Abstract

Abstract

People with Schizophrenia (ODS) are people with mental disorders whose rights need to be fulfilled to receive treatment in order to recover optimally. Communities and even ODS families often do not understand that schizophrenia can be treated and requires family and community support. ODS actually often gets a negative stigma from society. Community Health Empowerment for Early-Detecting and Reintegrating of Schizophrenia (CHEERS) is a community empowerment program that helps ODS recovery, one of which is through the role of mental health cadres. Mental health cadres are tasked with assisting ODS, conducting early detection of mental disorders and conducting outreach about Schizophrenia to caregivers and the community. Compliance with taking medication from ODS received guidance from cadres. ODS conditions are more stable and not easy to recover with assistance from cadres. Family and community support for ODS is better, thereby increasing ODS recovery to be more optimal. Early detection and outreach about schizophrenia increases public understanding so that the negative stigma against ODS is reduced and ODS who have not received treatment receive treatment at health facilities.

Abstract

Higher education institutions must implement appropriate evaluation and strategy determination to support their role in establishing a Sustainable Campus. This study aims to (1) evaluate the implementation of the sustainable campus program at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), (2) analyze the dominance of internal (IFAS) and external (EFAS) factors at UNS, and (3) formulate strategies that UNS should implement to strengthen its sustainable campus initiatives-the implementation evaluation utilized data from the UNS GreenMetric report. The factor dominance analysis employed IFAS and EFAS, while the strategy formulation used SWOT-TOWS analysis. The findings indicate that UNS has stagnant scores in the Water (WR) and Transportation (TR) indicators. Furthermore, UNS’s strengths lie in its open space availability and sustainable academic programs, though this advantage is hindered by limited budget allocation for toxic waste management. Based on the analysis, the recommended course of action for UNS is the Strengths-Opportunities (SO) strategy. The implementation of this SO strategy is necessary for UNS to advance its role as a sustainable campus successfully. This study implies that the integration of sustainability performance evaluation using UI GreenMetric data with IFAS, EFAS, and SWOT-TOWS analysis provides a structured basis for identifying dominant strategic conditions and formulating strength-oriented strategies to improve sustainable campus implementation at Universitas Sebelas Maret. The study implies that Universitas Sebelas Maret should utilize sustainability assessment results as strategic inputs rather than merely as reporting tools, enabling more targeted interventions in critical areas such as water and transportation management. These findings may further contribute to the development of management strategies derived from SWOT and TOWS analyses in other universities across Indonesia.

Abstract

The SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method, also known as the Scoring Method or Weighted Sum Method, is a simple yet effective multi-criteria decision-making technique. SAW works by calculating the total sum of weighted scores for each alternative. However, this method is sensitive to weights, so subjective weight selection can affect the final results. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of combining two decision support methods to be implemented in comparing fuel-efficient LSUV (Low Sport Utility Vehicle) vehicles. The methods used are ROC (Rank Order Centroid) for weighting criteria and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) applied to multi-criteria decisions in determining the performance ranking of each vehicle. After in-depth analysis, this study shows that the combination of the ROC and SAW methods can provide a clear picture of the advantages of each vehicle and is effective for assessing the fuel efficiency of LSUVs in Indonesia based on the established criteria. The conclusion of this study provides recommendations on the use of a combination of these two methods for more accurate and effective analysis in supporting decision making.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Agricultural Land Area, Labor Force in Agriculture, Rainfall, and Trade Openness on Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing, Value Added (% of Gross Domestic Product) across 13 West African countries from 1991 to 2022. Using panel data regression, the analysis shows that Agriculture Land Area and Labor Force Agriculture have a positive influence on Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing, Value Added (% of Gross Domestic Product), although this effect is limited by land degradation and low labor productivity. RF has a positive but inconsistent impact due to its dependence on rain-fed agriculture, whereas TO significantly boosts growth through market integration. Country-specific factors, like infrastructure and policy frameworks, influence these relationships. These results underscore the importance of policies that optimize land use, enhance labor skills, mitigate climate variability, and expand market access, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
