Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan informasi yang sangat pesat akhir-akhir ini memberikan dampak pada hampir semua aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk pada masalah lingkungan. Dalam rangka menghadapi permasalahan lingkungan  hidup yang sangat kompleks dan multidimensi, pembelajaran biologi memegang peran penting. Model pembelajaran biologi berbasis proyek dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengem­bangkan sikap ilmiah dan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa. Materi pelajaran Biologi dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat diintegrasikan dengan mata pelajaran lain seperti Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, dan IPS. Penugasan siswa untuk mengembangkan proyek-proyek biologi dapat membantu siswa untuk berlatih mengum­pulkan dan menganalisis data, mengidentifikasi variabel, menyelesaikan masalah, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil kerjanya. Melalui kegiatan mengerjakan proyek biologi siswa bahkan dapat berperan merehabilitasi kondisi lingkungan yang terancam rusak. Tentu semua hal tersebut akan dapat berhasil dengan adanya inisiatif, kerja keras, dan kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, orangtua dan masyarakat.Kata kunci: biologi, proyek, sikap ilmiah, kesadaran lingkungan.Abstract: The development of science, technology and information which grow very rapidly nowadays affect almost all aspects of humans life includes the human’s environment. In order to solve the very complex and multi dimension environment problems, the teaching of biology plays an important role. Project based model of teaching biology can be an alternative to develop the students scientific attitude and their environment awareness.  This model of teaching capable of integrating the subject of biology to other subjects includes English, Indonesian, Mathematics, and Social Science. Student tasks in form of some projects help student to learn by doing through activities of collecting and analyzing data, to identify variables, to solve problems, and to communicate their project results. Furthermore, through project activities, student can involve to rehabilitate the unwanted environmental conditions. Of course, all of those efforts would be useful if there are initiatives, strong efforts, and collaboration between teacher, school staffs, student parents and the communities around the school.Key words: biology, project, scientific attitude, environmental awareness.

Abstract

The positive attitude of students toward environment is the manifestation of a positive  attitude of students toward  the environment. The development of student  positive  attitude  toward  environment  can be gotten  through  the aplication of daily attitude  and the model  that student s catch and feel from the environment  where  student s live.  The students need to get the experiences and learn  by themselves with a possitive  attitude in order that they are accepted  by the environment and they  do not  do harm  their environment. The experiences  given to the student  should be prepared  to help them  to share, cooperate, respect, love renponsible,  and having  self confidance. This research aim at knowing  the difference of children’s  possitive attitude  toward environment at students who lern by using video media based environment  (VMBE). Will those who do not learn  by using video media  based  environment  (VMBE). Research  was aquasi  experimental  research with pretest and posttest control design. The data of students positive attitude  toward environment  were gotten  by using  observation  technique ( the observation of students  positive attitude improvement  ) The data of this research  were analyzed  by using the analysis of independent  sample t-test tecnique.The result of  analysis  can be  concluded as follows : with df : 16 at significant  level 0.05 showed that  there was  difference of students possitive attitude who learn by using  MVBL  than those  who did not  learn by using MVBL  (t=3.120)Keywords : VMBE, Possitive attitude toward environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop of learning package 5E model and analyze the effect of its implementation on the differences in student’s critical thinking and arguing skills. Development process follows R & D model by Dick and Carey. Research design follows pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was tenth graders of SMA 1 Woha Bima. Total population is 350 students from ten class. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique and 131 students (four class) is obtained. X1 and X2 class are taught using the 5E models, while the X5 and X9 class with EEK models. Expert judgement results meet the criteria for the development of a very good result with an average value of 3.37. The results of experimental studies showed that: there is a difference in students’ critical thinking in the experimental and control group (t = 3,501, p = 0,001).Keywords: 5E Model, Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

