Abstract

Abstrak. Computational Thinking (CT) adalah kemampuan yang dibutuhkan bagi manusia untuk menghadapi perkembangan teknologi. Dibidang pendidikan, CT sering digunakan dalam proses penyelesaian masalah yang ada dalam soal. Dalam bidang pendidikan matematika kemampuan CT dapat diterapkan melalui penyelesaian soal yang kompleks menjadi bentuk yang lebih sederhana. Melihat akan pentinnya CT dalam suatu kehidupan maka saat ini para peneliti dalam bidang pendidikan yang mengembangkan model atau alat yang bisa digunakan untuk mengasah dan mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut. Pada suatu pembelajaran di kelas tidak semua unsur CT dapat dilihat dalam proses berfikir siswa. oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini menggunakan media interaktif Scratch untuk melihat kemampuan CT melalui penyelesaian soal matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeskplor kemampuan CT yang dimiliki oleh siswa dilihat dari ketercapaian unsur CT yang dipenuhi selama proses penyelesaian soal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dimana data yang dihasilkan akan diuraikan menjadi kata-kata. Data penelitian ini didapatkan dari dokumentasi hasil penyelesaian soal, wawancara, dan lembar observas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan CT yang dimiliki siswa dalam proses penyelesaian soal matematika menggunakan media interaktif Scratch beragam dengan sebagian besar populasi partisipan memenuhi semua unsur kemampuan CT.Abstract. Computational Thinking (CT) is the ability needed by humans to deal with technological developments. In the field of education, CT is often used in the process of solving problems in the problem. In the field of mathematics education, CT abilities can be applied through solving complex problems into simpler forms. Seeing the importance of CT in a life, currently researchers in the field of education are developing models or tools that can be used to hone and develop these abilities. In a classroom learning not all elements of CT can be seen in students' thinking processes. Therefore, in this study, Scratch interactive media was used to see CT's ability to solve math problems on the data side space structure. The purpose of this study was to explore the CT abilities possessed by students seen from the achievement of not fulfilling CT satisfactorily during the problem solving process. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research where the resulting data will be broken down into words. The research data was obtained from the documentation of the results of the problem solving, interviews, and observation sheets. The results showed that the CT abilities possessed by students in the process of solving mathematics using Early interactive media varied with most of the population meeting all CT abilities.

Abstract

Mathematics in SMK is a general subject that must be understood, in fact many students avoid mathematics, one of the reasons is because the teaching materials have not facilitated the characteristics of students. The purpose of  this study is to evaluate the validity, application, and effectiveness of digital entrepreneurship-based mathematics modules in improving students' problem-solving abilities. With students from class XI vocational courses, this research applies the ADDIE paradigm. Data were obtained using Entremath validation questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, and  post-test scores. The results show that mathematics is entrepreneur-based. Entremath is considered to fall under the very valid criteria. It is declared practical, with 86.9% of students and 96% of teachers belonging to the very practical category, and effectively denoted by a sig value greater than table t. The results of entrepreneurial mathematics research contain qualities that can be used for mathematics educationMatematika di SMK merupakan mata pelajaran umum yang harus dipahami, nyatanya banyak siswa yang menghindari matematika, salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena bahan ajar yang belum memfasilitasi karakteristik siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi validitas, penerapan, dan efektivitas modul digital matematika berbasis kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Dengan peserta didik kelas XI program studi SMK, penelitian ini menerapkan paradigma ADDIE. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket validasi Entremath, angket respon siswa dan guru, serta nilai post-test. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa modul digital matematika berbasis wirausaha dianggap masuk dalam kriteria yang sangat valid. Dinyatakan praktis, dengan respon positif  86,9% dari siswa dan 96% dari guru termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis, dan efektif ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig lebih besar dari t tabel. Hasil penelitian matematika kewirausahaan mengandung kualitas yang dapat digunakan untuk pendidikan matematika.

Abstract

The use of learning media is now essential for the success of learning. Developments in learning media continue to be carried out today to produce interactive media that requires students to interact with teachers, friends, and learning media. This is common in mathematics learning. This research aims to find data regarding the learning media that are most frequently used in the world, the countries that use interactive learning media the most in mathematics learning, and the mathematics materials that are most widely used in using interactive learning media. The method used is a systematic review using the PRISMA method. From the initial results, there were 381,837 articles, which were then filtered according to predetermined criteria, and the final results were 8 articles for further research. The results of this research found that Interactive Media is widely used in mathematics lessons throughout the world such as Digital Books, Geogebra, Geometer's Sketchpad, ChatGPT, and Instructional Video. Of the various interactive media, digital books are the ones most used in learning because digital books can stimulate the skills needed for learning in the 21st century. The results of this research also found that Ethiopia and Germany are the most users of interactive media. Geometry material is material that is considered difficult so it is most widely used in interactive media in various countries.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPentingnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual siswa tidak sesuai dengan fakta yang ada. Realita di lapangan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual bervariasi dan banyak yang masih rendah. Hal tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis siswa yang berkaitan dengan perbedaan dalam menerima dan memproses informasi dalam memecahkan masalah yang disebut gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual siswa SMA ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field independent (FI) dan field dependent (FD). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas X berjumlah 6 yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Proses pemecahan masalah siswa diperoleh dengan instrumen TKPMMK dan wawancara yang telah divalidasi, sedangkan klasifikasi tipe Gaya kognitif FI dan FD siswa ditentukan dengan tes standar GEFT. Persentase jumlah gaya kognitif siswa FD pada kelas penelitian adalah 55,88% sedangkan FI sebesar 44,12%. Selain itu, hasil penelitian FI-K dan FI-S memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual, Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual FI-L dan FD-K tergolong cukup, sedangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual FD-S dan FD-L tergolong kurang. Dengan kata lain siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual baik dan cukup, sedangkan siswa bergaya kognitif field dependent memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kontekstual cukup dan kurang.

