Abstract

Ecopedagogy learning is important to implement in an effort to preserve the environment and shape students' Green behaviour. This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in internalising Green behaviour in students through learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with observation and interview data collection techniques. This research was conducted in elementary schools in Tlanakan sub-district that have integrated learning with environmental awareness. The results of this study are that there are three Green behaviours, namely caring for the earth, caring for the surrounding environment and being wise in waste management. The teacher's strategy in shaping the behaviour of caring for the earth by making slogans, habituation of bringing bottles and providing examples. Caring for the environment by planting local plants, greening and processing organic waste as fertiliser. Wise in waste management by joining the P5 project by making creations from used goods, ecoprint batik and saving waste in plastic bottles. The internalisation of Green behaviour provides many benefits to students' behaviour in protecting the environment. And the strategies carried out by teachers provide direct experience and learning.

Abstract

Bilingualism is a common phenomenon in Indonesian society, where the majority of people use two or more languages. In Pamekasan, particularly among the Arab descendant community, Madurese, Indonesian, and Arabic are used according to their respective functions. This situation gives rise to various linguistic phenomena such as code-switching, code-mixing, and interference, occurring in both formal and informal contexts. This phenomenon is worth studying as it relates to bilingualism and diglossia. The aim of this study is to describe the level of bilingualism among the Arab descendant speech community in the Arab quarter of Pamekasan, as well as its relationship with diglossia and the factors that influence it. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data consisting of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences from the daily speech of the community. The data sources were bilingual Arab descendants residing in the Arab quarter. Data collection techniques included non-participant observation and note-taking, and the analysis was conducted critically through identification, classification, interpretation, and description. The results show, first, that coordinate bilingualism is more dominant than subordinate or compound bilingualism. Second, the Arab descendant community in Pamekasan is bilingual but not diglossic. Third, factors influencing these linguistic phenomena include bilingualism itself, interlocutors, speech situations, prestige, and language acquisition. In conclusion, the Arab descendant community in Pamekasan demonstrates strong bilingual competence with a tendency toward coordinate bilingualism but without diglossia. Abstract

This research stems from the need for Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA), which not only emphasizes linguistic aspects but also promotes cultural integration in a cross-cultural context, particularly in Europe. This study aims to analyze the integration of Indonesian linguistic and cultural aspects in the process of cross-cultural BIPA learning in Europe, as well as how the cultural elements of each learner contribute to their language skills outcomes. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection primarily conducted through online classroom observation and analysis of learners' language skills. The results show that there is integration of each learner's culture in the results of their language skills. In speaking and writing skills, learners not only use Indonesian vocabulary and language structures, but also adapt expressions, communication styles, and cultural values from their home countries to the Indonesian context. In reading and listening skills, learners are able to interpret cultural meanings in texts and audio, while comparing them with their own cultural experiences. Cultural integration in learning is a study that offers a new perspective on how intercultural competence can be systematically built through pedagogical designs that are sensitive to the socio-cultural context of learners, as well as providing practical implications for the development of BIPA learning that is more adaptive, inclusive, and effective in improving cross-cultural communication success.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are certain competencies or abilities achieved by students after participating in the teaching and learning process and include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. Learning outcomes are related to changes in knowledge, understanding, attitudes and behavior in a person due to the learning they do. Changes caused by growth are not included in learning outcomes. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects in class VIII-A at MTsN 1 Pamekasan. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles. The subjects of the study were 26 students. cycle 1 with an average value of 66.42 and a learning completion value of 38.46%, this shows good development when compared to before. it can be concluded that the objectives that the researcher had hoped to have achieved, namely to improve student learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects in the cognitive aspect using the snowball throwing learning model

