Abstract

This article aims to describe the management of students carried out by teachers at the As-Sunniah Kencong Islamic Boarding School for all students to master Arabic materials to help improve their ability to communicate in Arabic and the implications for student self-determination learning. The research approach used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques utilize observation, interviews, and documentation studies. In this study, researchers used several stages of data analysis, namely the reduction stage, the data presentation stage, making temporary conclusions, and verification activities. The study results concluded that two hours of lessons are scheduled weekly with material according to the level. Meanwhile, the management of students outside the classroom includes Daily Arabic Conversation, Arabic Speech Practice, and Arabic Speech Contests. The management of students in learning Arabic at the As-Sunniah Kencong Islamic Boarding School is that the learning systems and methods are pretty good and effective, learning is in line with Arabic learning theories, the awareness and interest of the students to speak Arabic have grown, and language environment has been built.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop internet-based instructional multimedia on Arabic listening course in IAIC Tasikmalaya, (2) describe the feasibility of internet-based intructional multimedia on Arabic listening course in IAIC Tasikmalaya, and (3) describe the use of of internet-based instructional multimedia on Arabic listening course in IAIC Tasikmalaya. This research method using the R & D (research and development) refers to research model created by Borg & Gall. The results showed that (1) development of internet-based intructional multimedia on Arabic listening course presented in the form of power point complicated by video and intructional materials, (2) the product is well worth about 3.60 level of intructional material feasibility and 3.70 level of multimedia feasibility and it can be received by students with average 3.30 level of their assessment, (3) the product is used with the classical and independent instructional model.

Abstract

Syarifuddin Islamic Boarding School Wonorejo Lumajang is one of the significant Islamic boarding schools in Lumajang, which can produce generations of memorizing the Qur'an with accountable reading quality. This is proven by the number of students who excel in the Musabaqoh Hifdzil Qur'an (MHQ) event at the district, provincial, and national levels and even being able to achieve at the ASEAN level. This study uses a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The selection of research subjects was carried out using a purposive technique. Data was collected through non-participant observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data obtained were analyzed through four data management activities guided by Miles and Huberman's procedures, including data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research shows that implementing the memorization of al-Qur'an learning method to accelerate students' memorization applies four methods: the muroja'ah method, the kitabah method, the sima'i method, and the test method. The muroja'ah, the sima'i, and test methods were applied by all students who memorized the Qur'an, while the kitabah method was only used by students who followed bit-tartil level.

Abstract

Improving education quality can be improved through the learning process that occurs directly in the classroom. TMI Al-Amien Prenduan is the first secondary further education institution based on muadalah and is under the auspices of the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school. Good classroom management is needed to achieve the objectives. This study aims to determine the implementation of classroom management and to find supporting and inhibiting factors of class management on Islamic Cultural History learning in class 1A TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. This research used a qualitative approach. Researchers collected data by using interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Data sources were obtained from teachers and learners. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. While the technique used to check the validity of the data is the triangulation technique The results of this study showed that: First, the implementation of classroom management on Islamic Cultural History learning in the class of IA TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan consisted of planning, implementing, and evaluating went well because the teacher had implemented several existing classroom management principles. Second, the supporting factors and inhibiting factors come from two factors, namely the teacher factor and the student factor.

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan bahan atau alat yang berguna untuk berkomusikasi, bahasa sendiri tersusun dari beberapa satuan, seperti kata, kelompok kata, klausa, dan kalimat yang terbentuk secara lisan ataupun tulisan dalam artikel jurnal ini akan dibahas bagaimana proses pemerolehan bahasa dan bagaimana pencegahan keterlambatan bahasa (speech Delay). Pada penulisan artikel ini, penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian Studi Kepustakaan (Library Research). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mencari melalui buku, literatur, artikel ilmiah, atau naskah-naskah yang berhubungan dengan pembahasan dari penelitian yang akan dipecahkan. Sifat dari penelitian ini yaitu bersifat deskriptif serta penulis juga mencantumkan prosedur-prosedur dalam penulisan artikel jurnal ini. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu speech delay adalah kondisi anak mendapatkan suatu kesulitan dalam berbicara secara jelas. Speech delay anak biasanya dikarenakan terlalu sering menonton sehingga tidak menstimulus anak untuk berbicara dan hanya membuat anak untuk mendengarkan saja dari pada ikut untuk bicara