In the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of  2003 on the national education system of article 1, paragraph 1 that education will be successful in learning activities where students are able to achieve the expected competencies of science and give a positive value to themselves. Critical thinking ability and reasoning ability is part of the high school biology course goals that can be developed through a student-centered learning, such as quantum learning, problem-based learning, and scientific approach. This study aimed to develop the quantum problem-based learning model packages and the quantum without problem-based learning (PKBM and PKTBM) with 4 and 6 stage of scientific  approach  toward critical thinking ability and  reasoning ability in tenth grades. Process of development teaching and learning packages refers to the model Dick & Carey. Teaching and learning packages developed to biology course for the tenth grade of senior high school in ecological material. Data were  collected by using instruments feasibility characteristics of teaching and learning packages. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the syllabus and the learning lesson plan (LLP)  got a worthy category; worksheets, tests of critical thinking ability and tests of reasoning ability got a very worthy category to used in tenth grades of senior high school.Keywords: PKBM, PKTBM, scientific approach, critical thinking ability, reasoning ability

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning on cognitive learning outcomes in terms of students' academic abilities. This study was aquasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design with 2x4 factorial design. The study population was a student of biology education STKIP Bima semester IV, total of 8 classes with a number of 336 students. Samples were obtained through a simple random sampling technique, of which there are 8 classes taken 4 classes as the sample with 168 students.The research instrument is a cognitive achievement test. The data were analyze dusing statistical techniques Anacova two paths. The results showed that 1) There is influence of cooperative learning model type STAD, Jigsaw II, and the TGT to the cognitive achievement of students (p <0.05), 2) There is influence of academic ability on the cognitive achievement of students (p <0.05) , 3) There is no influence to interaction effect between cooperative learning model type STAD, Jigsaw II, and TGT with academic ability of the student cognitive learning outcomes (p> 0.05), 4) Different test results show that the cooperative learning model TGT significant differences in their effects oncognitive learning outcomes, compared with Jigsaw II, and STAD (coefficient positively and sig. <0,05).

Abstract

Arguing ability was a part of critical thinking skills which important to be mastered by the students. In fact, students’ ability to argue was still relatively low. This referred to the TIMSS report (The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) in 2011, and showed that Indonesian children’s level in science was positioned in 42 from 45 countries. One kind of efforts to improve the quality of the ability to argue was applying the model of guided inquiry. This study was aimed to develop inquiry-based learning tools (PPBIT) and analyzed its effectiveness in developing the ability to argue of students at SMAN 2 Taliwang-West Sumbawa. PPBIT was carried out by applying 4D procedure. Then, pretest posttest control group design also completely concerned in determining the effectiveness of PPBIT. There were 66 students as the sample which was scattered from two classes and was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that PPBIT was appropriately to be used for students argumentation  skills’ activities by an average of feasibility syllabus 78.71%, RPP 83.5, LKITS 75%, and Instruments KB 80.25%, and effective in improving the ability to argue the class X SMAN 2 Taliwang, particularly on the subject of environmental pollution and recycling of waste by the average score of the students' ability from 48.22 up to 85.08Keyword: PPBIT, Argument

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop appropriate inquiry-based science teaching materials to improve students' scientific literacy. This type of research includes research and development. The development research procedure carried out in teaching materials refers to the development steps of Dick and Carey, there are ten (10) stages. However, in this development research, it was only carried out up to stage nine (9) namely at the stage of implementing formative evaluation and revising the product. In addition to developing teaching materials, researchers also developed a syllabus, lesson plans, and evaluation instruments. This research only focuses on the priority of science teaching materials. The data collection technique used a validation questionnaire sheet which was assessed by product experts and media experts. The data analysis technique used Aiken's V. Based on the results of the validity analysis using the Aiken index and the reliability analysis using the agreed proportion, it is known that the inquiry-based science teaching materials developed have valid and reliable criteria.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran dapat mengatasi keterbatasan pendidik dalam menyampaikan informasi maupun keterbatasan jam pelajaran di kelas. Permasalahan terkait media pembelajaran adalah belum maksimalnya pemanfaatan media sebagai sumber belajar dan masih banyak pendidik yang belum mengembangkan media pembelajaran, termasuk yang dialami oleh guru mitra. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan untuk memotivasi dan menfasilitasi tenaga pendidik agar mampu memanfaatkan smartphone sebgagai media pembelaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, demonstrasi dan praktik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket mengenai persepsi peserta terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Indikator keberhasilan pelatihan ini meliputi tingkat pembelajaran, tingkat perilaku, tingkat reaksi dan tingkat hasil. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengolahan data keseluruhan indikator adalah peserta setuju bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan telah berjalan dengan baik, dimana sebagian besar peserta berpandangan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan telah memberikan manfaat yang mendalam dan sangat membantu dalam peningkatan kualitas diri peserta.

