Numeracy is one of the basic skills that students must have, especially students in elementary schools. Meanwhile, SDN 14 Cakranegara is one of the school partners that has implemented the Kurikulum Merdeka. Thus, reforms are needed in the implementation of learning, especially numeracy. Teachers at SDN 14 Cakranegara need refreshment regarding implementing numeracy learning that is fun and meaningful for students. Therefore, the service team intends to carry out training on the implementation of numeracy learning for elementary school teachers. This service goes through a process of preparation, implementation and evaluation (reporting). The training method is carried out by presenting material and implementing numeracy learning practices. The training was held on November 25 2023 with participants being teachers at SDN 14 Cakranegara. The training includes presentation of material, numeracy learning practice, and discussion. After that, an evaluation was carried out and the participants' responses to the activities were explored. A total of 9-11 participants stated that they understood numeracy and were able to explain numeracy across the curriculum in school learning

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran project based learning berbasis biopreneurship terhadap sikap ilmiah dan minat wirausaha pada siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain Putri NW Narmada. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA Putri Pondok Pesantren MA NW Narmada berjumlah 185 siswa yang tersebar dalam 8 kelas yaitu kelas IPA A sampai IPA H. Sampel pada penelitian ini ada dua kelas dengan jumlah 41 orang, kelas IPA G sebagai kelas kontrol dengan 19 siswa dan kelas IPA F dengan kelas eksperimen ada 22 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sikap ilmiah dan minat wirausaha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran project based learning berbasis biopreneurship terhadap sikap ilmiah, dan memiliki nilai N-gain di kelas eksperimen 0,07>0,05 pada kelas kontrol. Sedangkan minat wirausaha, dengan nilai N-gain di kelas eksperimen 0,15>0,11 pada kelas kontrol pada siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi kelas X IPA MA Nurul Haramain NW.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-readiness dan kecenderungan berpikir kritis terhadap miskonsepsi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini 216 peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri di kabupaten Lombok timur. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket e-readiness, angket kecenderungan berpikir kritis, dan tes miskonsepsi yang dipadukan dengan metode CRI. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan abntuan program SPSS 16. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda secara parsial menemukan bahwa e-readiness (sig.0,008<0,05) dan kecenderungan berpikir kritis (sig. 0,000<0,05) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap miskonsepsi pembelajaran biologi dengan koefisien korelasi negatif. Analisis regresi berganda secara simultan menemukan bahwa e-readiness dan kecenderungan berpikir kritis (sig. 0,000<0,05) memthispunyai pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap miskonsepsi dengan koefisien regresi negatif. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa e-readiness dan kecenderungan berpikir kritis secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh terhadap miskonsepsi pembelajaran biologi dengan koefisien regresi negatif

This study aimed to determine the impact of using STEM-integrated Science E-modules to strengthen the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the profile of Pancasila students in the critical thinking dimension. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to identify, disseminate, and synthesize relevant evidence on the impact of STEM integration in e-modules to strengthen the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Pancasila students' professional critical thinking dimensions. E-modules with a STEM approach have developed rapidly in recent years. This study provides a significant impact and potential for improving the quality of science learning and learning materials for students. Several studies have shown the effectiveness of STEM-based E-modules in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. Previous studies have revealed that the STEM approach can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Scientific Reasoning and Scientific Attitude are important aspects of scientific literacy for students to master because they are directly related to the development of science and technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' Scientific Reasoning and Scientific Attitude abilities. This type of research is classified as a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 13 classes of the 10th grade of MAN 2 Mataram, from which two classes were selected as samples determined by purposive sampling techniques. Data were obtained by administering the Scientific Reasoning test and the Scientific Attitude questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include a comparison of average scores and the Mann-Whitney statistical test. The results showed that the experimental class obtained an average score of 75 points (formal), and the control class obtained a score of 72 points (transitional) on the Scientific Reasoning aspect. On the Scientific Attitude aspect, the experimental class obtained a score of 69 (High) and the control class obtained a score of 63 (Moderate). In addition, the Asympt. sig (2-tailed) value on the Scientific Reasoning aspect is greater than 0.05, which is 0.466, while on the Scientific Attitude aspect it is 0.003 or less than 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that although the Problem-Based Learning model has a significant effect on Students' Scientific Attitude Ability, its impact on Scientific Reasoning Ability is not statistically significant in the context of this study. This can be influenced by external factors that cannot be fully controlled in the research implementation process.

