Abstract

Kedisiplinan waktu mengajar guru dan penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar negeri 14 Bantan masih bermasalah. Guru masih tidak disiplin saat memulai dan mengakhiri pembelajaran di kelas. Sebagian besar guru juga tidak pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran saat mengajar di kelas. Kepala sekolah perlu melakukan analisis untuk mengetahui permasalahan tersebut dan agar bisa memberikan supervisi yang tepat. Tujuan penelitin ini adalah menganalisis kedisiplinan waktu mengajar guru dan penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian kombinasi (kuantitatif dan kualitatif) digunakan pada penelitian. Sumber data berjumlah sembilan orang guru (empat guru laki-laki dan lima orang guru perempuan). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan instrument penilaian kedisiplinan dan penggunaan media pada pembelajaran. Kedisiplinan waktu mengajar guru berada pada kategori sedang, sementara kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran di kelas masuk pada kategori tinggi. Kepala sekolah harus secara rutin melakukan supervisi klinis terhadap kedua aspek tersebut. Hal ini sangat penting untuk dilakukan karena kedua aspek tersebut masuk pada kompetensi pedagogik guru. Aspek kompetensi pedagogik lainnya selain kedisplinan waktu mengajar guru dan kemampuan menggunakan media pembelajaran bisa dianalisis lebih lanjut oleh peneliti berikutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis peserta didik kelas VIII dengan model Problem Based Learning pada materi SPLDV di SMPN 59 Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dalam belajar matematika. Pada penelitian ini jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes tertulis. Secara umum hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 59 Palembang masih didominasi oleh peserta didik yang berkategori sedang, hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil tes yang diikuti oleh 12 orang peserta didik yang menjadi subjek penelitian terdapat 2 orang peserta didik yang berkategori tinggi, 9 orang peserta didik berkategori sedang, dan 1 orang peserta didik berkategori rendah. Peserta didik yang berkategori tinggi sudah hampir memunculkan semua indikator, peserta didik yang berkategori sedang hanya sebagian indikator saja yang muncul, sedangkan peserta didik yang berkategori rendah belum bisa memunculkan indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis. This study aims to analyze the written mathematical communication ability of grade eight students using the Problem-Based Learning model on SPLDV material at SMPN 59 Palembang. The subjects of this research were grade eight students who had high, medium, and low abilities in learning mathematics. In this study, the type of research used was descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out in written tests. In general, the results obtained from this research were that the written mathematical communication skills of grade eight students at SMP Negeri 59 Palembang were still dominated by students who were in the medium category. students in the high category, 9 students in the medium category, and 1 student in the low category. Students in the high category have brought up almost all the indicators, students in the medium category only some of the indicators appear, while students in the low category have not been able to come up with indicators of written mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

Learning represents a fundamental aspect of the educational process. The efficacy of the learning process is a key determinant of the extent to which educational objectives are achieved. Similarly, the quality of mathematical learning is a significant predictor of success in mathematics. The objective of this thesis is to examine the potential of managerial strategies to enhance the quality of mathematics learning. This research employs a qualitative methodology, specifically a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The data sources, or resource persons, were selected using the snowball technique. The data were validated through the triangulation technique. The results demonstrated that: (1) The management of improvements to the quality of mathematics learning is conducted in three stages: planning, implementation, and assessment. (2) Teachers employ various strategies to enhance mathematics learning outcomes, including the provision of structured assignments. (3) The effective management of learning outcomes is contingent upon three key supporting factors: parental involvement, access to learning resources, and the principal's leadership model. (4) Persistent challenges, such as the pervasive belief that mathematics is inherently challenging and student motivation, must also be addressed.

Abstract

Inter-ethnic harmony is an important factor in maintaining cultural diversity in Indonesia. The realization of harmonious communication patterns can be seen in good interaction and tolerance towards differences in different cultural backgrounds. This research aims to understand the patterns of intercultural communication that occur among Riau Malay and Sundanese ethnic Islamic boarding school students in the context of the Islamic boarding school environment. The methodology used is qualitative to gain an in-depth understanding of the interactions and communication dynamics between these two ethnic groups. involving 20 respondents, including Riau Malay and Sundanese ethnic students from several Islamic boarding schools. Data was taken using in-depth discussions, participant observation, and analysis of related documents. Then the results were processed using thematic analysis to identify existing intercultural communication patterns. The results of this research revealed the existence of supporting factors for intercultural communication in creating harmonious relations between Riau Malay and Sundanese ethnicities at the Tahfidzul-Quran Manba'ul Furqon Islamic Boarding School. The conclusion shows that the pattern of intercultural communication between Riau Malay and Sundanese ethnic Santri is based on tolerance, appreciation of differences, and mutual respect.

