Abstract

This community service aims to improve the competency of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Pamekasan Regency in creating Madurese literature learning media based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology, teachers are actively involved in the needs identification, planning, training implementation, and result evaluation process. This training focuses on using AI technology to create interactive and engaging learning media, expected to motivate students to understand Madurese literature. The activity results show improved teachers' understanding and skills in applying AI technology in teaching. The teachers successfully developed AI-based media that can be integrated into the Madurese literature curriculum, making the teaching and learning process more creative and effective. The impact of this activity is expected to improve the quality of Madurese literature learning and encourage teachers to continuously innovate in using technology in the classroom.[Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Pamekasan dalam membuat media pembelajaran sastra Madura berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI). Melalui metodologi Participatory Action Research (PAR), para guru dilibatkan secara aktif dalam proses identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi hasil. Pelatihan ini fokus pada penggunaan teknologi AI untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik, diharapkan mampu memotivasi siswa dalam memahami sastra Madura. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengaplikasikan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran. Para guru berhasil mengembangkan media berbasis AI yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum sastra Madura sehingga proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih kreatif dan efektif. Dampak kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sastra Madura dan mendorong guru untuk terus berinovasi dalam menggunakan teknologi di kelas.]

Abstract

Ecological intelligence is crucial in enhancing human awareness of environmental issues. However, there is a lack of research on how environmental care attitudes are developed through the learning process in the classroom. This study aims to explore how students perceive environmental care attitudes based on ecological intelligence. The research used a quantitative methodology with a percentage technique and involved 120 students from Madrasah as the sample. Research data were obtained through a closed-ended questionnaire, and the data were analyzed through percentages. The findings show that students possess a high level of environmental care, as evidenced by the highest agreement level in the head (cognition) or learning to know with 89.3%, followed by the heart (affection) or learning to be with 86.5%, and then the hands (conation) or learning to do with 85.6%. The result indicates that students who participate in environmental care activities in school have good ecological intelligence. These results suggest that integrating ecological intelligence into classroom learning can effectively foster environmental care attitudes. Therefore, educators and curriculum developers should consider incorporating more environmental education components into daily instruction. Future research may explore the long-term impact of ecological intelligence-based learning on students’ environmental behavior outside school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A mata pelajaran IPS melalui media infografis di SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media infografis mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61,375 dan meningkat menjadi 86,375 pada siklus II. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas juga meningkat dari 21,87% menjadi 100%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media infografis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mendukung SDG 4 dengan menunjukkan bagaimana media infografis dapat meningkatkan akses yang setara ke pendidikan berkualitas, terutama bagi siswa dengan hasil belajar awal yang rendah. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan kesetaraan akses pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi guru dan sekolah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media infografis. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa media infografis dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dengan sumber daya terbatas.

Abstract

This study aims to find anticorruption values in the novel Orang-Orang Proyek (OOP) by Ahmad Tohari. The anti-corruption values analyzed refer to three main elements of anti-corruption attitudes, namely (a) core: honesty, discipline, and responsibility; (b) attitude: fairness, courage, and caring; and (c) work ethic: hard work, simplicity, and independence. These three elements are reflected through the character of the main character in the novel, Kabul, who faces various moral dilemmas and pressures in the world of construnction projects full of corrupt practices. The research method used is qualitative with a grounded theory approach. This approach allows the generalization of postmodern critical discourse theory and Pierre Bourdieu's cultural sociology to understand the power relations and social structures that shape the anti-corruption narrative in the novel. The results show that anti-corruption values in the novel Orang-Orang Proyek are reflected through the behavior and life principles of the main character who consistently rejects involvement in corrupt practices, despite facing great personal risks. The findings also emphasize the importance of moral education through literature, especially to instill an anti-corruption culture from an early age. Thus, the results of this study can be a practical recommendation in the development of character education curriculum among students. The introduction of anti-corruption values through literature is expected to build a generation with integrity and critical awareness of the dangers of corruption in everyday life.

Abstract

In today's educational system, the emphasis has switched from the teacher to the student as the primary focal point of the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of Project-Based Learning on students’ English language skills. The participants of this study were 20 sixth-semester students of English Education in one of the public universities in Central Java. This study used qualitative methods to obtain information and students' opinions about implementing Project-Based Learning to improve their English language skills. In collecting data, the researcher used a questionnaire collected through answers to an online survey to find out and analyze students' opinions. The results of the analysis showed that Project-Based Learning significantly improved students' abilities in terms of personal and interpersonal skills in English. However, the results were unsatisfactory because the researcher also found some problems students complained about when implementing this Project-Based Learning

Abstract

Hasil pengamatan awal siswa selama 3 bulan 20 hari di sekolah Anuban Muslim Satun School Thailand khususnya siswa yang duduk di sekolah setara sekolah dasar menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa kesulitan menulis huruf abjad dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan fasilitas kepada siswa agar dapat menulis ejaan bahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan benar setelah beberapa kali menyaksikan video interaktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis teks Parera berdasarkan hasil tulisan siswa.

