Abstract

Alat pengusir hama tikus berbasis gelombang ultrasonik adalah solusi efektif mengatasi masalah tikus di pertanian. Alat ini membutuhkan daya listrik sebesar 7 Watt selama 2,4 jam untuk lahan setengah hektar. Suplai daya berasal dari sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) off-grid, sesuai Peraturan Presiden No. 22 tahun 2017 tentang Rencana Umum Energi Nasional yang menargetkan energi terbarukan 23% dari total energi fosil pada 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem PLTS off-grid sebagai sumber daya alat pengusir hama tikus. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi, desain, dan eksperimen. Data observasi dari perangkat lunak PV Watts dan langsung menunjukkan rata-rata radiasi matahari harian 1044,57 dan 497,09 Watt selama 7 hari. Metode desain menentukan ukuran frame panel surya dengan tiang setinggi 4 meter dan kotak panel surya berukuran 40x20x50 cm. Metode eksperimen melibatkan pengujian alat yang dirancang. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan panel surya 100 Wp efisien. Dalam pengujian selama 7 hari, panel surya menghasilkan rata-rata 39 Watt setiap harinya dan mengisi baterai 20 Ah dari kosong hingga penuh dalam 5 jam tergantung kondisi cuaca. Baterai mampu menyediakan daya untuk beban AC dan DC dengan daya 7 Watt. Beban AC bertahan selama 13 jam, sementara beban DC dapat di-backup selama 24 jam. Penggunaan sistem PLTS off-grid sebagai sumber daya alat pengusir hama tikus adalah alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan efisien di pertanian.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah menyebabkan kekacauan global dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan manusia, termasuk bisnis dan perjanjian. Perjanjian-perjanjian yang sebelumnya terikat dapat terancam dan sulit dilaksanakan karena pembatasan, penutupan bisnis, dan gangguan lainnya yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi. Dalam upaya untuk menangani situasi ini, banyak pihak yang mengklaim COVID-19 sebagai alasan force majeure, yaitu kejadian di luar kendali mereka yang menghalangi pelaksanaan kontrak. Permasalahan yang di bahas yaitu mengenai klasifikasi COVID-19 sebagai sebuah dasar force majeure dalam perjanjian, hal itu mencakup definisi umum force majeure dan kriteria yang harus dipenuhi untuk mengklasifikasikan suatu kejadian sebagai force majeure dan akibat hukum yang akan terjadi, permasalahan kedua yaitu mengenai pertimbangan hukum hakim yang dilakukan untuk perkara dalam Putusan Nomor 629/Pdt.G/2020/PN Jkt.Sel, Putusan Nomor 548/Pdt.G/2020/PN.Jkt.Pst, Putusan Nomor 11/Pdt.G/2021/PN. Mrt yang menggunakan alasan force majeure covid-19 untuk tidak melaksanakan sesuai perjanjian.

Abstract

The global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been profound, affecting economies and societal structures worldwide. Indonesia, with a high caseload, has encountered significant challenges across various sectors. Virus transmission primarily occurs through physical contact, and the surge in active cases has strained hospital capacities, leading to the hospitalization of only severe cases. The remaining patients receive home telecare, but some experience sudden health deterioration with fatal consequences. To address this issue, this study proposes a remote outpatient care system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology and medical electronics. This integrated system aims to provide an effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The research includes a comparative analysis of three machine-learning algorithms: decision tree, gradient tree boosting, and random forest for the classification of COVID-19 patients. The results reveal that the random forest algorithm outperforms the others with an accuracy rate of 70%, as compared to 67% for the decision tree and 62% for the gradient tree boosting algorithm. This integrated system not only addresses immediate healthcare delivery challenges but also offers data-driven insights for patient classification, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and reach of medical interventions

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain an initial design for a laboratory practical tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by an ESP32 microcontroller for kinetic gas theory. This study was conducted to obtain an initial design for a practical laboratory tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by the ESP32 microcontroller on the kinetic theory of gases. This study was conducted descriptively through a literature review of various book articles and materials. Interviews were conducted with students and physics teachers in high schools (9 students and two teachers in Malang, 15 students and three teachers in Bandung) in Indonesia. Interviews were conducted to obtain an overview of the application of physics learning and reveal other potential problems students and teachers face. The design of the bifocal modeling tool developed has been consulted with physics and ICT learning experts. The results are that it needs to be further developed and maintained until the manufacturing stage. Bifocal modeling based on the design developed in this study has the potential to facilitate students to conduct scientific experiments related to the kinetic theory of gases. Based on the equipment to be developed, it is expected that students will be able to observe macroscopic gas phenomena through actual experiments, monitor microscopic phenomena visualized through computer models, collect data in actual experiments and computer simulations, and compare data. Students' understanding of the concept of the kinetic theory of gases has the potential to be improved by conducting practical work using bifocal modeling-based tools.