Abstract

Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah di Pamekasan menghadapi kendala dalam menerapkan prinsip gizi seimbang dan manajemen menu harian bagi para santrinya. Permasalahan utama terletak pada proses perencanaan konsumsi yang masih bersifat sederhana dan praktis tanpa standar gizi yang terukur. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk menerapkan Model Tata Gizi (Aman, Terstruktur, Adaptif, Inklusif, Zahir, dan Inovatif) guna meningkatkan kualitas asupan nutrisi dan efisiensi manajemen pangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang meliputi tahapan identifikasi, perencanaan, aksi (pelatihan), dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan pada empat panti asuhan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam pengetahuan mitra, di mana pada tahap pascates (post-test) sebanyak 40% peserta mencapai nilai sempurna. Selain itu, program ini berhasil membentuk sistem menu mingguan yang terstruktur, melibatkan santri dalam pengelolaan dapur, serta mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal. Kesimpulannya, Model Tata Gizi terbukti menjadi solusi pengelolaan gizi berbasis komunitas yang efektif dan efisien untuk mendukung kesejahteraan santri secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the era of Industry 4.0 has brought significant changes to children’s lives, particularly in how they interact, learn, and build moral awareness thereby creating an urgent need for technology ethics education from an early age. Studies on futuristic children’s literature have mostly focused on representations of technology, digital literacy, and future imagination, while the integration of technology ethics and children’s spirituality remains limited. This study aims to examine how futuristic children’s literature represents spirituality-based technology ethics education through narratives that build digital-spiritual ethical awareness and the imagination of future ethics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with narrative analysis of the novel The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. The findings indicate that futuristic children’s literature is able to fosters ethical awareness through relationships, empathy, and self-restraint, and project the imagination of future ethics oriented toward moral responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the responses and learning outcomes of students through Wordwall-based formative evaluation in explanatory text learning. Various challenges in 21st-century learning require evaluation innovations that not only measure academic achievement, but are able to foster active involvement, collaboration, and overall student learning motivation. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design of the Kemmis and McTaggart model with a descriptive qualitative approach, involving 27 ninth-grade students of Nasyrul Ulum Middle School as purposively selected subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with expert-validated instruments, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, and validated through triangulation and member check techniques. The results show an increase in student understanding from 61.11% in cycle I to 80.22% in cycle II, accompanied by enthusiasm, active participation, and higher learning motivation. Wordwall has been proven to be effective in producing interactive and interactive evaluations, as well as other digital media as innovative alternatives in learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respons dan hasil belajar siswa melalui evaluasi formatif berbasis Wordwall dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi.Berbagai tantangan dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut adanya inovasi evaluasi yang tidak hanya mengukur capaian akademik, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif, kolaborasi, dan motivasi belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melibatkan 27 siswa kelas IX SMP Nasyrul Ulum sebagai subjek yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen yang divalidasi ahli, dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, serta divalidasi melalui teknik triangulasi dan member check.Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dari 61,11% pada siklus I menjadi 80,22% pada siklus II, disertai antusiasme, partisipasi aktif, dan motivasi belajar yang lebih tinggi.Wordwall terbukti efektif menciptakan evaluasi yang interaktif dan bermakna, serta mendorong pengembangan media evaluasi digital lainnya sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi semakin berkembang dan memperngaruhi kegiata belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi perspektif mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Indonesia IAIN Madura terhadap penggunaan Chat GPT dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Chat GPT sebagai aplikasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) menawarkan berbagai manfaat dalam proses pembelajaran, termasuk membantu menyelesaikan tugas, memahami materi, dan meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data kuantitatif dengan angket yang disebarkan ke mahasiswa. Sedangkan kualitatif melalui wawancaran, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Chat GPT memiliki dampak positif signifikan, membantu mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tugas dan mencari referensi materi. Frekuensi penggunaannya bervariasi, dengan sumber informasi utama dari teman dan media sosial. Mayoritas mahasiswa merasa terbantu dan menilai positif penggunaan Chat GPT, meskipun ada tantangan dalam menilai keakuratan informasi. Sebagian besar responden merasa bahwa Chat GPT cukup atau sangat mempengaruhi hasil belajar dan membantu memahami materi, serta efektif dalam pengembangan keterampilan menulis.