Abstract

Selama ini pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan belum banyak dilakukan. Sampah yang ada hanya dibuang  ke tempat sampah, Namun jika dikelola dengan baik maka lingkungan akan menjadi sehat dan mendatangkan  keuntungan  karena dapat dijadikan pupuk organik yang  dapat  digunakan untuk menyuburkan lahan pertanian dan mendukung pertanian ramah lingkungan yang diharapkan semua pihak. Di Kampus FKIP Unram belum mengelola sampah dengan mengubah sampah menjadi pupuk. Oleh karena itu perlu upaya untuk  mengelola sampah yang ada menjadi pupuk bokashi dengan bioteknologi EM4. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ialah mengimplementasikan bioteknologi  EM4  untuk mengelola sampah menjadi pupuk  bokashi. Metode yang digunakan  meliputi  ceramah, pelatihan, diskusi tanya jawab dan pendampingan pengelolaan sampah dengan bioteknologi EM4 di kampus FKIP Universitas Mataram. Hasil pengabdian  sebagai berikut : 1). seluruh peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian pelatihan pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan Kampus FKIP Unram  menggunakan  Bioteknologi EM4 (Effective Microorganism) menjadi  pupuk bokashi. 2). Materi pelatihan 100% peserta  mengikuti dan memahami isi kegiatan pengabdian. 3). Hasil pelatihan dapat diterapkan dengan menghasilkan pupuk bokashi yang siap diaplikasikan untuk tanaman. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini adalah pengelolaan sampah dengan bioteknologi EM4 di Kampus FKIP Unram telah dilakukan dengan menghasilkan produk pupuk bokashi yang baik oleh peserta pengabdian.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan manajemen kesiswaan dengan kinerjaguru, hubungan disiplin kerja guru dengan kinerja guru dan untuk mengetahui hubunganmanajemen kesiswaan dan disiplin kerja guru secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru.Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri yang berjumlah 44 orang.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner danmenggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : 1) ada hubunganmanajemen kesiswaan dengan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri Kabupaten LombokBarat dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,329, 2) ada hubungan disiplin kerja guru dengankinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat dengan r hitung sebesar0,313, 3) ada hubungan manajemen kesiswaan dan disiplin kerja guru secara bersama-samadengan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat dengan nilai sifFchance sebesar 0,032. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperdalam variabel yang sudahditeliti sehingga dapat memberikan informasi yang komprehensif dalam meningkatkankinerja guruKata kunci : Manajemen kesiswaan, disiplin kerja guru, kinerja guruABSTRACKThis study aims to determine the relationship of the student management with the teacherperformance, relations discipline teachers labor with teacher performance, and to determinethe relationship of student management and discipline of teachers working together with theperformance of teachers. The study population was all teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri withamount 44 people. This study uses a quantitative approach that is collected by a questionnaireand using multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are: 1) there is arelationship with the teacher performance management student at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri withthe value of r calculated at 0.329, 2) there is a relationship of work discipline teachers withteacher performance in SMK Negeri 1 Kediri with the value of r calculated at 0.313, 3) Thereis relation of student management and discipline of teachers working together with theperformance of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri with sig Fchance amounted to 0,032..
