Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the implementation of Pancasila values in the Sedekah Lebaran tradition in Tanah Periuk Village, Muara Beliti Subdistrict, Musi Rawas Regency. This tradition arose from the social needs of an agrarian community that in the past rarely had time to interact due to their busy farming schedules, so that during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, collective activities were held to strengthen relationships, maintain solidarity, and reinforce unity. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Sedekah Lebaran tradition is a tangible manifestation of the implementation of all five principles of Pancasila: the first principle through communal prayer, the second principle in the attitude of mutual forgiveness and equal treatment of all citizens, the third principle in community unity without discrimination, the fourth principle in deliberation and collective agreement to preserve traditions, and the fifth principle through mutual cooperation and equal visits to every house. This tradition not only serves as a cultural heritage, but also as a medium for moral, spiritual, and national education that is relevant in the midst of modernisation, while also demonstrating the integration between Islamic teachings and local wisdom in creating social harmony. Abstract

The rapid development of technology and the growing complexity of citizenship challenges in the digital era highlight the need to revitalise Civic Education based on a strong philosophical foundation. This study analyses Udin S. Winataputra’s philosophical framework on the concept of smart and good citizenship and examines its relevance for strengthening Civic Education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative library research method, this study draws primarily from Winataputra’s 2001 dissertation and supplements it with contemporary scholarly works on citizenship, digital literacy, and civic virtue. The findings show that Winataputra’s concept integrates cognitive competencies (smart) with moral–character dispositions (good), forming a holistic paradigm for civic development. This dual framework aligns with global discussions on transformative citizenship, digital ethics, and democratic education. The study concludes that Winataputra’s philosophical contributions provide a significant foundation for redesigning Civic Education to cultivate responsible, critical, and ethically aware citizens in the digital age. Implications for curriculum development and digital citizenship education are also discussed.

Abstract

Civic engagement includes social and political dimensions, and the two dimensions are interrelated in line with this. In this study, the author uses the Scientific Procedures and Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews protocol (SPAR-4-SLR). In the protocol, there are three stages and six sub-stages. The stages consist of Assembling, Arranging, and Assessing, and the sub-stages consist of Identification, Acquisition, Organization, Purification, Evaluation, and Reporting. Furthermore, the author used thematic, descriptive, and bibliometric analysis techniques. In bibliometric analysis, the author used the VOSviewer application version 1.6.20. The study's results using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the SPAR-4-SLR protocol show the breadth of research developments related to digital citizenship and civic engagement in various topics and various types of studies or methods. The diversity of country and institutional backgrounds of the authors of articles related to Digital Citizenship and Civic Engagement from each article also shows the broad interest value in the category.

Abstract

Reyog Ponorogo merupakan sebuah kesenian non benda yang berasal dari kota Ponorogo yang tumbuh dari kepercayaan animisme dan dinamisme jaman dulu. Keragaman jenis Reyog yang bervariasi menimbulkan perbedaan dari segi pertunjukannya yang membuat berbagai pemikiran negatif muncul di kalangan masyarakat. Peran mahasiswa perlu ditingkatkan menjadi agen penggerak untuk memberikan alternatif solusi yang terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran mahasiswa mereduksi stigma negatif reyog ponorogo melalui pendekatan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dalam pengembangan budaya Reyog Santri ponorogo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi, display dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kesenian Reyog Ponorogo kerap dihadapkan pada berbagai stigma negatif di masyarakat, seperti anggapan bahwa kesenian ini sarat akan hal mistis, menyimpang dari norma agama, erotis, hingga dianggap ketinggalan zaman. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan memiliki peran krusial dalam meluruskan stigma tersebut dengan cara mengkaji dan mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai sejarah, filosofis, serta pesan budi pekerti luhur yang sebenarnya tertanam kuat dalam setiap tokoh dan elemen seni Reyog serta mahasiswa dapat menjadi pionir dalam pengembangan inovasi Reyog Santri. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi agar para generasi muda membuat komunitas seni di daerahnya masing-masing agar menjadi bagian pengembangan nilai-nilai filosofis moral budaya di tengah-tengah perkembangan teknologi dan budaya secara global.Kata kunci: Reyog; Ponorogo; Mahasiswa; Kearifan lokal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam tradisi  Ngidang Ngobeng serta menganalisis relevansinya sebagai sumber pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) yang berbasis budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur dengan menelaah berbagai artikel ilmiah, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan dengan tradisi lokal, civic culture, dan pembelajaran PPKn. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran, seleksi, serta analisis isi terhadap literatur yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi  Ngidang Ngobeng mengandung nilai kewarganegaraan diantaranya yaitu, gotong royong, kesetaraan, kebersamaan, solidaritas sosial, partisipasi, tanggung jawab, dan religiusitas. Nilai-nilai tersebut tercermin dalam pola interaksi sosial, tata pelaksanaan, serta peran setiap individu selama tradisi berlangsung. Dalam konteks PPKn, tradisi ini relevan sebagai sumber pembelajaran kontekstual karena mampu menghubungkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan kewarganegaraan dengan pengalaman nyata peserta didik. Dengan demikian, tradisi  Ngidang Ngobeng berpotensi dimanfaatkan untuk memperkuat pembentukan karakter, kesadaran sosial, dan sikap kewarganegaraan generasi muda melalui pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Kata kunci:  Ngidang Ngobeng, PPKn, Budaya

