Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of individual counseling services on self-assessment of child assisted citizens (non-drug cases) dilapas anak pekanbaru. The research method used is pre experimental method using The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design pattern. This research is done twice before the experiment (pre test) and after the experiment (post test) with one group of the subject. The data analysis used in this research Qualitative analytical descriptive. The subject of this research is selected using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method of 5 non-drug users. This research is conducted by giving individual counseling service 5 times meeting. The analysis used is to find data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials.Keyword: Self Acceptance, Individual Counseling Services, Child Supported Citizens

Abstract

Abstract: ComRes conducted a polling study for Channel 4 News television channel. The survey results show about 47% of parents say that their children spend a lot of time in front of the gadget. While the other 43% confess their children have an emotional bond with gadget devices owned. Excessive used of gadgets can cause social inequalities in their society. If it glued to the sophistication of gadgets, then students will find it difficult in expressing emotions that exist in their difficulty to communicate with their environment. Students are more pleased and concerned with the gadget than their environment. Therefore, researchers feel the need to analyze the gadget addiction and emotional development of these students. The purpose of this researches are: To determine the behavior and to know the emotional development of students are addicted to gadgets. The sample in this research were 34 students. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. To analyze data using percentage technique. The results of this study are: Addiction of gadgets to the students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru generally seen from the level of addiction is in the mild category, which their use gadgets for a long time but controlled. Judgment from the dominant addiction indicator is in the high category, their feeling of displeasure, the appearance of irritability when their use of gadgets is limited, and tend to repeat their behavior of playing gadgets. The student's emotional development is largely in the good category. They are able to develop and control the emotions that exist in him. Suggestions of this research are: direct and supervise students in using gadgets, and pay attention to the child's emotional development in order to achieve optimally.Key Words: Addiction, Gadget, Emotion

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a street children's family educationmodule in terms of the aspects of material clarity, material systematic, image support,compatibility of material delivery time and material completeness. This type of researchis development research to produce a design but is not followed by testing the product.The educational module material was validated by 2 BK FKIP UR lecturers, and 2Counseling Guidance Teachers. Educational material consists of 4 modules namely,module 1: understanding parenting and family functions, module 2: being a responsibleparent, module 3: the role of parents educating children and module 4: the role ofparents in preventing children from going down to the street. From the value given byexperts for the material clarity aspect, a score of 4.5 was obtained with a very clearcategory, for systematic aspects of the material a score of 5 was obtained with a verysystematic category, for the aspect of image support a score of 4.75 was obtained with avery supportive category, for the aspect of compatibility the delivery time of thematerial was obtained a score of 4.25 with a very suitable category and for the aspectsof completeness of the material obtained a score of 4.25 with a very complete category.Whereas for all aspects of the material assessment, it shows that the material developedhas fulfilled the expected criteria with the acquisition of a score of 4.5, which iscategorized as very good. As for the suggestions given by the validator are: each quoteis included with the source, clarify each material again, pay attention again to thewriting of the material, and add conclusions.Keywords: Module, Education, Street Children

Abstract

Abstract: Environmental education creates characters of environmental caring which will be have by somebody to repair and to manage the environment and beneficial without damage the real condition, to maintain and to preserve the environment so that there will be continuous benefits. The effort to foster the character of the students’ environmental awareness was in line with the Adiwiyata’s program. The purpose of this study is to know the levels of students’ awareness before and after group counseling, to know the difference in awareness levels and to know the effect of group counseling to students’ environmental awareness with the Adiwiyata’s school. The research was conducted to the first grade of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test. The data collection a technique was used questionnaires. The Percentages, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and Spearman’s rank were used to analyzing the data. The sample was 20 students. The result of this research showed that there were differences in the levels of students’ environmentall awareness before and after and there was a significant improves the group counseling in environment of Adiwiyata School.Keywords: Students’ Awareness, Adiwiyata’s School Environment, Group Counseling

Abstract

Abstract: Students are at the age of 18-21 represents the age of transition from teenager to adult. There’s no such an illegal thing for this age to married. But, it is not an easy thing for student, because they need to be responsible as a student also as a husband/wife at the same time. Indeed, not so many students want to married while still studying. It’s all about a choice. Student has their own perception about marriage. The purpose of this research is to find out Students Guidance and Conseling Perceptions of Marriage Among College Students. The data collection instrument with questionnaire. The sample of this research is 137 BK UR students, period 2014-2017. The sampling method is Simple Random Sampling. The result of this study indicate that most of BK students have a good perception with marriage. Although the perception of students is good enough, but still many students choose to not married, because being married while studying cause impacts and problems. Conclusion, student perception toward marriage among student, that is 1) understanding of student to marriage, is: meaning of marriage is marriage is arranged by both family; the benefits of marriage according to the understanding of the student is married can teach themselves responsible; the cause of student marriage is matchmaking; the impact is to reduce household harmony, caused by emotions that are still unstable; the problem is the students become unfettered. 2) Student assessment of marriage, is: marriage occurs because following a friend who has been married.Key Words: marriage, perception

