Abstract

This empirical-ethnographic research delves into the burgeoning landscape of social media discussions, particularly focusing on the YouTube channel @FaqihAbdulKodir. Amidst the plethora of content, this channel stands out for its unique exploration of ḥadīth through the lens of qirā’ah mubādalah, attracting a substantial audience and gaining recognition among academics and gender activists. Employing reception theory analysis, this study seeks to synthesize insights from @FaqihAbdulKodir’s exploration of ḥadīth concerning livelihood. The research sheds light on the reception of the prophet’s teachings, unraveling the intricate process of knowledge transmission. The findings reveal a spectrum of internalisations, rooted in the understanding of reciprocity. The research concludes with three distinct types of reception. First, an exegesis reception manifests as a trending interpretation style of living ḥadīth. Second, an aesthetic reception highlights the beauty of Islamic teachings, fostering equality before God, particularly in matters of livelihood. Third, a functional reception emerges, emphasizing mutuality in family income as a cornerstone for household harmony. This study not only contributes to the academic discourse on ḥadīth but also offers insights into the multifaceted impacts of @FaqihAbdulKodir’s channel on individuals’ perceptions and practices in their daily lives.

Abstract

This article explores aspects of gender equality in the context of divorce, with a study focus on the hadith that discuss divorce actions taken by women. This study aims to explore a deeper understanding of the Islamic view of divorce initiated by women and its impact on gender equality in society. By detailing the various relevant hadiths, the study analyzes the context, law, and wisdom behind the ruling. The results of this study show that women can terminate their marriage by filing a khul' (sue for divorce) before a religious court. With this, it is hoped that every married couple has the awareness to carry out their duties and treat their spouses well, so that the harmony and integrity of the household can be maintained.

Abstract

The injustice of women is still rampant today. People often use religious teachings to perpetuate patriarchal systems. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of women's justice in Islam from the perspective of Asghar Ali Engineer. This research uses qualitative methods with a library research approach, namely research conducted by reading the concept of equality of women used in the book "The Right of Women in Islam", data collection techniques in this study are carried out by reading, understanding, and examining parts of the book that are relevant to the theme of discussion, then content analysis is carried out to obtain a clear understanding of the information or data obtained. The result of this study is the concept of women's justice in Islam perspective Aghar Ali Engineer can be seen in his thoughts which are summarized on several themes, namely: Asghar criticism of women's justice, women's leadership, women's testimony, inheritance of women, women in marriage, and women and divorce. From these themes have shown about the various criticisms made by Asghar in order to defend women's justice, it can be understood that Asghar rejects various legal foundations that normatively degrade women.

Abstract

Abstract: Along with the development of the times, some individuals perform sex reassignment surgery because they feel that their current body is not following their psyche. Individuals who perform sex reassignment surgery are called transsexuals. In Indonesia, after performing a sex change operation, you can apply to the District Court to get a change of identity on your residence card. When they have officially changed their gender and identity, the question that will be asked is whether the rights they will get will be the same as the rest of the general public. One of the rights of each individual is to carry out marriage, which is a marriage between a man and a woman. However, in Indonesia, there are no regulations regarding marriages carried out by transsexuals. So there is a need for a study of transsexual marriage, which would be appropriate if viewed from the perspective of natural rights theory. The purpose of this study is to describe transsexual marriage from the perspective of natural rights theory. This type of research is normative legal research using a conceptual approach. Based on the analysis carried out, it can be seen that marriages performed by transsexuals are not legal according to religion and the state because they violate the boundaries and rules that have been set by the state.Keywords:  Marriage; Transsexual; Natural Rights.Abstrak: Seiring dengan perkembangan masa terdapat beberapa individu yang melakukan operasi pergantian kelamin karena merasa tubuh yang dimilikinya sekarang tidak sesuai dengan kejiwaannya. Individu yang melakukan operasi pergantian kelamin disebut dengan transeksual. Di Indonesia sendiri, setelah melakukan operasi pergantian kelamin maka dapat mengajukan ke Pengadilan Negeri untuk mendapatkan perubahan identitas pada kartu kependudukannya. Ketika secara resmi telah berubah kelamin serta identitasnya, maka yang akan menjadi pertanyaan adalah terkait hak-hak yang akan didapatkannya apakah akan dipersamakan dengan masyarakat umum lainnya. Salah satu hak setiap individu adalah melaksanakan perkawinan, yang mana perkawinan tersebut antara laki-laki dengan perempuan. Namun di Indonesia tidak ada aturan terkait perkawinan yang dilakukan oleh transeksual. Sehingga perlu adanya kajian tentang perkawinan transeksual, yang mana akan tepat jika ditinjau dari perspektif teori hak kodrati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perkawinan transeksual yang ditinjau dari perspektif teori hak kodrati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan konseptual. Berdasarkan analisa yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa perkawinan yang dilakukan oleh transeksual tidak sah menurut agama dan negara karena melanggar batasan-batasan dan aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh negara.Kata Kunci: Perkawinan; Transeksual; Hak Kodrati.

