Abstract

Metode active learning itu sangat diperlukan oleh peserta didik untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Untuk itu diperlukan perangkat tertentu untuk dapat mengikat informasi yang baru. Metode active learning adalah salah satu cara untuk mengikat informasi yang diterima dari guru, kemudian menyimpannya dalam otak. Hal itu dilakukan karena salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan informasi cepat dilupakan adalah faktor kelemahan otak. Belajar yang hanya mengandalkan indera pendengaran mempunyai banyak kelemahan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Reseach). Berupa penelitian kuantitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, teknik pengambilan sampel pada umumnya dilakukan secara random, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/ statistik dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan yakni: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran menekankan metode active learning “team quiz” yang termuat dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) maupun dalam silabus (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menerapkan metode active learning “team quiz” dalam perencanaan (3) Evaluasi hasil dalam menerapkan model evaluasi dalam ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

This study discusses theories and models of educational policy analysis with a focus on their relevance in the context of national education and Islamic education in Indonesia. The review covers various educational management theories, such as systems theory, contingency theory, and change theory, to understand the dynamics and complexity of educational institution management. In addition, this research explores models of educational policy analysis, including the rational model, systems model, and CIPP model, and adopts a critical approach to identify assumptions, interests, and the impact of policies on diverse community groups. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, analyzing primary and secondary data from various reliable sources. The results show that management theory is essential in formulating, implementing, and evaluating educational policies to create a generation that is faithful, pious, and prepared to face contemporary challenges. Case studies of educational policy in Indonesia highlight the need for a multidimensional and participatory approach to realize an educational system that is fair, inclusive, and of high quality.

Abstract

Problematics of education always arise and almost try to solve them. However, the various efforts undertaken to develop education are not always going smoothly and seamlessly as there are various obstacles that hinder and hinder the process of such efforts. Therefore, this paper will discuss regarding the basic concepts of policy analysis and educational prolematics. The results of this study show that educational policies are the result of decisions made paying attention to the relationship of education with other social components. Therefore, similar to policy analysis in other areas, this contextual and interdisciplinary character is characteristic of education policy analysis. Policy analysis is an attempt to create and manage (relevant) information by utilizing applied social science. Additionally, in Indonesia there are social and economic challenges that contribute to educational development, such as high poverty rates and constraints in leveling access to education for all strata of society, resulting in inequality in learning opportunities. Regarding this, there are still many inadequate schools so that the educational institutions lag far behind compared to other schools, for example in remote villages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat brand awareness Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UIN Sumut) di kalangan masyarakat dan calon mahasiswa di wilayah Tuntungan serta pengaruhnya terhadap niat memilih universitas tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 150 responden yang terdiri dari masyarakat umum dan calon mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara brand awareness dan niat memilih UIN Sumut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand awareness UIN Sumut tergolong sedang dengan pengenalan merek yang meningkat melalui media sosial dan word of mouth. Selain itu, brand awareness memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat memilih universitas tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi pemasaran terpadu, terutama digital marketing dan pengelolaan citra yang baik, dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan reputasi institusi. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi agar UIN Sumut memperkuat kampanye branding melalui media sosial dan memperluas engagement dengan masyarakat Tuntungan guna meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar di masa depan

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis peseerta didik kelas VIII pada materi relasi dan fungsi dengan model problem based learning. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih merupakan peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 47 Palembang yang berjumlah 6 orang menurut kriteria tertentu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes dan wawancara pada materi relasi dan fungsi yang mengarah pada indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang berjumlah 3 soal essay. Wawancara yang digunakan yaitu semi terstruktur. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap persiapan; 2) tahap pelaksanaan; 3) tahap analisis data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan deskripsi dan analisis hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diantaranya dari 24 peserta didik yang diteliti, jumlah peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis kategori tinggi ada 6, kategori sedang ada 10, dan kategori rendah ada 8 peserta didik. Untuk rata-rata nilai tes peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 76,25%. Hasil penelitian ini akan menunjukkan bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis peserta didik kelas VIII pada materi relasi dan fungsi dengan model problem based learning.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of leadership in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) amid growing environmental and social challenges that demand the integration of sustainability principles into the curriculum. Employing a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and case studies at a number of institutions that have successfully implemented sustainable education practices, this study shows that effective leadership is characterized by the ability to inspire, educate, and empower the educational community. Successful leaders are able to build a shared vision and facilitate collaboration across stakeholders—students, teachers, and the community. The findings also emphasize the importance of leadership training that focuses on communication, problem-solving, and innovation skills to achieve ESD goals. Therefore, the effectiveness of leadership in ESD depends not only on formal policies but also on interpersonal skills and consistent commitment to the vision of sustainability. These findings provide practical insights for policymakers and education practitioners in designing more impactful leadership programs.