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop an education module to families of street children and to test the validity of a education modules. The research method used is research and development with simplication of steps by Borg and Gall, namely: potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation, design revision, and product making. The instrument used was the assesment scale sheet, which was validated by 4 material experts, two guidance and counseling lecturers and two guidance and counseling teachers. The results showed that the education module to families of street children developed is a valid category to be used as educational materials to families of street children.Keywords: Research and development, Education module, Families of Street Children

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of spiritual intelligence of students before and after the given group counseling and guidance to know how much influence the group to increase spiritual intelligence of students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. Question in this study is: How much influence the group guidance to increase students' spiritual intelligence? Method in this study is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest design. Population of this study amounted to 76 students. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. Samples were taken from 25% of the population, so that elected 30 students who have low spiritual intelligence in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Results of this research study shows that there are significant positive effect of group counseling to increasing the spiritual intelligence class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru by 25%. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of reframing techniques to improve students' perceptions of BK teachers at Pekanbaru Vocational High School. This type of research is quantitative research with the experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of measuring student perceptions of BK teachers which consists of 45 items before validation, and after validation obtained 26 valid items with a validity of 0.460 and reliability of 0.885. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having a poor level of BK teacher perception. The data analysis technique used is non parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, the results of the Rank Spearman test obtained r = 0.807 while the correlation coefficient r2 was 0.651. Thus there is the effect of reframing technique on students' perceptions of BK teachers by 65.1% in Pekanbaru Vocational High School. From the results of the Wilcoxon test obtained (Asymp. Sig) 0.018 <0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in student perceptions scores about counseling teachers before and after being given treatment in the form of reframing techniques.Key Words: Reframing, Student Perceptions, BK Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: The fact that at the present time is still a lot of juvenile delinquency among students therefore guidance and counseling teachers (BK) plays a very important role in dealing with the problem of juvenile delinquency in learners. Therefore, researchers feel the need to analyze about juvenile delinquency and the role of BK teachers in overcoming them. This study aims to determine the description of the types of juvenile delinquency and the role of BK teachers in overcoming juvenile delinquency. The subjects were 3 BK teachers.The method used is a quantitative approach. The research data was obtained through questionnaire. Analyze data using percentage techniques. The results showed that the description of the types of juvenile delinquency was in the low category. Juvenile delinquents include fights, coercion, bodily harm, destruction, theft, lack of self-esteem and honor, drug abuse, alcohol consumption, pornography, school treking, late daatang to school, no complete attributes to school, smoking in in school environments, cheating in the classroom and lying to teachers and friends.Misbehavior is in the low category because of the role of BK teacher in overcoming juvenile delinquency in good category. BK Teachers cope with juvenile delinquency by taking preventive actions such as conducting religious activities, extracurricular activities, providing motivation, orientation services, information services, group guidance, data collection services, media services. Curative action is to train discipline, orderly, and orderly, doing healthy recreation with high discipline, activating youth organization, counseling, follow-up and hand over case. Repressive measures of oral and written warnings, punishment, home visit and involving all components.Keywords: Juvenile delinquency, Role of teacher BK

Abstract

Abstract:Cognitive development indicates the development of students’ way of thinking. Students’ability in coordinating the ways of thinking in order to solve various problemscanbeappliedas The Score Range of growing intelligence. The low of students’ positive thinking indicates students’ behavior that far from the concept of positive thinking as they have not hadpositive self-concept yet. The objective of this research is to find out the impacts ofgroup guidance and counseling services to students’ positive thinking of the experimental group. Themethod of this researchis real-experimental method with the pattern of pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this research is 20 students of grade X MIA 7 MAN 2 ModelPekanbaru which have low positive thinking. The technique of data analyzing in this research use three formulas, namely the formula of Wilcoxon Experiment, Spearman Rank Experimentand Man Whitney Experiment. Based on the hypothesis experiment by applying SPSS 16.0, it is obtained that the value of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.023. Due to the fact that the value of sig. (2-tailed) fewer than the α value (0.023< 0.05),thus it can be concluded that “There is positive impact that significant in giving group counseling services to the improvement of students’ positive thinking”. The impact of group counseling services in improving students’ positive thinking give medium contribution, that is 49,6%.Keywords: group guidance services, positive thinking
