Abstract

The Adiwiyata program at Junior High School 1 Adiluwih has been running with adequate support and has succeeded in forming an evenly distributed environmental awareness among students. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the implementation of the Adiwiyata program on students' environmental awareness at Junior High School 1 Adiluwih, Pringsewu Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design on a sample of 194 students in grades VIII and IX. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program and the level of students' environmental awareness were in the "fairly good" category with a homogeneous data distribution. Statistical analysis confirmed a positive and significant effect of the Adiwiyata program on students' environmental awareness (p < 0.001) with a regression equation of Y = 9.756 + 0.694X. The coefficient of determination of 0.600 indicates that the Adiwiyata program provides a dominant contribution of 60% in forming students' environmental awareness. These findings provide empirical evidence that the quality of the Adiwiyata program implementation is a key factor in increasing ecological awareness and strengthening sustainable school culture practices.

Abstract

In the context of educational institutions, the implementation of these management functions serves as the primary foundation for managing various aspects of education, including student management. Student management is an integral part of educational management, specifically focusing on managing students as the primary subjects in the educational process. This study aims to analyze student management based on the planning–actuating–controlling cycle in improving students’ academic and non-academic achievements at MAN 1 Pesisir Barat. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach involving the principal, vice principal of student affairs, teachers, homeroom teachers, and extracurricular supervisors. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using an interactive model. The results show that planning has been systematically arranged through formal documents but is not fully based on students’ achievement data. Program implementation has been carried out fairly well through academic and non-academic activities, although challenges remain such as limited facilities and uneven student participation. Evaluation has been conducted regularly but has not been optimally used as a basis for decision-making. Therefore, student management has been implemented adequately but is not yet fully integrated into a data-driven management cycle.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged educational institutions to utilize online-based systems in the student admission process. The implementation of online recruitment is expected to improve the effectiveness of student admissions through easier access, wider dissemination of information, and more efficient administrative management. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online recruitment in attracting qualified student candidates at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving the admission committee, new students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The results indicate that online recruitment increases the number of applicants, accelerates administrative processes, and improves cost efficiency through the use of digital media. However, the quality of applicants is still determined through a selection process based on the academic and religious standards established by the madrasah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dalam mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) di tingkat madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi manajemen mutu pendidikan berbasis siklus Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) dalam mewujudkan SDG 4 di MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan siklus PDCA dalam kerangka Total Quality Management membentuk sistem peningkatan mutu yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Tahap perencanaan dilakukan melalui analisis data dan penyusunan program secara partisipatif; tahap pelaksanaan menekankan pembelajaran berbasis standar nasional, pengembangan kompetensi guru, dan supervisi akademik; tahap evaluasi dilaksanakan melalui sistem penjaminan mutu internal, akreditasi, serta monitoring kinerja akademik dan sarana prasarana; sedangkan tahap tindak lanjut diarahkan pada perbaikan berkelanjutan dan penguatan kepemimpinan transformasional. Disimpulkan bahwa strategi manajemen mutu berbasis PDCA efektif mendukung pencapaian SDG 4 apabila diterapkan secara konsisten dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada penguatan model manajemen mutu pendidikan berbasis continuous improvement di madrasah.

Abstract

This research is intended to assess how the use of an information system influences QR Code–based attendance on student discipline at SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The study employed applies a quantitative framework with a causal associative design, and the population of the research comprises consisted of 1,074 students, with a sample of 292 respondents determined using the Slovin formula at a 5% margin of error and using a robability sampling approach, respondnets were chosen through simple random sampling. Data collection employed  a likert scale questionnaire with scores from 1 to 4, and analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS technique supported by SmartPLS version 4. It can be inferred from the findings that  QR Code–based attendance has a positive and significant effect on student discipline, with an R-square value of 0.441. The hypothesis testing results show a t-statistic value of 18.459 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings demonstrate that an integrated and real-time attendance system can improve punctuality, reduce fraudulent practices, and foster students’ responsibility toward their academic obligations. This study highlights that the utilization of information technology in attendance management represents an effective strategy for enhancing student discipline

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh etos kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru di SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif serta metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis skala Likert. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 61 guru, dengan teknik sampling total sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 45 item pernyataan yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitasAnalisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat (normalitas dan linearitas), serta analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etos kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Selain itu, etos kerja memberikan kontribusi sebesar 58,5% terhadap variansi kompetensi profesional guru, sedangkan 41,5% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian.Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa etos kerja merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah.
