Abstract

Studi ini berfokus pada pentingnya zinc (Zn) sebagai mikronutrien esensial dalam kesehatan balita, terutama pada anak di bawah lima tahun. Zinc berperan dalam perbaikan jaringan dan fungsi tulang, dan kekurangan zinc dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan dan potensi stunting pada balita. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian ini menguji efek dari memberikan makanan tambahan berbasis daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dan ikan air laut kepada balita yang mengalami stunting. Penelitian dilakukan pada 30 balita dengan status gizi stunting dan stunting berat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sedan, Kabupaten Rembang. Selama 63 hari, balita tersebut diberikan makanan tambahan berbasis daun kelor dan ikan laut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah intervensi, kadar zinc dalam darah dan tinggi badan rata-rata balita mengalami peningkatan. Ada juga hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar zinc dan tinggi badan balita, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar zinc berhubungan erat dengan peningkatan tinggi badan. Dalam kesimpulan, pemberian makanan tambahan berbasis daun kelor dan ikan laut memiliki dampak positif terhadap kadar zinc dan tinggi badan balita stunting di Puskesmas Sedan, Kabupaten Rembang. Ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi semacam itu dapat berpengaruh positif pada kesehatan balita dan potensial untuk mengatasi masalah stunting.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by low intake of nutritious food, poor sanitation, and a long history of disease infection. One of the indirect factors causing stunting is water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Pekalongan as the city of batik, it is possible that batik industry waste containing heavy metals can disrupt the growth of children. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of environmental sanitation association incidence of stunting among children in Pekalongan. This research is an analytic study with a case-control study design.  The population in this study were mothers who had toddlers aged 6-59 months with a total sample of 177 respondents. The sampling technique in this study is a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. Univariate bivariate and multivariate analysis with SPSS 20.0. The results of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between Sewage (p=0.000; OR=5,096), light intensity (p=0.000; OR=9,404), vent area (p=0.000; OR=9.941), and the habit of opening windows (p=0.000; OR=27,215) with stunting. The prevalence of stunting in the city of Pekalongan is related to sewage ownership, lighting, ventilation and the habit of opening windows. It is suggested that the Pekalongan government use the Community Based Total Sanitation (CBTS) program to empower the community with regard to environmental sanitation. Abstract

Background: Combination trend​ treatment use herbal and conventional medicines, respectively gradually move going to approach integrative. Use herbal medicine is considered correlated more near with attitudes and beliefs public because can increase immunity body and eliminate worries effect side to drug pharmacy. This is also proven with various type disease that has resolved . Objective: Take inventory use commodity herbal plants and ingredients bioactive as well as study his physiology on the rise immune body. Method: Systematic literature review written based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Abstract

The development of teaching supplements based on research results regarding the dangers of vaping needs to be conducted considering that there is no integration regarding the dangers of vaping in biology subjects. Students need to improve information about the dangers of vaping through scientific literacy. The data collection techniques in this study consisted of a questionnaire. Through the data collection, the instruments needed in this study include validation sheets of material experts and media experts. The data were analyzed quantitatively to determine the category of validity and deepened by qualitative analysis. Based on the results of expert validation, research-based teaching supplements regarding the dangers of vaping were generally very valid with the average validation score of the two validators being 94.45%. The material contained in the teaching supplement was also adapted to current scientific developments related to the dangers of vaping by following scientific literacy indicators. The effectiveness of teaching supplements was determined based on the N-Gain value, the N-Gain value obtained was 0.76 which is in the High category

Abstract

Tenaga kesehatan memiliki risiko yang tinggi untuk mengalami infeksi Covid-19. Sebanyak 930 tenaga kesehatan di Kabupaten Banyumas terpapar Covid-19. Hal ini menyebabkan 23 puskesmas melakukan penutupan dan pengalihan pelayanan. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan beban kerja, kelelahan, penilaian berkala risiko kerja, dan kepatuhan penerapan protokol kesehatan 5M dengan Infeksi Covid-19 pada tenaga kesehatan di Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case control. Jumlah sampel kasus dan sampel kontrol masing-masing adalah 47 responden dengan kriteria tidak memiliki komorbid dan termasuk tenaga kesehatan yang menangani pasien Covid-19. Data dikatagorikan menggunakan nilai tendensi sentral dan dianalisis dengan uji chi square dilanjutkan regresi logistik menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisis akhir menunjukan kelelahan, penilaian berkala risiko kerja, dan kepatuhan penerapan protokol kesehatan 5M menjadi faktor dominan infeksi Covid-19 pada tenaga kesehatan dengan p-value <0.005 dan AOR (CI95%) masing-masing adalah 14.362 (3.458–59.655), 5.192 (1.342–20.089), 10.313 (2.627–40.491). Diperlukan monitoring dan evaluasi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja pada kondisi pandemi pada tenaga kesehatan untuk meminimalisasi penularan internal infeksi Covid-19 antar petugas kesehatan dan pasien di puskesmas.