Abstract

This research explores the phenomenon of ta'lim and salawat through Majlis Maulid wa al-Ta'lim Riyad al-Jannah as an embodiment of the concept of living hadith which functions to emulate the da'wah of the Prophet PBUH. Observation, interviews, and documentation were carried out in the ta'lim assembly, while condensation analysis, data presentation, and triangulation techniques were used for data validation. The results of the study reveal several main points: 1) The concept of prophetic character formation is based on the Qur'an, hadith, culture, and liberation-transcendent humanist values; 2) Salawat hadith is the basis for worshippers to salawat as a form of prayer for blessings and peace of life; 3) The implementation of prophetic character formation is carried out through three paths: the formation of an understanding of prophetic values, the habituation of prophetic values through culture, and the development of discipline; 4) The implications of the formation of prophetic character result in individual transformation (personal change) and social (active in religious, environmental, and community activities). This transformation also has an impact on the taklim council as a universal holistic education base.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam saat ini merupakan bagian penting dari kurikulum sekolah dasar, namun metode pembelajaran yang digunakan seringkali kurang maksimal. Pembelajaran sering terbatas pada membaca dan menghafal, tanpa adanya proses yang mendorong rasa ingin tahu siswa. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, diperlukan inovasi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) tentang Kisah Hijrah Nabi Muhammad S.A.W ke Madinah di SDN 5 Merjosari Malang untuk siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada teori Borg and Gall dengan delapan langkah penelitian: potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain produk, uji coba produk, revisi uji coba produk, dan produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan valid, menarik, dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan software Lectora Inspire mempermudah penyajian materi secara menarik dan interaktif, sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar dan memahami konsep-konsep pelajaran dengan lebih baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a concept of plural thinking character which is integrated with an Islamic religious education approach both in practical and practical aspects. At UPN Veteran East Java, through strengthening the National Defense Character, the process of forming a plural thinking character can be analyzed. The diversity that exists at UPN Veteran Jatm certainly creates potential for intersections and gaps in both thought and action, but by forming a plural thinking character these intersections and gaps can be minimized and overcome. A qualitative approach was chosen in this research to look into literacy and other data sources that are closely related to research with the theme of integration of plural thinking characters. The meaning of leading will be answered with the perspective of various thoughts about pluralism. Good pluralism of religions, cultures, traditions and nations. Therefore, the result of this research is the concept of plural thinking character integration which is closely related to awareness of diversity, especially those built at UPN Verteran East Java.