Abstract

Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) dalam beroperasi menggunakan dua sumber daya yaitu bolak balik (AC) dan searah (DC). Baterai merupakan alat penting untuk menampung sumber DC dari rectifier agar dapat dimanfaatkan dengan efisien. Baterai ini akan mensuplai daya untuk dipergunakan mesin dan peralatan yang memerlukan sumber DC. Baterai dengan nilai efisiensi baik maka menunjukkan baterai masih berkualitas bagus sehingga masih aman untuk digunakan. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara langsung di lokasi pemeliharaan baterai GIS Waru untuk mengumpulkan data. Berdasarkan hasil dari menganalisis data pemeliharaan baterai di GIS Waru diketahui bahwa baterai unit 1 110 VDC di GIS Waru masih layak untuk digunakan karena mempunyai kapasitas pengosongan sebesar 286 Ah dengan waktu pengosongan selama 7 jam dan memiliki efisien sebesar 137,5%.  Penelitian ini dapat menjadi penilaian baterai dalam memastikan kelayakan untuk dapat dimanfaatkan kembali. Kata Kunci: Baterai, Efisiensi, GIS Waru, Uji Kapasitas

Abstract

Transmission line impedance in DC microgrids can cause voltage dips and uneven current distribution, negatively impacting droop control and voltage stability. To address this, this study proposes an optimization approach using heuristic techniques to determine the optimal droop parameters. The optimizcv ation considers reference voltage constraints and virtual impedance at various load conditions, particularly resistive. The optimization problem is addressed using two techniques: queen honey bee migration (QHBM) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Simulation results show that QHBM reaches an error of 0.8737 at the fourth iteration. The QHBM and PSO algorithms successfully optimized the performance of the DC microgrid under diverse loads, with QHBM converging in 5 iterations with an error of about 0.8737, and PSO in 40 iterations drawn error is 0.9 while keeping the current deviation less than 1.5 A and voltage error less than 0.5 V. The deviation of current control and virtual impedance values are verified through comprehensive simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.

Abstract

Speaking is the skill on which students will be most evaluated in real-life situations. It's an important part of everyday interaction and more often than not, a person's first impression is based on a student's ability to express themselves fluently and understandably. This research of the objectives of this research are generally to: 1) improve the speaking skills of Phase F students through the application of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Based Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)-Type method in speaking learning, 2) improve the vocabulary of Phase F students through the application of the CLT Based STAD-Type method in speaking learning, 3) increase grammar to improve speaking skills and learning achievement of Phase F students through the application of the CLT Based STAD-Type method in speaking learning. While specifically aiming to: 1) find out the results of the application of the CLT Based STAD-Type method in improving speaking ability of phase F students, 2) increase vocabulary of Phase F students, 3) increase grammar to improve speaking skills and learning achievement of Phase F students. Using experimental research for data collection is done through tests, observations, field notes and documentation. The subject of this study was conducted on grade XI or Phase F students in Independent Curriculum, as many as 36 students consisting of 24 female students and 12 male students. The results showed an increase ability and learning outcomes of speaking, in the initial condition the ability to speak English only 27.78% increase in cycle I to 69.4% and increased again in cycle II which was 83.3%. Similarly, the learning achievement in the initial condition of students was completed by 36.1% or 13 students from 36 students and increased in the cycle I to 63.8% or 23 students from 36 students and again increased in the cycle II to 80.56% or 29 students from 36 students. This research concluded that: 1) The application of the CLT Based STAD-Type method can increase to improve students' speaking skills in speaking lessons which are characterized by student activeness when learning speaking material, student awareness to memorize vocabulary to be able to express ideas to speak, students can be actively involved in speaking and answering questions in discussion and argument, 2) The application of the CLT Based STAD-Type method can improve the English learning achievement of Phase F students which can be seen from the test scores in the initial condition of the learning completeness level of 36.1% with KKM 75 with an average score of 73.00 increased in the cycle II by 80.56% with an average value of 82.00.

Abstract

This research is very challenging and have best aim. The purpose of the study is to know the effect of teaching using film in improving vocabulary achievement. Population in this research were the seconds’ year students at Maritime Academy of Surakarta. Film is very interesting for them as maritime students. It is experimental research by doing intervention in the class to answer the research question. This research was experimental where there is only one-group getting pre-test and post-test. The pre-test to gain information about the students’ vocabulary ability. Treatment is done by teaching using film in class, and post-test was given to the class after the treatments given. the researchers held learning meetings seven times in the class before post-test was given. The film is chosen from the story the life of fisherman. The title of the film is “The perfect storm”. The finding shows that the significance value of the pre-test and post-test is 0.343, which means it is more than 0.05 (0.343 > 0.05), then H1 is rejected, which means there is not affect in reverse using the Perfect Storm Film to improve vocabulary achievement of second year Maritime Academy Student of Surakarta City in 2023.

Abstract

Literature is the written language representing human expression or spoken works that are inspired by ideas, beliefs, experiences, and emotions in the form of imagination, reflection of reality or raw data wrapped in an aesthetic package through language. While literacy is the ability to read and write. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that uses descriptive analysis of data from interviews, discussions and observations and a literature review approach, while the references used are several scientific journals / articles, books and references from reliable sources. The subject of this research is the work of grade X and XI students or Phases E and F in the Independent Curriculum. The result showed of the understanding and provide into how the implementation of English literature can develop in the era of digitalization through literacy learning in the classroom such as the development of English literature in the era of digital technology that allows English literature to be recognized by students. The limitation of this research itself is that sources have the same perspective as the topic under study, so that this research can take and see from the perspective of the source, but with different content but the same context. So, with the role of English literature in learning literacy in the digital era, it certainly has a significant influence or contribution to the development of English literature. Thus, we can see that English literature can contribute or have a positive nuance to developments in literacy learning in the digital era, both theoretically and practically.