Abstract

Digital media such as YouTube are increasingly being used in learning because they can present material in an engaging and contextual manner. This study aims to describe the use of YouTube in teaching speaking skills in eighth-grade students at Darul Iman Junior High School in Pamekasan. The approach used was descriptive qualitative with a case study method, through direct observation and interviews with the Indonesian language teacher and one student. The results showed that watching YouTube videos can increase students' self-confidence, expand vocabulary, and help them understand sentence structure and the content of spoken messages. However, teachers face challenges such as limited internet access, limited facilities, and difficulty in selecting appropriate content. With proper management, YouTube can be used as an effective and enjoyable learning tool to support students' speaking skills. Media digital seperti YouTube semakin banyak dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran karena mampu menyajikan materi secara menarik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media YouTube dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara di kelas VIII SMP Darul Iman Pamekasan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui observasi langsung serta wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia dan satu siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tayangan video YouTube mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, memperluas penguasaan kosakata, serta membantu memahami struktur kalimat dan isi pesan lisan. Meski demikian, guru menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses internet, minimnya fasilitas, serta kesulitan dalam memilih konten yang sesuai. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, media YouTube dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan dalam mendukung keterampilan berbicara siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the government's role in overcoming the Covid-19 problem through the socialization of PrayfromHome as an effort to improve ways to improve themselves in increasing the immunity of religious communities. This was done because a vaccine for the Covid-19 virus has not yet been found. To find out the role of the government, the researchers conducted data collection based on the propositions contained in the virtual joint editorial prayer offered by policy makers and representatives of interfaith prayer. The method used in this research is a qualitative research based on cyber pragmatics based on each thematic content contained in the editorial propositions of the prayers offered. The results of the study show that Pray from home activities have thematic content which is divided into (1) from the policy makers, the Covid-19 outbreak requires every religious adherent to provide physical and mental enthusiasm as an initial provision of intangible vaccines for the Indonesian people, (2) from the representative side of inter-religious prayer that raises several inner conditions, including (a) there are several acknowledgments of mistakes for all actions carried out in the world to the Creator before asking for the world to return to normal, (b) the existence of a form of superiority of God's natural power, as the greatest power, a place to surrender, (c) hope for all parties involved or at the forefront in handling the Covid-19 pandemic so as not to provide strength and safety during the handling process. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran pemerintah dalam mengatasi permasalahan Covid-19 melalui sosialisasi doa bersama PrayfromHome sebagai upaya meningkatkan keimanan yang berujung pada peningkatan imun umat beragama. Hal itu dilakukan karena vaksin dari virus Covid-19 belum ditemukan. Untuk mengetahui peran pemerintah tersebut, peneliti melakukan pengambilan data berdasarkan proposisi-proposisi yang terdapat dalam redaksional doa bersama secara virtual yang dipanjatkan oleh pemangku kebijakan dan perwakilan pendoa antaragama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif berbasis analisis pragmatik siber berdasarkan setiap muatan tematik yang terdapat dalam proposisi-proposisi redaksional doa yang dipanjatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan Pray from Home memiliki muatan tematik yang terbagi atas (1) dari sisi pemangku kebijakan, adanya wabah pandemi Covid-19 ini mengharuskan setiap pemeluk agama untuk memberikan penguatan diri secara fisik maupun mental sebagai bekal awal vaksin tak benda bagi masyarakat Indonesia, (2) dari sisi perwakilan pendoa antaragama yang memunculkan beberapa kondisi batiniah, di antaranya (a) terdapat beberapa pengakuan kekhilafan atas segala perbuatan yang dilakukan didunia kepada Sang Pencipta sebelum meminta agar dunia kembali seperti sediakala, (b) adanya bentuk superioritas kekuatan alami Tuhan, sebagai kekuatan terbesar, tempat memasrahkan diri, (c) terselipkan harapan kepada semua pihak yang terlibat atau garda terdepan dalam penanganan pandemi Covid-19 agar diberikan kekuatan serta keselamatan selama proses penanangan wabah berlangsung.