Scientific literacy is an essential competency for prospective science educators in understanding scientific concepts, applying scientific methods, and making decisions based on scientific evidence. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Ecotourism-Based Field Practicum Model (MPLBE) in improving the scientific literacy of prospective biology teacher students. The subjects of the study were students of the Biology Education study program, FKIP, Mataram University, who took the vertebrate Zoology course. The research design used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The experimental group used the MPLBE model that focused on the study of ecology and conservation of the Megapodius reinwardt bird in the Gunung Tunak and Kerandangan Nature Tourism Parks, while the control group followed conventional practicums in the laboratory. The research instrument was a scientific literacy test that had been validated by experts. Quantitative analysis was performed on the effectiveness of the model using N-Gain and the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of the data analysis showed a significant difference in the increase in scientific literacy scores between the experimental and control groups. These findings indicate that the MPLBE model is effective in improving students' scientific literacy. This model not only strengthens the understanding of biological concepts contextually, but also builds environmental awareness and scientific thinking skills of prospective biology teachers. This study recommends the integration of ecotourism in biology learning as an innovative approach based on local potential.

Students’ limited ability to connect theoretical concepts with real-life phenomena, coupled with monotonous lecture-based teaching, has led to low engagement in learning. This study investigates the effect of the Quantum Learning model on students’ metacognitive skills and scientific reasoning. Using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, the study involved 41 tenth-grade students at SMA 1 Labuapi, divided into an experimental group (n = 20) and a control group (n = 21), selected through saturated sampling. The Metacognitive Skills Scale (MSS), adapted from Mustafa and Nuray, and a scientific reasoning test based on the Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (CTSR) developed by Lawson, were used for data collection. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests at a significance level of α = 0.05. Results showed significant improvement in both groups, with the experimental group experiencing greater gains in metacognitive skills (mean diff. = -20.050; SD = 5.624; p = 0.000) and scientific reasoning (mean diff. = -32.200; SD = 5.978; p = 0.000) compared to the control group (metacognitive: -11.905; SD = 5.558; scientific reasoning: -14.619; SD = 5.826; both p = 0.000). These findings indicate that the Quantum Learning model is effective in enhancing metacognitive awareness as well as scientific reasoning and is recommended for use in science education to improve student engagement and thinking skills.

Wilayah Nusa Tenggara memiliki sekitar 378 jenis burung, diantaranya 33% (125 spesies) endemik. Kekayaan ini merupakan potensi untuk menarik wisatawan, terutama burung megapodius reinwardt, Philemon buceroides dan Cacatua sulfurea. Potensinya sebagai obyek ekowisata belum dimanfaat secara optimal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk (1) membangun kesadaran dan memperkenalkan potensi burung terutama burung khas daerah sebagai atraksi ekowisata pada masyarakat yang berada di sekitar kawasan TWA Kerandangan, dan (2) membuat leaflet ekowisata berbasis burung di TWAKerandanagan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan lima orang dosen dari program sarjana Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Mataram. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada 25 orang peserta dari kelompok wisata Kerandangan Forest di Desa kerandangan. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan secara klasikal dengan memberikan informasi yang terkait dengan potensi burung di TWA Kerandangan. Sosialisasi lebih lanjut dilakukan oleh khalayak sasaran dengan membagikan leaflet hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini kepada para wisatawan pada saat berkunjung ke TWA Kerandangan.

Pendidikan memegang peranan yang penting dalam kehidupan karena pendidikan merupakan wahana dalam proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia secara menyeluruh. Pendidikan adalah suatu faktor penting bagi kemajuan suatu bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan pembelajaran quantum dengan peta konsep untuk meningkatkan kecakapan akademik dan kecakapan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pre-test dan post-test group design. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 63 siswa dengan sampel ditentukan dengan simple random sampling dan diperoleh 2 kelas sampel yaitu kelas VIII A dengan 31 siswa, VIII B dengan 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes kecakapan akademik dan lembar observasi kecakapan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kecakapan akademik pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (85,65 > 62,97) dan persentase kecakapan sosial kelas eksperimen 92,4% lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yang hanya sebesar 65,3%. Hasil uji hipotesis kecakapan akademik siswa diperoleh nilai thitung 14,610 > ttabel 1.696, sedangkan kecakapan sosial siswa diperoleh nilai thitung 10,148 >ttabel 1.696. Kesimpulannya bahwa pembelajaran quantum dengan peta konsep efektif meningkatkan kecakapan akademik dan kecakapan sosial siswa.

Computational thinking siswa perlu diberdayakan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan diintegrasikan dengan media pembelajaran smart apps creator. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan smart apps creator terhadap Computational thinking siswa kelas X MAN 2 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain non-equivalent control grup design. Penelitian dilakukan di MAN 2 Mataram dengan populasi kelas X. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara acak berdasarkan kemampuan akademik siswa yang dilihat dari hasil pelaksanaan Placement Test sehingga didapatkan hasil kelas X-12 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X-13 sebagai kelas kontrol. emampuan Computational thinking diukur menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Uji asumsi klasik menggunakan uj normalitas. uji homogenitas, dan uji linearitas. Data dianalisis dengan ANCOVA sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap Computational thinking siswa kelas X MAN 2 Mataram dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai rata-rata terkoreksi kelas eksperimen yakni 75,031 lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yakni 60,688. Hasil ini menunjukkan tahapan pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media smart apps creator mampu menjadikan pembelajaran di kelas lebih interaktif sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan Computational thinking siswa.