Abstract

Literasi matematis dapat diartikan sebagai kemampuan matematika yang memiliki cakupan sangat luas meliputi kemampuan dalam mengartikan, menggunakan, serta menafsirkan keilmuan matematika yang dihubungkan dengan berbagai situasi maupun kondisi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pentingnya kemampuan literasi matematis tersebut, rupanya masih belum searah dengan capaian hasil siswa Indonesia di tingkat Internasional, perolehan nilai pada PISA 2018 membuktikan bahwa siswa Indonesia memiliki literasi dalam matematika masih di bawah standar yang diharapkan. Penyebab rendahnya literasi matematis dapat disebabkan oleh faktor personal berupa Adversity Quotient. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari Adversity Quotient tipe Quitters, Campers, dan Climbers. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII dari salah satu SMP Negeri yang ada di Cirebon sebanyak 29 orang yang kemudian dipilih 3 subjek dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah subjek Quitters hanya dapat untuk memenuhi satu tahap proses literasi matematis yaitu merumuskan (formulate). Subjek Campers dapat untuk memenuhi dua tahap proses literasi matematis yaitu merumuskan (formulate), dan menggunakan (employ). Subjek Climbers telah dapat untuk memenuhi tiga tahap proses literasi matematis yaitu merumuskan (formulate), menggunakan (employ), dan menafsirkan (interpret).

Abstract

This research utilized a qualitative approach to providing a descriptive and in-depth exploration of elementary school students' mathematical and conceptual understanding of their learning interests. The study includes 20 participants, selected based on the categories of their learning interests, with three representatives chosen from each category. Participants are also selected based on their age, according to Piaget's theory, and communication abilities. Data collection techniques involve data reduction, data categorization, and data verification. Based on the research findings and discussions, it can be concluded that students with high learning interests demonstrate a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Similarly, students with moderate learning interest exhibit a commendable grasp of mathematical concepts, while students with low learning interest tend to have lower conceptual understanding. For future research, it is recommended to explore the use of instructional media to assess children's learning interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the learning obstacles experienced by students at Nurul Huda Jannatun Vocational High School. This study is a qualitative research that uses the Didactical Design Research (DDR) model. The population of the study consists of 32 students from the 11th grade of Nurul Huda Jannatun Vocational High School, while the sample is taken from 3 students using purposive sampling method. The research findings reveal the following student obstacles: lack of readiness to receive learning due to a lack of motivation in learning, lack of knowledge of formulas to solve problems, misinterpretation of problems leading to errors in calculations, lack of understanding of the concepts presented in the given problems, inability to answer questions involving two transformation concepts, inability to answer story problems, perception of teachers explaining the material too quickly and lacking easily understandable illustrations, and inadequate teaching materials that do not explain the material in detail for each part

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical representation of students in geometry material after learning with the help of GeoGebra. This research is motivated by students' difficulty in interpreting geometric shapes. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 3 (three) class XII students who had obtained three-dimensional material with the help of GeoGebra applications. Researchers carry out the data collection process by providing mathematical representation ability test questions, conducting interviews, and taking documentation. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using specialized triangulation-checking techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and the effects of interviews with all research subjects, it can be concluded that learning geometry with the help of GeoGebra applications can improve mathematical representation capabilities. Three mathematical representation abilities, namely visual representation, equation or expression, and written words or texts, are possessed by students after learning geometry with the help of GeoGebra applications.

Abstract

Educational innovation continues to develop with advances in digital technology, including the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in learning. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of AR-based mathematics books (MathAR Book) on students' mathematical understanding. MathAR Book integrates traditional learning content with AR elements such as 3D visualization and interactive animations to increase student interest and engagement in learning mathematics. This research methodology uses a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of class XII students who were randomly selected and divided into an experimental group that used the MathAR Book and a control group that used conventional textbooks. The instruments used include tests of understanding mathematical concepts, learning motivation questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematical understanding in the experimental group compared to the control group. MathAR Book students also showed increased learning motivation and concept visualization abilities. Student feedback indicates that AR creates a more engaging and effective learning environment. In conclusion, the MathAR Book effectively improves students' mathematical understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze articles that meet the criteria of the study of the litelature study of Computational Thinking research trends in Mathematics learning at the elementary level in 2019-2024, the research method uses PRISMA, all articles have been filtered according to the needs of the research. The results of the study revealed that there were two articles that used CT in high school Mathematics learning. The results of the first article of the study showed that high school students had a positive attitude towards programming and high self-efficacy. Meanwhile, the results of the second article research show that educational games can improve students' academic achievement. In addition, this learning approach provides a fun learning environment. This study is expected to be a reference for future researchers