Abstract

Vocabulary is the most important element in language and can be the main factor that leads to understanding the meaning of sentences in communication situations or in understanding reading texts. In fact, ninth semester students (I) of Islamic Junior high School State of 2 Bondowoso are lazy about teaching vocabulary, let alone memorizing and repeating it, because they have no desire to learn it, they see it. difficult to learn, and they feel bored because the teaching is monotonous. Researchers were able to develop the domino card method for teaching vocabulary. The research objectives of this study are 1) to determine the development of the domino card method in teaching vocabulary to students at Islamic Junior high School State of 2 Bondowoso, 2) to determine the validity of domino card media in teaching vocabulary to students there, 3) to determine the effectiveness of domino card media in vocabulary learning to students in it. The research methodology used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The data used is qualitative and quantitative, and the data collection tools are observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentaries. The sample used was 33 students. The data analysis method used is descriptive and SPSS 23.0.1.0.. The results of this research: 1) The development of the domino card method for teaching vocabulary was carried out through designing domino cards containing the vocabulary taught to students. 2) The validity of the assessment data from educational material experts is 95.8% and educational methods experts are 93.7%. This indicates that the product is at the “very good” level. 3) The t test (calculation) shows a value (sig) of less than 0.005, namely 0.000. Apart from that, the calculated t value was 20.302 and the t table degree was obtained. is at a significance level of 5% = 1.697, then the calculated t score is greater than the t table so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted for ninth grade students (I) of Islamic Junior high School State of 2 Bondowoso.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the Implementation of Authentic Assessment in Improving Maharah Kalam Students of Madrasah Aliyah Religious Programs (MANPK) in MAN 01 Jember. This research used descriptive qualitative, while the data collection technique used interviews, observation, documentation, While the techniques used in this research used technical validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources and techniques. interaction analysis with the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. From the results of this study, there are three assessments, namely knowledge, namely the teacher uses written test instruments and oral tests. The oral test is carried out at Maharah Kalam, while the written test is carried out after one lesson or at the end of the semester. The attitude assessment carried out in the MANPK program can be seen from the discipline aspects of students both in class and in the dormitory. Assessment of skills in learning Arabic in Maharah Kalam is direct practice when the teaching and learning process in class takes place using the book Al-'Arabiyah Lil Hayah and Al-'Arabiyah Baina Yadaik.

Abstract

This study aims to reflect back on educational goals and teacher criteria according to Plato and Al Ghazali. Writing this scientific paper using descriptive qualitative method through a comparative approach. Literature study is the data collection technique used and the data analysis technique used is to analyze the data or content analysis with the relevant data collection stages. The results of this study are the similarities in the educational goals of Plato's and Al-Ghazali's perspectives, both of which lead to efforts to get happiness. The educational goals of Plato's perspective put more emphasis on scientific abilities and character development so as to achieve individual and state happiness and prosperity. While the purpose of education according to al-Ghazali is an effort to form a perfect human being by getting closer to Allah so that he will get happiness in the world and the hereafter. This can be achieved through several aspects which include cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The similarity of the criteria for teachers from both perspectives, namely between Plato and Al Ghazali requires teachers to always do good, be diligent in worship because teachers are role models for their students. While the difference in the criteria for teachers from Plato's and Al Ghazali's perspectives is that Plato is more inclined so that teachers are able to master several criteria that prioritize cognitive aspects and position themselves as friends. Meanwhile, Al Ghazali is more inclined for teachers to prioritize affective aspects. So that teachers are expected to have characteristics that can bring happiness to the world and the hereafter and teachers must behave like parents to children. Al Ghazali also believes that a teacher must instill sincerity, sincerity, and not demand an honorarium as a teaching assignment.

Abstract

The curriculum development process is urgent in facilitating learners to achieve a specific educational goal in an institution. This study aims to analyse the development of the Arabic curriculum at Baitul Arqom Jember Islamic boarding school. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using the type of case study. The data collection method used observation, interview and documentation. The collected data was analysed with Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Baitul Arqom Islamic Boarding School is a muadalah Islamic boarding school alumni of PMDG Gontor and has gone through several stages of Arabic curriculum development, namely curriculum development at the national level, institutional level, class level, and learning level. Abstrak Proses pengembangan kurikulum mempunyai urgensi dalam memudahkan pembelajar mencapai satu tujaun pendidikan tertentu di sebuah institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan kurikulum bahasa Arab di pondok pesantren Baitul Arqom Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan model interkatif Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Baitul Arqom adalah pondok pesantren muadalah alumni PMDG Gontor dan telah melalui beberapa tahapan pengembangan kurikulum bahasa Arab, yaitu: pengembangan kurikulum tingkat nasional, tingkat lembaga, tingkat kelas, dan tingkat pembelajaran.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berbentuk seminar pendidikan tentang Angka Partisipasi Kasar Pendidikan Tinggi dengan tema Peningkatan Angka Pertisipasi Kasar Pendidikan Tinggi Sejak Dini pada  Siswa  Mts di Desa Karyamulya, Kecamatan Batujaya, Kabupaten Karawang. Tujuan Seminar Angka Partisipasi Kasar ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa MTs mengenai pentingnya mendapatkan pendidikan ke jenjang lebih tinggi bagi para siswa, menumbuhkan rasa ingin melanjutkan pendidikan bagi siswa agar siswa memiliki kemauan dalam menyiapkan diri memasuki pendidikan lebih tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melalui kegiatan seminar pendidikan bertempat di MTs Daarul Ma’arif Karyamulya, Batujaya Karawang yang dihadiri 105 siswa dan 10 orang guru. Karena seminar ini diikuti oleh siswa yang suaianya masih relatif muda, maka pendekatan yang digunakan lebih mendorong minat siswa Materi yang disajikan oleh nara sumber adalah mengenai masih rendahnya angka partisipasi kasar (APK) di pendidikan tinggi dibandingkan dengan negara tetangga. Hasil seminar ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan antusianya anak-anak MTs dalam berdiskusi dan penjawab pre dan post-test.  Dengan adanya program pengabdian ini diharapkan masyarakat khususnya para siswa betul-betul memahami dan minat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi dengan berbagai keterbatasan yang mungkin dihadapi oleh para siswa dan keluarganya serta memiliki motivasi yang kuat, guna meningkatkan peluang untuk memasuki dunia kerja di masa depan.