Abstract

The use of technology is currently relevant to the implementation of the ‘Merdeka Belajar’ Curriculum, but has an impact on students' critical thinking skills and learning media needs. This means that educators need to provide innovation in learning that is linked to technology. This study purpose to analyze the validity and readability of Google Sites learning media with a STEM approach to mutation material. This study used research and development (R&D) methods but was limited to the implementation stage, namely small-scale testing. A small-scale trial was carried out on 20 students of class XII MIPA 2 at Gemuh 1 Senior High School. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and media readability questionnaires. Product validity criteria are seen from the validator's assessment. Criteria for media readability are seen from the results of student questionnaires. The study results show that the validity of the media was declared very valid based on the assessment of media experts at 96% and material experts at 93.56%. The media readability value was declared very good based on student assessments of 88.64%, so it has the potential to improve high school students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) and digital literacy are skills students must possess to adapt and survive amidst the current technological advancements. One way to enhance students’ CT and digital literacy skills is through innovative learning models that align with the material being taught. Biotechnology is one of the subjects that students need to master in Phase E of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the CPS-STEM learning model on students’ CT and digital literacy skills in biotechnology material. This research was conducted from April to May in the 2023/2024 academic year at three high schools in the Kayen, with a total population of 891 students. The sample used in this study was calculated using the Slovin formula, its 8 classes consisting of 2 control groups (72 students) and 2 experimental groups (217 students). This study is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test group design. The STEM approach is integrated with CPS syntax outlined in the teaching module and assisted with student worksheets. CT skills were measured using post-test instruments, while digital literacy skills were measured using questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the CPS-STEM learning model on CT skills, calculated using the N Gain test, while digital literacy skills were measured using a Likert scale. The results showed that the CPS-STEM was effective to improve CT skills in the medium category (0.40), whereas the direct instructional learning model was not effective in enhancing CT skills. This study also showed that the CPS-STEM learning model was effective in enhancing digital literacy skills with a percentage increase of 15.25%

Abstract

The Learning based on the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum allows students to be more independent in choosing their learning resources. Modern biotechnology practicum is often not carried out due to expensive tools and materials, and is usually incomplete. Teachers tend to only focus on the application of conventional biotechnology, and do not explore modern biotechnology. In addition, the science literacy skills of students in schools are still low, and there is no virtual laboratory learning media that can be used by students to improve understanding of modern biotechnology concepts for understanding biological technology innovation in CP phase F. This study aims to test the validity and openness test of STEM-based Lab Gene virtual laboratory learning media on modern biotechnology material. Data analysis was conducted to measure the validity and readability of the learning media. The results showed that the validity value of Lab Gene was declared valid with a value of 90.10% or including a very high category (very valid) by material experts and 83.75% or including a very high category (very valid) by media experts. Meanwhile, the results of media readability (rumpang analysis) by 9 students at SMAN 1 Sumber obtained 89.03% with a very good category. Based on the research results, it is known that the STEM-based Lab Gene virtual laboratory is said to be valid and has good readability. Lab Gene virtual laboratory learning media is feasible to be implemented in schools to improve students’ science literacy.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of ethanol extract of Elaeocarpus grandiflorus leaves extract as anti-obesity by in vivo and silico computational models.  The pre-and -post-tests were carried out on 20 female Wistar rats, divided into 4 groups. The control group (K) received no treatment and the experimental groups were treated with E. grandiflorus extract of 200 mg/kg BW (P1), 400 mg/kg BW (P2), and 800 mg/kg BW (P3) for 14 days. The body weight, abdominal circumference, and abdominal fat mass were measured on Day 1 and Day 15. The results showed differences in body weight (p=0.02), abdominal circumference (p=0.01), and abdominal fat mass (p=0.00). In silico exploration, bioactive compounds of rutin, orientin, luteolin, vitexin, iso orientin, isovitexin, kaempferol, and quercetin were identified, and targeted ELAVL1, IGF1R, CREB1, AKT1, and PIK3R1 of the AMPK signaling pathway that involved in the anti-obesity mechanism. The high binding affinity values was rutin-EVAL1 (-9.3), orientin-ELAVL1 (-8.3), and quercetin- IGFR1 (-8.2). It can be concluded that the ethanol extract of E. grandiflorus leaves has the potential to be developed as an anti-obesity agent.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of knowledge, pocket money, and the role of the media on the occurrence of KEK. This research method is an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional design (cross-sectional). The result of the analysis is that knowledge affects KEK with a T count of 4.134 and a significance value of 0.000. The role of the media does not affect the incidence of KEK, with a calculated T value of 0.166 and a significance of 0.868. In conclusion, pocket money affects KEK with a T count of 2.431 and a significance value of 0.016. With good knowledge and supported by students' financial conditions, students can determine a good diet and make their upper arm circumference exceed 23.5.
