Abstract

Abstract: One of attempts to be carried out in order to build good, health and dynamicrelationship is the how someone can adjust himself to his surrounding. Adjusting oneselfinfluences students much in classroom not only for self-acceptance in classroom environmentbut also in learning process. Hence, the material services needs to be develop to be a materialregarding students’ self –adjustment that is expected to applied by guidance and counselingteachers to be taught to their students. The objectives of this research are This study aims at (1)to arrange the material for students’ character building based on the clarity, the systematic, thesupporting pictures, the instruments, the novelty of material, and the supporting of game andvideo, (2) to know the result of the students’ character building quality. The material isarranged by using research and development method, then it is experimented to the studentswith the time allocated is 4 lesson hours (4 x 45’). This material is validated by first and secondguidance lectures, guidance and counseling teacher,and the students of SMA 14 Pekanbaru.The materials consist of the definition of self-adjustment, the factors of self adjustment, thekinds of self adjustment and the tips to have good self-adjustment. The result of the materialdevelopment is the arrangement a self-adjustment module with the material quality is in “VeryGood” category with the score obtained 4,22 for the whole aspects of assessment.Keywords : Guidance And Counseling, Self-Adjustment,Senior High School

Abstract

Abstract: The progress of the world of film is very interesting because it can make someone addicted like watching Korean drama. The pleasure of excessive Korean dramas to the point of addicts can lead to dependence and difficulty breaking away on matters relating to Korea, which can disrupt aspects of life. Therefore, the authors are interested to doing research with title "addicted to watching Korean dramas and imitation behavior on students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru". The purpose of this research is to know the description of addiction to watch Korean drama and to know the description of imitation behavior on students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive method. To analysis the data using the percentage formula. This research uses purposive sampling technique with criterion of students who watch Korean drama 5-6 and >6 episode in one watch. The subject of this research is 48 students. The results of this study is 1) students who are addicted confused to choosing others activities or watching Korean dramas, excited feeling while watching Korean dramas, subject daily activities are watching Korean dramas, has the feeling of wanting to watching again the Korean drama after quitting, and anxiety if not watching Korean drama. 2) Behavior focus on students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru who is addicted to drama drama Korea in general are in low category. For more detail is speaking style in verbal and non-verbal, in a student-style dress that uses accessories, makeup, and fashion styles, and declare self is self-pose photo, attitudes, and Korean drama challenges. For students who are addicted to watching Korean dramas are expected to reduce the habit of watching Korean dramas, in order to use time to learn.Keywords : Addict, imitation behavior, Korean drama, watching.

Abstract

Abstract: This study determines to develop a therapy module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’ Verses 23-24 to improve the character of respect for parents. The type of this study is Research and Development (R&D) which is limited to a few stages by conducting research but not continuing with field testing. In developing a better module, this research carried out a validation test for two areas of expertise, which are material experts and interpreters. The data collection techniques in this study used study of literature and validation questionnaires. The result of this research is that the compiled module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’ Verses 23-24 to improve the character of respect for parents divided into five guidance activities with a total reading duration of ± 45 minutes. The result of the module validation test as a whole based on the material and interpretation aspects shows that the assessment obtained an average value of 85,67% declared "Valid" to be tested as a guidance and counseling service media.Key Words: Module, Therapy of the Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’, Character, and Respecting Parents

Abstract

Abstract:Students in development have a need to communicate and have friends .Students who have difficulty communicating between friends will find it difficult to adjust totheir peers and surroundings. In this case , the school guidance counselor in particular areexpected to be able to take action in terms of increased verbal and nonverbal communicationbetween siswa. one of themthrough group counseling services. This study aims to determine theeffect of group counseling services to the increased ability of Verbal Communication and InterNonvebal class X TKJ SMK TELKOM Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016. Thisresearch was conducted at SMK TELKOM Pekanbaru of the month February 2016 to May2016. The method used is an experimental method with the pattern of pre test-post test controlgroup design. Subjects in this study are the students who have high levels of verbal andnonverbal communication is low and very low. Data collection instrument used was aquestionnaire using Likert scale. Data analysis technique used is the technique of Statistics NonParametric Test namely Wilcoxon test, Mann Whitney test and Spearman rank test. Based onthe results of hypothesis testing turned out to be a significant influence of group counselingservices to the increasing verbal and nonverbal communication skills among students.Effect ofgroup counseling services to the verbal communication skills of students by 48%, whereas theeffect of group counseling services to nonverbal communication skills by 47%.Keywords:Effect Of Guidance Group, Verbal and Nonverbal Communication

