griya Luka Pringsewu. Tingkat pengetahuan diukur menggunakan kuesioner terstandar; kejadian ulkus diidentifikasi melalui rekam medis. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square (α = 0,05). Hasil: Sebanyak 60 pasien terdiri dari 28 (46,7 %) berpengetahuan tinggi dan 32 (53,3 %) berpengetahuan rendah. Kejadian ulkus ditemukan pada 4 (14,3 %) pasien berpengetahuan tinggi dan 18 (56,3 %) pasien berpengetahuan rendah. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kejadian ulkus (χ² = 10,24; p = 0,0014). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan pasien dengan kejadian ulkus diabetikum. Upaya edukasi yang lebih intensif diperlukan untuk menurunkan insiden ulkus.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) memperkirakan 25% penduduk dunia akan menderita hipertensi pada tahun 2025. Di Asia Tenggara hipertensi berada pada posisi ketiga tertinggi dengan prevalensi 25% dari total penduduk dan di Indonesia peningkatan prevalensi sekitar 5% dari jumlah penduduk. Hipertensi juga berdampak pada kerusakan retina mikrovaskular, peningkatan intraokular dan lesi trombo emboli. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efek pendidikan kesehatan dengan media digital (WAG) terhadap pengetahuan dan prilaku CERDIK penderita hipertensi pada pencegahan stroke. Metode: metode pada penelitian adalah Pra-Eksperiment Design dengan pendekatanone Group Pretest-Posttest. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti melakukan (pretest) terlebih dahulu kemudian diberikan perlakuan berupa pendidikan kesehatan melalui penggunaan media dengan mengirim pesan melalui group WhatsApp pada responden yang dijadikan sampel. Setelah diberikan perlakuan selama 4 minggu selanjutnya dievaluasi kembali dengan pengisian koesioner (posttest). Populasi dalam peneliian ini adalah penderia hipertensi grade i-III di UPTD Puskesmas Gading rejo kabupaten Pringsewu Lampung. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 26 orang  dengan tehnik sampling pourposive tehnik sampling. Variabel independent dalam penelitian ini adalah Pendidikan kesehatan dengan media digital (WAG) dan variable dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan perilaku penderita hipertensi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample T-Test. Hasil: Uji statistik post-intervensi pada pengetahuan menunjukkan nilai p-value = 0,007 dan perilaku menunjukkan niilai p-value = 0,001.Hasil ini menunjuklan bahwa Intervensi pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan  dan perilaku penderita hipertensi Kesimpulan: pendidikan melalui WAG efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan  dan perilaku penderita hipertensi dalam mencegah stroke.

Abstract

This study discussed the role of Acehnese women in academic institutions within the public leadership structure over the past decade. Recruiting process, placement, and the fulfillment of women’s quotas in cross-sectoral at the institutions become a major concern due to a patriarchal model applied in Aceh. A survey of qualitative research was applied to find out the involvement of female lecturers at Islamic academic institutions in Aceh. The questionnaire was distributed to 58 respondents and 6 of them were selected to be interviewed. The data was analyzed by restatement, description, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that approximately 50% of women worked as first-line managers, more than 35% were as middle-line managers, and 15% were as top managers. It was a milestone of sustainable development efforts over the past decade.
