Abstract

Belimbing Tanah (B. parviflora), anggota genus Baccaurea, telah digunakan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat. Pemanfaatan Baccaurea sebagai bahan obat disebabkan karena adanya kandungan fitokimianya yang dapat berfungsi sebagai agen antioksidan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyelidiki kandungan antioksidan pada daun Belimbing Tanah pada dua ketinggian yang berbeda. Metode DPPH (2,2-Difenil-1-Pikrihidrazil) digunakan untuk menguji aktivitas antioksidan. Aktivitas antioksidan pada dua lokasi yang berbeda ketinggian tergolong kategori aktivitas kuat, yang diperoleh pada dataran tinggi yaitu Desa Muaro Hemat, Kerinci, Jambi dengan nilai sebesar 54,01 μg/mL dan dataran rendah di Kebun Tanaman Obat Universitas Andalas, Padang sebesar 59,69 μg/mL kuat

Abstract

Prior to initiating the conservation effort, conducting a bamboo species inventory in a specific area is crucial for obtaining information about the diversity status of the species in that region. Species inventorying is a fundamental step in ensuring that conservation efforts are targeted, effective, and based on sound scientific data. Regrettably, status of bamboo diversity in Sumatra is unavailable. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the status of bamboo diversity in Sumatra. The study gathered data from literature review. It covered bamboo species, their statuses (endemic, introduced, ex-situ conservation, and threatened), and encompassed the main Sumatra Island and surrounding smaller islands. Species were re-identified and validated. Conservation status was assessed based on IUCN categories. There are 73 species of bamboo in the Sumatra region, representing 10 genera: Bambusa (11 species), Chimonobambusa (1 species), Dendrocalamus (10 species), Dinochloa (2 species), Gigantochloa (26 species), Melocanna (1 species), Neololeba (1 species), Phyllostachys (1 species), Schizostachyum (19 species), and Thyrsostachys (1 species). Eighteen species of Sumatran bamboo are known as introduced species, and 30 species are endemic to Sumatra, with the majority belonging to Gigantochloa (15 species). The least represented are Bambusa and Dinochloa, each having one endemic species. Bambusa heterostachya, Dendrocalamus giganteus, and Dendrocalamus membranaceus fall into the “least concern” (LC) category on the IUCN Red List, while the remaining 70 species have not been evaluated. A total of 44 species have been planted (conserved) in botanical gardens in Indonesia, while the remaining 29 species have not yet been conserved.

Abstract

Climate change caused by increasing greenhouse gas emissions, especially CO2, and deforestation, is an urgent global issue. The REDD+ program initiated by the UN aims to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon storage in forests. This research aims to measure and analyze biomass and organic and inorganic carbon reserves in the Silokek Geopark area, Sijunjung Regency. The method used in this research is non-destructive sampling and using a destructive sampling method. Transects were carried out using the transect method using purposive sampling and were made in 10 plots 100 m long with square plots measuring 10x10 m for trees, 5x5 m for saplings, and 2x2 m for undergrowth. Next, the limestone samples used the chip sampling method and XRF analysis. The research results showed that the total organic biomass was 326,748 tons/ha, carbon reserves were 153,571 tons/ha, and carbon absorption was 563,607 tons/ha, which is categorized as high. The inorganic carbon content in the Silokek Geopark karst area is 4,908.07 tons/ha and inorganic carbon absorption is 18,012.60 tons/ha

Abstract

This study examines the implications of motoric physical learning in the Covid 19 pandemic era in the education services of PAUD Melati Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Makassar State University. The purpose of this study was to determine the impatience of gross motoric physical learning in the Covid 19 pandemic era. The approach used in this study was a qualitative research approach with qualitative descriptive research. The object of the study involved 24 teachers and principals and students in the 5-6 years service age group. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the implementation of gross motoric physical learning in the Covid 19 pandemic era carried out physical motor learning by using rhythmic gymnastics which was done once a week. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang implematasi pembelajaran fisik motorik di era pandemi covid 19 pada layanan pendidikan PAUD Melati Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Universitas Negeri Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui impematasi pembelajaran fisik motorik kasar di era pandemi Covid 19. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian melibatkan guru dan kepala dan peserta didik sebanyak 24 orang pada kelompok usia layanan 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dari implematasi pembelajaran fisik motorik kasar di era pandemi covid 19 melaksanakan pembelajaran fisik motorik adalah dengan menggunaan senam irama yang dilakukan sekali dalam sepekan.