Abstract

Abstract: This study Aimed to see if there was an effect of group counseling tothe increase of student empathy. The sample was a class XI student of SMK FARMASIIKASARI PEKANBARU who have low empathy numbered 30 people. In this study therewere five times treatment group roomates guidance begins with a questionnaire pretestand posttest questionnaire terminated. Reviews These results indicate that an increaseof students in empathy after the implementation of the guidance group contributions asmuch as 36.8%.Keywords: Empathy, Guidance Group

Abstract

Abstract : Self-disclosure is part of the communication. Students should have the skills in communication. Difficulty in performing self-disclosure will make the students have difficulty in communicating with others. This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance towards increased self disclosure of the students, especially students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is True Experiment with the Control group pretest and posttest design. Subjects in this study were 20 students with lower levels of self-disclosure. From the results of data analysis using Wilcoxon test with SPSS 16 is obtained α= 0.005.α value less than 0.05 (0.005 <0.05), it can be concluded that there are significant differences levels of self-disclosure with the students before and after being given guidance services group. This means that students self-disclosure can be enhanced through group counseling. Mann Whiteney of test results between the experimental group and the control group with SPSS 16 is obtained α = 0,000. α value less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), From these results concluded that there are significant differences between the experimental group and the control group on the post test results. That is the result of post test experimental group is better than the control group.The effect of group guidance to increase self-disclosure at 44.7%.Key Words : Guidance Group, Self Disclosure.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effects of self management techniques to reduce smoking behavior of class IX students of SMPNegeri 40 Pekanbaru through group guidance. This type of research is a quantitatiative study with an experimental metohod using the design on the one-group pretest – posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study is a smoking behavior measurement scale consisting of 55 items before validation and after validation there are 47 item valid, with validity of 0.5255 and reliability of 0.918. Determination of the subject was obtained from the BK teacher’s recommendations and student case book data. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statiscal techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. Because the value of 0.017 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in the score of smoking behavior before and after treatment given in the from of self management techniques. Based on the calculation that have been made, the 100% pre-test is in the high category. Post-test 100% in the medium category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the technique of self management can reduce the smoking behavior of students of SMPNegeri 40 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Students of SMP, Self Management, The Smoking Beh avior

Abstract

Abstract: Career aspiration is something that must be owned by every individual, especially for students who are at the Middle and High School level. At this time, students begin to think about the career plans they want to choose for their future. However, not all students have a good level of career aspirations, some of them still do not know what type of career they want to choose in the future. Therefore, this study aims to determine the concepts and theories of students' career aspirations, the factors that influence students' career aspirations, as well as efforts to increase students' career aspirations. This research is a literature study of various existing research journals and reference books, with a range of years between 2015 and 2020. Then the data is packaged as data and information material that can provide an overview of students' career aspirations. The recapitulation results show that career aspirations are individual orientations towards career goals that are in accordance with the desired expectations, needs, motives, and desires of a person in a career. While the most widely used theory to explain the factors that influence students in determining careers is the theory of Krumboltz's Social Learning Society, where personality and environment become factors that determine student decision making or career determination. So the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very much needed in an effort to increase students' career aspirations through specialization programs and the implementation of career guidance services in schools.Key Words: Career aspiration, Student, Middle and High Schools, Guidance andCounseling Teacher.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the picture of the use of gadgets andsocial development of students of gadget users. This research method uses descriptivequantitative research type with instrument type in the form of questionnaire and dataprocessing technique using percentage. The results of this study obtained an overviewof the intensity of use of gadgets among students is very active. This can be seen fromthe long duration of gadget usage, whereas the kind of gadgets students use tend touse only one type of gadget. The use of too long gadgets also has an impact thatstudents can experience, whether physical or other impacts. While the impact ofgadgets on the social development of students did not give a significant effect. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the tunjuk ajar melayu teaching point values to improve student social relations at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is a scale that measures students' social relations consisting of 40 items before validation, and after validation 30 items are obtained valid items with validity between 0.358-0.793 and reliability 0.926. The subjects of this study were 9 students who were identified as having low social relations. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study prove the accepted research hypothesis. For that from the Spearman Rank test results obtained r = 0.778 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.61. Thus there is a tunjuk ajar melayu teaching point values on social relations of students by 61% in SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. From the Wilcoxon test results obtained (Asymp.Sig) 0.018 <0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in social relations of students before and after the treatment of tunjuk ajar melayu teaching point values, as evidenced by an increase in each indicator of students' social relations.Key Words: Social Relation, Tunjuk Ajar Melayu, Group Guidance