Abstract

This research aims to examine multiculturalism from the perspective of the Qur’an and Hadith and how it is implemented in the world of education. This research uses library research. The results of this research show that many verses from the Qur’an and Hadith explain diversity, including race, ethnicity, nation, language, and even religion. However, this diversity is not meant to bring each other down, but rather to get to know each other's. Thus, it is clear that long before the word "multiculturalism" existed, the Qur'an and Hadith already proclaimed it. Furthermore, the three principles of multiculturalism that can be applied in the world of education are tolerance, respect for all people regardless of their background, and justice. In its implementation, several steps must be taken to ensure that the learning environment reflects and respects students' cultural, religious, ethnic, and social diversity, namely: 1. Inclusive curriculum, 2. Training for teachers and staff, 3. Promotion of intercultural experiences, 4. Use of representative learning materials, 5. Development of intercultural skills, 6. Fair and skills-based assessment, and finally support for students from various cultural backgrounds. As a result, it is hoped that understanding multiculturalism will help students become more humanist, democratic, and pluralist in their lives.

Abstract

New Indonesia, until this era still become an issue. Various forums of seminars and dialogues are held in order to find meaning and format forward the figure of a new Indonesia. The concept of Islamic universalism and its contribution in the New Indonesia construct can depart from the thought of the concept of al dharnriyat al khamsab, which of course includes its all-encompassing human and humanitarian history of Indonesia, which in many ways is diversity, in accordance with the concept of rahmatan Iil al alamin. Each component of the nation is required to have a prerequisite in the form of independence and democratization which includes freedom, justice and equality. Prerequisites intended, demanding implementation not only by the community but also good will and political will from the ruling elite. The actualization of the values of Islamic universalism in order to lead to New Indonesia is not just a mere academic camouflage. Indonesia baru, hingga detik inipun masih menjadi bahan perbincangan yang cukup menarik. Berbagai forum seminar dan dialog diselenggarakan dalam rangka mencari makna dan format ke depan sosok Indonesia baru. Konsep universalisme Islam dan konstribusinya dalam konstruk Indonesia Baru dapat berangkat dari pemikiran tentang konsep al dharnriyat al khamsab, yang tentu saja pemanahannya mencakup seluruh manusia dan perjalanan sejarah kemanusiaan Indonesia, yang dalam banyak hal bersifat diversity, sesuai dengan konsep rahmatan Iil al alamin. Setiap komponen bangsa diharuskan memiliki prasyarat berupa independensi dan demokratisasi yang meliputi freedom, justice dan equality. Prasyarat dimaksud, menuntut implementasi tidak hanya oleh masyarakat tetapi juga good will and political will dari elite penguasa. Teraktualisasikannya nilai-nilai universalisme Islam dalam rangka menuju Indonesia Baru bukan hanya kamuflase akademik belaka.

Abstract

Javanese Islam has a character and a unique religious expressions. This is because the spread of Islam in Java, more dominant takes the form of acculturation, both absorbing and dialogical. The pattern of Islam and Javanese acculturation, as well as can be seen on the expression of the Java community, is also supported by the political power of Islamic kingdom of Java, especially Mataram which had brought Islam to the Javanese cosmology Hinduism and Buddhism. Although there are f luctuations in the relation of Islam to the Javanese culture, especially the era of the 19th century, but the face looks acculturative Javanese Islam dominant in almost every religious expressions Muslim communities in this region, so the aspect of ”syncretic” and tolerance of religions into one distinctive cultural character of Javanese Islam. Agama Islam di Jawa memiliki karakter dan ekspresi keberagamaan yang unik. Hal ini karena penyebaran Islam di Jawa, lebih dominan mengambil bentuk akultrasi, baik yang bersifat menyerap maupun dialogis. Pola akulturasi Islam dan budaya Jawa, di samping bisa dilihat pada ekspresi masyarakat Jawa, juga didukung dengan kekuasaan politik kerajaan Islam Jawa, terutama Mataram yang berhasil mempertemukan Islam Jawa dengan kosmologi Hinduisme dan Budhisme. Kendati ada fluktuasi relasi Islam dengan budaya Jawa terutama era abad ke 19-an, namun wajah Islam Jawa yang akulturatif terlihat dominan dalam hampir setiap ekspresi keberagamaan masyarakat muslim di wilayah ini, sehingga ”sinkretisme” dan toleransi agama-agama menjadi satu watak budaya yang khas bagi Islam Jawa.