Abstract

The presence of Gadgets has become an integral part of everyday life, including in the Early Childhood environment. In this modern era, children are exposed to technology that is made to facilitate human life in this increasingly advanced era. They are often exposed to a variety of multimedia content, which can affect their language, understanding and the way they communicate. The essence of education is actually given from an early age to help the development of children. A child's ability to recognize themselves and their surroundings as well as increased awareness related to their physical growth is called child development. Language development is one of the many developments that young children experience. Parents, educators and researchers are very concerned about the influence of devices on children's language development. However, there are doubts about whether the use of devices can affect children's language ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gadgets on the language development of children aged 3-6 years in Makassar City, The type of research used was quantitative. The research instrument used a questionnaire "The Effect of Gadgets" and "Language Development of Three to Six Year Old Children". The scale used to measure is Likert Scale The data analysis technique used is simple regression technique and data analysis using SPSS 26 for Windows. Based on the results of our quantitative data analysis conducted in Makassar city, 70% of children who use gadgets in Makassar city but it does not interfere with children's language development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terhadap Kecerdasan Visual Spasial Anak Usia Dini. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 75 orang anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 anak dengan pembagian 14 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 14 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. Setelah pemberian perlakuan, dilakukan uji Wilcoxon untuk data hasil kecerdasan visual spasial anak padakelompok eksperimen yang menunjukkan nilai sebesar -2,201 dan nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, terdapat perbedaan kecerdasan visual spasial anak pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning melalui permainann kontruktif balok berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan visual spasial anak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lego terhadap kesanggupan membaca awal pada anak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif yaitu penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode ekperimen terhadap kemampuan awal membaca anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Two Groups Pretest Posttest Design, yaitu desain penelitian yang terdapat pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberi perlakuan.Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks menggunakaan aplikasi SPSS diperoleh Asymp Sig (2-tailed) 0,05 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya ada pengaruh permainan lego huruf terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca awal anak yang menerima perlakuan permainan lego huruf lebih baik dibandingkan anak yang meneima perlakuan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of animated movies' problem-based learning (PBL) on kids' critical thinking abilities between the ages of five and six. A quantitative strategy based on a quasi-experimental design is the methodology employed. using a purposive sample method with kids between the ages of five and six. 36 children were employed in this study; 18 from Bidarayya Kindergarten served as the experimental group, while 18 from Asdani Kindergarten served as the control group. Tests, observations, and documentation are used to collect data. In order to characterize the data in this investigation, two sample independent t-tests and a precondition test were utilized. According to the results of the sample independent t-test, there is a difference between the average critical thinking abilities of children aged 5 to 6 in Bidarayya Kindergarten and Asdani Kindergarten. The Equal Variances Assumed Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.002, which is less than the alpha value of 0.05, meaning that h0 is rejected and ha is accepted. The hypothesis can thus be supported by the independent sample t-test analysis findings. ABSTRAKPenelitian kali ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (pbl) yang digunakan dalam video animasi mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis anak-anak berusia lima hingga enam tahun. Dengan metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis desain quasi eksperimen. Menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposif sampling dengan melibatkan anak-anak dari usia lima hingga enam tahun. Studi ini mengumpulkan 36 anak; 18 anak TK Bidarayya digunakan (kelompok eksperimen), dan 18 anak TK Asdani (kelompok kontrol). Adapun metode pengumpulan datanya melalui tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Studi ini menggunakan dua uji t-test independen sampel dan uji prasyarat untuk menguraikan data. Hasil uji independen sampel t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai Equal Variances Assumed Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,002, yang kurang dari nilai alpa 0,05 berarti h0 ditolak dan ha diterima yaitu ada perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Bidarayya dan TK Asdani. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis independent sample t-test maka hipotesis dapat dibuktikan.

Abstract

The essence of Islamic education is the effort of devout Muslim adults to consciously direct and guide the growth and development of their students' fitrah (basic abilities) through Islamic teachings towards the maximum point of growth and development. Theoretically, education means feeding a person's soul so that they get satisfaction in accordance with Islamic teachings, so it must be a process through institutions and through a curricular system that is guided by Islamic law. Improving the quality of Islamic education is an important first step that must be taken. Quality improvement must be carried out comprehensively by using and empowering all aspects of existing resources. The basic strategy for continuously improving quality is through improving all Garapan objects in the management of Islamic Education, starting from improving educational staff, students, curriculum, learning processes, educational facilities and infrastructure, finances and relations with the community. The process of utilizing human resources and other resources must support the achievement of goals effectively and efficiently based on size, grade, conditions and assessment of the quality of goods or services (products) in accordance with customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Kemampuan bahasa ekspresif pada anak usia dini merupakan aspek penting, perkembangan ini perlu didukung dengan media interaktif dan menyenangkan seperti cerita bergambar berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media cerita bergambar berbasis digital guna meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumena yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, analisis tingkat kebutuhan dan lembar angket respon guru, serta evaluasi media dilakukan dengan desain quasi-experimental pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan skala likert pada intrumen dan analisis statik nonparametrik menggunakan uji wilcoxon pada evaluasi media.  Hasil kelayakan uji media menunjukkan valid dengan kategori "sangat valid" dan hasil evaluasi media up-value 0,001 sehingga terdapat peningkatan dalam bahasa ekspresif anak. Hal ini menunjukkan implikasi penggunaan cerita bergambar berbasis digital layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan bahasa ekspresif anak.