Abstract

Kajian ini menelaah kedudukan nilai “Dalihan Na Tolu” dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik remaja sebagai dimensi pengetahuan serta relevansinya bagi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Gejala permasalahan moral, berkurangnya penghormatan sosial, dan rendahnya penghayatan terhadap budaya lokal memperlihatkan kebutuhan akan penguatan pendidikan karakter yang lebih kontekstual. Pendekatan yang dipakai berupa Systematic Literature Review dengan acuan PRISMA 2020, melalui penelusuran pada database Scopus, selama periode 2022–2026, sehingga diperoleh 18 artikel layak telaah. Sintesis data memperlihatkan bahwa nilai somba marhula-hula, manat mardongan tubu, dan elek marboru berperan dalam menumbuhkan sikap hormat, tanggung jawab, solidaritas, empati, serta kesadaran sosial peserta didik. Temuan tersebut menempatkan dalihan na tolu sebagai civic values berbasis kearifan lokal yang menguatkan civic culture, civic knowledge, dan civic disposition. Kebaruan kajian ini terletak pada penegasan budaya lokal sebagai sumber pembelajaran kewarganegaraan kontemporer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of democratic values through the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) under the theme “Voice of Democracy” in the student council election at SMAN 1 Kota Batu.  Studies on the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) have largely focused on program implementation and general character formation, while the internalization of democratic values through school-based democratic practices remains underexplored. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis.  The research instruments include interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation study guidelines. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data trustworthiness was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that the student council election within P5 functions as a school-based democratic laboratory, not merely as an electoral routine. The internalization of democratic values occurs through three main stages: nomination and campaign, candidate debate, and voting and vote counting. These stages foster students’ responsibility, tolerance, reciprocity awareness, open-mindedness, sportsmanship, honesty, and procedural discipline. The study concludes that P5 under the “Voice of Democracy” theme provides a substantive democratic learning experience and contributes to strengthening students’ democratic attitudes within the framework of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

The Pantauan Bunting tradition is part of a series of traditional wedding customs that not only serve as a social ceremony but are also rich in the values of mutual cooperation, deliberation, responsibility, religiosity, and the strengthening of cultural identity and nationalism. This study aims to examine the civic values embedded in the Pantauan Bunting tradition among the Besemah community in South Sumatra, as well as its relevance as a medium for civic education. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review. The results indicate that the values embedded in this tradition align with civic values and can be realized through a contextual approach in education, enabling students to concretely understand civic values through case studies, project-based work, and teacher assessment. The novelty of this study lies in its effort to integrate the Pantauan Bunting tradition as a contextual learning resource that can be utilized in the Civic Education learning process, so that local culture is understood not only as a cultural heritage but also as an educational tool for shaping students’ civic character. This study is limited to an examination of the civic values embodied in the Pantauan Bunting tradition among the Besemah people and its relevance as a teaching tool for Civic Education (PPKn). This study also makes a more specific contribution to the development of Pancasila and Civic Education learning, namely as a means of shaping and instilling social values that align with educational goals.