Abstract

Ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) termasuk dalam kelompok ikan pelagis besar, merupakan salah satu jenis komoditas ekspor perikanan laut yang bernilai ekonomi penting. Untuk itu, diperlukan proses penanganan dan pengolahan yang baik. Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk mengamati karakteristik mutu, rendemen dan produktivitas pada  pengolahan cakalang loin masak beku. Metode kerja dilakukan dengan mengikuti langsung tahapan pengolahan mulai dari penerimaan cakalang beku masuk sampai distribusi produk cakalang loin masak beku. Pengujian mutu dilakukan terhadap mutu organoleptik, mikrobiologi, rendemen dan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah alur proses pengolahan cakalang loin masak beku dengan empat belas tahapan proses dari penerimaan bahan baku hingga pemuatan produk untuk dijual. Nilai mutu organoleptik cakalang beku 8,11, setelah pelehan  8,24 dan cakalang loin masak beku 8,56.  Kadar histamin cakalang beku 1,1 ppm - 3,8 ppm dan cakalang loin  masak beku 2,36 ppm - 4,47 ppm. Hasil pengujian mikrobiologi cakalang beku dan cakalang loin masak beku menunjukan seluruh pengujian ALT, E.coli, Coliform, S. aureus, V. parahaemolyticus, dan Salmonella masih memenuhi standar sesuai dengan ketentuan SNI 7968:2014. Rendemen yang dihasilkan mulai dari bahan baku hingga menjadi produk loin masak  yaitu rata-rata 38,3%. Produktivitas karyawan pada tahap butchering rata-rata 324,47 kg/jam/orang kg/jam/orang, deheading dan skinnig 43,55 kg/jam/orang serta  untuk tahap loinning dan cleaning 7,06 kg/jam/orang.Kipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) is included in the large pelagic fish group, is one type of marine fishery export commodity that has important economic value. For export, good handling and processing is required. This observation aims to observe the characteristics of quality, yield and productivity in the processing of frozen cooked skipjack loin. The working method is carried out with direct participation, following the processing stages starting from the receipt of incoming frozen skipjack to the distribution of frozen cooked skipjack loin products. Quality testing is carried out on organoleptic quality, microbiology, yield and labor productivity. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of this study are the flow of frozen cooked skipjack loin processing with fourteen stages of the process from receiving raw materials to loading products for marketing. The organoleptic quality of frozen skipjack tuna was 8.11, after thawing 8.24 and frozen cooked skipjack tuna 8.56. Histamine levels in frozen skipjack tuna were 1.1 ppm - 3.8 ppm and frozen cooked skipjack loin 2.36 ppm - 4.47 ppm. The results of microbiological testing on frozen skipjack and frozen skipjack loin showed that all TPC, E.coli, Coliform, S. aureus, V. parahaemolyticus, and Salmonella tests still met the standards in accordance with the provisions of SNI 7968:2014. The yield produced from raw materials to cooked loin products is an average of 38.3%. The average productivity of employees at the butchering stage is 324.47 kg/hour/person kg/hour/person, deheading and skinning is 43.55 kg/hour/person and for loinning and cleaning stages 7.06 kg/hour/person.

Abstract

In science learning there are many important concepts that must be understood. The solar system is a complex and abstract material because it cannot be seen directly by human senses resulting in students experiencing misconceptions.  Interactive learning media is needed to help students understand concepts. One of the learning media that can be applied is augmented reality based on dry lab simulation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Dry Lab simulation to overcome misconceptions of earth and solar system material in junior high school. This research uses experimental research methods with Pre-experimental research models. The overall research results, the average effectiveness was 45.16%, which showed less effective results. Partially for the two sub-concepts of planets and solar and lunar eclipses, the average effectiveness is 65.5%, which shows that the dry lab simulation is effective in changing students' misconceptions

Abstract

Using quantitative descriptive methods in the form of critical thinking skills tests and concept mastery, this study intends to ascertain the profile of critical thinking skills and concept mastery of junior high school students on energy and its changes. The average score of students on the test was 36.60 out of 100. Students averaged 29.86 on the indication of providing a basic explanation, 29.79 on the indicator of drawing a conclusion, and 28.35 on the indicator of providing a more thorough explanation. Critical thinking abilities are among the things that all three lack. The concept mastery test scores for the cognitive domains of analyzing (C4) and evaluating (C5) were, on average, 35.72 and 34.62, respectively, placing the students in the intermediate range. The findings indicated that due to students' low literacy regarding energy and its changes, their inexperience with working on higher-level thinking questions, and their use of less varied learning methods, their critical thinking skills were in the poor category and their concept mastery was in the moderate category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of madrasa heads in realizing independent learning in inclusive schools in madrasah. This study uses a case study-type qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out circularly, from data reduction to data presentation and conclusion. The main findings of this research include changes in teaching and learning methods that are more inclusive, the use of digital resources to expand access to education, and the development of collaborative learning that supports learner-centred learning. The results of this research show that madrasah that adopt digital information technology can increase the accessibility of Islamic education for various levels of society by providing technological infrastructure, increasing human resource capacity, implementing digital learning and continuous evaluation. This research provides implications regarding the importance of inclusive approaches and digital information technology in realizing the "Merdeka Belajar/Freedom of Learning" vision in madrasah and the Islamic education sector more broadly.
