Abstract

This research is based on the problem of low moral values in  early childhood, where children have difficulty behaving politely, behaving honestly, and humbly. According to Weikart, through exploration and problem-solving is an active way for children to learn, which is considered important to help children become polite, honest, and humble in facing new situations with moral values. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of Pappasang Ri Kajang  on the ability of moral values in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a post-test design of one group. The research subjects consisted of 15 children in Wulil Amri Mannuruki Kindergarten Group B who were selected from the research population using purposive sampling techniques. Data is collected through observational guidelines that measure three main aspects: recognizing problems, finding solutions, and evaluating outcomes. The results of the study showed a significant improvement that can be seen from the ability of children to behave politely, honestly, and simply after the implementation of Pappasang Ri Kajang . There was a difference in the average pre-test score of 26.62 increasing to 53.31 at the posttest with a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05). The application of Pappasang Ri Kajang  has been proven to be effective as an experiential learning method to improve early childhood moral values, so that it can be a relevant alternative for educators.

Abstract

This research is an R&D research which aims (1) to find out the need for the use of reading smart board learning media (e-papica) in implementing the independent curriculum to improve basic literacy in early childhood (2) To find out the development of reading smart board learning media (e-papica) in improving basic literacy in early childhood (3) To find out the validity, practicality and effectiveness of reading smart board learning media (e-papica) in improving basic literacy skills in children. This research design uses a 4-D model. Data collection techniques in this research were observation and questionnaires. The subjects in this research consisted of 4 teachers and 30 students. The results of the research show that: (1) an overview of the need for developing reading smart board learning media (e-papica) in improving children's basic literacy, is really needed by teachers because reading smart board learning media (e-papica) is considered very practical in improving basic literacy skills in children, 2) The development plan for reading smart board (e-papica) is designed, namely: Media and guidebooks for using the media, and 3) the level of validity of reading smart board learning media (e-papica) is obtained in the valid category, and the level of practicality obtained with very practical criteria. Meanwhile, in the effectiveness test, the media evaluation sheet was found to be in the very effective category. and analysis of the children's data obtained shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it is said that there is an influence of smart reading board media (e-papica) on children's basic literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the existing knowledge on the diversity of liverworts within the genus Bazzania in Indonesia, specifically in North Sumatra, where such research is relatively limited. North Sumatra offers a rich habitat for liverworts, particularly within the Batang Toru forest, which experiences extremely high rainfall, resulting in optimal humidity for liverwort growth, including Bazzania species. The goal of this study is to contribute to the literature regarding Bazzania found in the Batang Toru forest. Sample collection involved exploring the hiking trails of the Batang Toru Forest as part of an exploration survey. Bazzania specimens were collected directly from leaves and cut from bark, rocks, or soil using a knife. All collected Bazzania liverworts were placed in designated dry specimen envelopes. This research successfully identified 13 Bazzania species, three of which are new records for Sumatra: Bazzania parabidentula, Bazzania parisii, and Bazzania scalaris. The most frequently collected specimens were Bazzania caudistipula, Bazzania calcarata, and Bazzania densa. The presence of Bazzania in the Batang Toru forest indicates that the area remains in a natural state. Consequently, this research aimed to inventory Bazzania in the Batang Toru forest and to enhance the understanding of Indonesia's natural wealth, particularly concerning Marchantiophyta.

Abstract

AbstractAbstractThis research is a classroom action research that aims to find out how the use of audio visual media to improve students' science learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the use of audio visual media can improve science learning outcomes for fifth grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 80 Parepare. The data collection instrument used documentation, tests and observations. Data analysis techniques in this study are reducing data, describing data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research in the first cycle, the teacher did not provide guidance to students so that they did not dare to express their opinion. The results of the observation of the first cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting found that 9 out of 16 students got a complete score (56.25%) and 7 people out of 16 students (43.75%)) who got an incomplete score so that based on the completeness obtained it was still are in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, students have the courage to express their opinions and ask questions that are still not understood in relation to the material. In the second cycle of the first and second meetings, it was found that 13 out of 16 students (81.25%) got a complete score and 3 out of 16 students (18.75%) who got an incomplete score in the good category indicating the learning objectives were achieved by Thus, the use of Audio Visual media can improve students' science learning outcomes. Keywords: Audio Visual Media, Learning Outcomes, Science Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media Audio visual untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah penggunaan media audio visul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 80 Parepare. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu mereduksi data, mendeskripsikan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus I guru kurang memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa sehingga belum berani mengemukakakn pendapatnya . Hasil observasi tindakan siklus I pertemuan pertaman dan pertemuan kedua ditemukan bahwa 9 orang dari 16 siswa memperoleh nilai tuntas (56,25 %) dan 7 orang dari 16 siswa (43,75 %)) yang memperoleh nilai tidak tuntas sehingga berdasarkan ketuntasan yang diperoleh masih berada pada kategori cukup. Sedangkan pada siklus II siswa sudah berani menemukakan pendapatnya dan menanyakan hal-hal yang masih kurang dipahami sehubungan dengan materi. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama dan kedua ditemukan bahwa 13 orang dari 16 siswa (81,25 %) yang memperoleh nilai tuntas dan 3 orang dari 16 siswa (18,75 %) yang memperoleh nilai tidak tuntas dalam kategori baik yang menunjukkan tujuan pembelajaran tercapai dengan demikian, penggunaan media Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Kata kunci: Media Audio Visual, Hasil Belajar, IPA