Abstract

He talked about parents' responsibilities in early childhood education. It is known from the literature that the home environment plays an important role in the upbringing of children. Father and mother in the family become the first educators in the developmental process of the child's life. Parents build relationships and not only create different families for reproductive purposes, but also continue the lineage and build affection. The main task of the family is to create the building and atmosphere of the family upbringing process, so that the next generation of intellectual and noble generations stands as a solid foundation for the life and journey of human children. can do. This fact is supported by theoretical insights showing the importance of home education as a child's first basic education.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to see how learning attitudes and motivation affected student learning success at MAN 1 Batanghari. This is a quantitative study using a survey approach. This study's population included students from classes X and XI, with a sample size of 52 students. All respondents completed three types of instruments based on learning attitudes, motivation, and success in the learning process. The findings indicate that 1) learning attitudes have a significant impact on learning success. The better the learning attitude of students, the more successful the student learning process at MAN 1 Batang Hari will be; 2) Motivation has a significant impact on student learning success. The better the students' motivation, the better their success in the student learning process at MAN 1 Batang Hari; and 3) learning attitudes and motivation both have a significant effect on student learning process success. Whereas the better the learning attitude and motivation, the better the student learning process success.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see if religious discipline has a substantial impact on the emotional intelligence of Grade VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Aufa Sungai Buluh. The research method employed in this study is quantitative, with a sample size of 49 persons. Different sampling procedures are used to determine the sample to be utilized in research; in this study, researchers used a probability sampling strategy, namely the cluster sampling technique (area sampling). Based on the study's findings that worship discipline has a substantial effect on student’s emotional intelligence, students who practice worship discipline have high emotional intelligence. According to the findings of inferential statistical analysis employing path analysis, the total influence of worship discipline on emotional intelligence was 99.5%.

Abstract

Prophet Muhammad was given the task of forming akhlakul karimah by Muslims. The next generation will be strong and resilient if they have noble character. Character-building programs are the most critical need in Indonesia ahead of Indonesia Emas 2045. The basis of character education in the Islamic perspective is the holy book of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. The Qur'an is the basis of all areas of life, including moral matters. The character-building program at Widya Kusuma Saladara Islamic Kindergarten includes three successes, six noble phobias, four ropes of faith, three principles of cooperation, four maqodirulloh, four spinning wheels, and five conditions of harmony and compactness. This program is instilled from an early age, from kindergarten to early childhood education, so that akhlakul karimah will be formed in adolescence and adulthood and ready to become future leaders.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the school health unit (UKS) as the main facility of health development in the Elementary School 79  Bengkulu. This research is conducted by using a qualitative approach and case study design. The sources of research data got from the principal, homeroom teacher, physical education teacher, and UKS custodian. This study uses observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The stages of data analysis used Data Reduction Analysis Techniques, Data Presentation, and Conclusions. The results showed that UKS functions as the main facility for healthy development for students at elementary school, UKS conducted counseling on the importance of personal hygiene to students, UKS introduced a healthy environment and various diseases, and managed and implemented UKS facilities.

Abstract

Masih adanya metode belajar membaca dengan mengeja, metode pembelajaran yang belum efektif dan kurangnya media belajar membaca yang menarik bagi siswa-siswi TK perlu diintegrasikan dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi Android yang dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada pengajar TK dalam mengajarkan pengenalan huruf kepada murid. Proses pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metodologi ADDIE, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi, observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pihak yang terkait, serta studi literatur yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi Android yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran cepat pengenalan huruf abjad kepada siswa TK. Aplikasi ini berfokus pada integrasi metode fonik dan metode ADDIE dalam desainnya. Proyek ini juga mencakup observasi perbedaan dalam proses pembelajaran membaca ketika menggunakan aplikasi ini dibandingkan dengan metode belajar manual menggunakan buku sehingga siswa TK dapat belajar membaca dengan cepat. Keunggulan dari pendekatan ini terletak pada kesederhanaan model pengembangannya yang terdiri dari lima tahap utama: Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi.