Abstract

The success of the national cashless action will occur if all levels of society are familiar with and interested in using it, especially at the most basic level, thats a traditional-markets. The theory used to explain is the unified theory of acceptance and use technology (UTAUT). UTAUT is more appropriate to use because it can explain the use of digital payments voluntary and mandatory. The population in this study were merchant in the Pasar Manis Purwokerto, totalling 512 merchants. The minimum research sample based on Isaac and Michael was obtained as many as 220 respondents, while the data processed were 222 respondents. Data were analysed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study can only prove that performance expectancy has a significant positive effect and social influence has a significant negative effect on the intention to use digital payments. These results illustrate that traditional market traders are still in the ‘early adopter’ stage in accordance with one of the supporting theories of UTAUT, namely the technology acceptance model (TAM). Social influence has a negative effect coming from buyers and people around traders not forcing them to use the digital payment.

Abstract

This study explores the emotional disturbances experienced by Hendra, a fictional character in the Indonesian film “My Idiot Brother” (2014) and their impact on his receptive and productive language abilities. The research aims to investigate how emotional states such as anxiety, frustration, and confusion influence Hendra’s ability to understand (receptive) and express (productive) language. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study analyzes selected scenes from the film through content analysis to identify verbal and non-verbal patterns affected by emotional disruptions. Data were collected through observational documentation and categorized based on emotional themes and language functions. Findings reveal that Hendra’s receptive language is notably impaired in emotionally intense situations, reflected in delayed or incorrect responses to verbal instructions. Meanwhile, his productive language is characterized by avoidance of speech, disorganized sentence structures, and limited verbal expression, particularly under emotional stress. The analysis shows an evident interdependence between emotional regulation and linguistic performance, with emotional instability disrupting comprehension and verbal output. These results emphasize the importance of integrating emotional intelligence and language therapy in communication-based interventions. This study contributes to the interdisciplinary understanding of how emotional conditions influence language skills in media narratives. It supports the development of inclusive approaches for individuals with similar challenges in real-life contexts.   Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi gangguan emosional yang dialami oleh Hendra, tokoh fiksi dalam film Indonesia “My Idiot Brother” (2014), dan dampaknya terhadap kemampuan bahasa reseptif dan produktifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana keadaan emosional seperti kecemasan, frustrasi, dan kebingungan memengaruhi kemampuan Hendra untuk memahami (reseptif) dan mengekspresikan (produktif) bahasa. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis adegan-adegan terpilih dari film tersebut melalui analisis konten untuk mengidentifikasi pola verbal dan non-verbal yang dipengaruhi oleh gangguan emosional. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi observasional dan dikategorikan berdasarkan tema emosional dan fungsi bahasa. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa bahasa reseptif Hendra sangat terganggu dalam situasi yang sangat emosional, tercermin dalam respons yang tertunda atau salah terhadap instruksi verbal. Sementara itu, bahasa produktifnya ditandai dengan penghindaran bicara, struktur kalimat yang tidak teratur, dan ekspresi verbal yang terbatas, terutama di bawah tekanan emosional. Analisis menunjukkan saling ketergantungan yang jelas antara regulasi emosional dan kinerja linguistik, dengan ketidakstabilan emosional yang mengganggu pemahaman dan keluaran verbal. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya mengintegrasikan kecerdasan emosional dan terapi bahasa dalam intervensi berbasis komunikasi. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman interdisipliner tentang bagaimana kondisi emosional memengaruhi keterampilan bahasa dalam narasi media dan mendukung pengembangan pendekatan inklusif bagi individu dengan tantangan serupa dalam konteks kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

Through the feminist stylistic on Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2017) Live-Action remake, the paper argues that Walt Disney is not as inclusive and progressive as rumoured, but sexist. The study aims to uncover the characteristics of sexism in the context of linguistic derived from a gender-specific term. This study is qualitative research. The objects and data of this analysis are determined by purposive sampling. The object of this study is the text that appeared in the film Beauty and the Beast (2017) on a live-action remake. The data for this study are lexical items (single word, chain of words, and part of a word) that relate to gender-specific. The data analysed using the linguistic determinism theory of Sara Mill's feminist stylistic framework. This study reveals the presence of sexism at the word level. The findings are Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2017) Live-action remake shows the use of generic-noun and generic-pronouns appear in a sexist way, diminutive naming of gay and female characters, and negative terms used to portray female characters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan inovasi penggunaan FlipPoem, media flipbook interaktif, dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Indonesia UIN Madura serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap motivasi, kreativitas, dan keterampilan menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FlipPoem menyajikan teori puisi secara terstruktur dengan fitur kolom penulisan, ruang diskusi, dan publikasi digital antologi puisi, yang terbukti meningkatkan minat, motivasi, kreativitas, serta keterampilan menulis mahasiswa. Penerapan model Project-Based Learning melalui tugas antologi puisi berkelompok juga memperkuat kolaborasi dan literasi sastra. Kendati demikian, ditemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan keterampilan digital dan hambatan konektivitas internet. Penelitian ini terbatas pada satu kelas sehingga generalisasi masih perlu diperluas melalui penelitian lanjutan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah FlipPoem dapat menjadi alternatif media inovatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran sastra di era digital, dengan dukungan infrastruktur dan pelatihan teknis. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada pengembangan FlipPoem yang tidak hanya menyajikan teori menulis puisi, tetapi juga memfasilitasi praktik, kolaborasi, dan publikasi karya digital mahasiswa, sehingga memperkuat literasi sastra di perguruan tinggi.