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan project based learning berbasis media loose part “fun post” terhadap kreativitas anak usia dini. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kuantitatif bentuk quasi eksperiment dengan jenis nonequavalen control design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 anak yaitu 20 anak dikelas B1 sebagai kelas kontrol, dan B2 berjumlah 20 anak kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk menilai kreativitas anak. Aspek yang dinilai yaitu fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa data pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Secara keseluruhan terjadi peningkatan skor pada kedua kelas. Rata-rata skor hasil pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 12,75 dan 26,55. Sementara rata-rata skor hasil pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol adalah 12,55 dan 21,60. Dengan selisih nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 13,8 dan kels kontrol adalah 9,05. Hasil hipotesis diketahui nilai sig.(2tailed) adalah 0,00 ‹ α (0.05) dapat disimpulkan bernilai signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh project based learning berbasis loose part “fun post” terhdapa kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun, hasil pengolaan data menggunakan bantuan dari SPSS 16 for windows.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran board game dalam mendukung Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dimensi bernalar kritis di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua TK di Kota Makassar, masing-masing melibatkan 10 anak usia 5–6 tahun dan 3 guru. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru dalam menyediakan media P5 yang menarik dan efektif, serta kontribusi akademik dalam pengembangan teori dan praktik pembelajaran kritis di pendidikan anak usia dini . Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan media menunjukkan bahwa media dan buku panduan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Tahap implementasi dilakukan selama lima hari dengan tema "Jelajah Kota", dan kegiatan pembelajaran dirancang untuk merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis anak melalui permainan tematik dan eksploratif. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa media dinyatakan sangat praktis (94,72%), sangat efektif (92,35%), dan mendapat respons guru yang sangat baik (92,36%). Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan capaian perkembangan kemampuan bernalar kritis anak sebesar 93,64%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media board game efektif dan layak digunakan untuk mendukung pengembangan dimensi bernalar kritis anak dalam konteks Kurikulum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui gambaran kemampuan awal interaksi sosial anak autis sebelum diberikan perlakuan pada TK inklusi Naima, 2) Mengetahui kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis setelah diberikan perlakuan dalam bentuk bermain drama, dan 3) Mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan bermain drama terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis pada TK inklusi Naima. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal atau Single Subject Research (SSR), dengan subjek penelitian adalah “A” anak autis berusia 6 tahun. Indikator yang digunakan untuk melihat interaksi sosial anak autis adalah kontak mata, respon terhadap nama, inisiasi interaksi serta kerjasama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bermain sosidodrama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil baseline Al subyek belum menunjukkan adanya interaksi sosial dengan sesama temannya, sehingga ini relevan dengan tujuan pertama yang ingin dicapai. Pada fase intervensi (B), ada perubahan posisi grafik interaksi sosial untuk semua mdikator, dimana terdapat peningkatan interaksi sosial antara A dan temantemannya dengan melakukan atau bermain drama. Lalu pada hasil akhir (A2) subyek kembali menunjukkan tidak adanya interaksi sosial bersama anak regular lainnya.

Abstract

Kemampuan visual spasial merupakan salah satu aspek krusial dalam perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini yang perlu distimulasi sejak dini. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan media puzzle geometric shapes terhadap kemampuan visual spasial anak usia 5-6 tahun. Menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, penelitian melibatkan 28 anak di TK Islam Al Azzam Kota Makassar yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (14 anak) dan kontrol (14 anak). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan semua anak berada pada kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB). Setelah perlakuan, 64% anak kelompok eksperimen mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), sedangkan 93% kelompok kontrol tetap pada kategori MB. Uji hipotesis kelompok eksperimen menghasilkan p-value 0,001 (<0,05), mengonfirmasi pengaruh signifikan metode tersebut. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan puzzle geometric shapes efektif mengembangkan kemampuan visual spasial melalui aktivitas pengimajinasian, pengonsepan, pemecahan masalah, dan pencarian pola.

Abstract

The PKM are designed to provide an understanding of the importance of digital literacy skills in the current fast-paced development of digital technology. The service activities were conducted in Barru Regency for early childhood educators, based on interviews and observations that indicated a limited understanding and experience among educators in maximizing the use of digital technology in the learning process. This service was conducted using a workshop model that combined methods of delivering material and hands-on practice in designing, modifying, and developing learning materials using the Canva application. The results of the training showed that educators experienced an increase in motivation to utilize digital applications in learning activities, as well as an improvement in their skills in designing learning materials using the Canva application.

Abstract

Background : Early childhood development, crucial between ages 0-6, encompasses cognitive, social-emotional, and communication skills. Language development theories emphasize communication as a vital aspect of early childhood growth. Children's ability to express themselves supports their learning process and social interactions. Pretend play, involving role-playing and imagination, is a key activity that stimulates language and social skills in children. In urban areas, low social education levels often lead to inappropriate communication styles, making effective early interventions essential.Aim : This study aims to investigate the influence of pretend play on the social communication skills of children in a kindergarten in Makassar City. It seeks to determine whether pretend play can effectively enhance these skills among young children.Method : A quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was employed. Data were collected from 20 children through direct observation and pre- and post-intervention evaluations. Validity and reliability tests ensured the research instruments' accuracy.Result : Children who participated in the pretend play program showed significant improvement in social communication skills. The average score increased from 29 (61.90% of the ideal score) before the intervention to 42 (93.65%) after the intervention.Conclusion : Pretend play significantly enhances children's social communication skills, making it a valuable method in early childhood education. Its application can positively impact language development, creativity, and character formation.
