Abstract

Abstrak – Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan literasi digital guru SD Inpres Katangka melalui pelatihan pengenalan konsep deep learning dan artificial intelligence. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra meliputi pemahaman terbatas mengenai pendekatan pembelajaran kontemporer dan rendahnya penguasaan teknologi AI dalam mendukung tugas keprofesionalan guru. Metode pelaksanaan mengadopsi pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif melalui lima tahapan: sosialisasi dan penyuluhan (25%), pelatihan intensif (25%), pendampingan dan evaluasi (50%), serta program keberlanjutan. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 24 peserta selama enam bulan dengan melibatkan tim pengabdi yang terdiri dari empat dosen dan dua mahasiswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan 92% peserta memahami konsep deep learning yang mencakup mindful learning, meaningful learning, dan joyful learning, serta 92% peserta meningkat kemampuannya dalam memanfaatkan platform AI. Sebanyak 85% peserta berhasil mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis AI dan 86% telah mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran reguler dengan peningkatan engagement peserta didik rata-rata 35%. Program ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SD Inpres Katangka.Kata kunci: artificial intelligence, deep learning, kompetensi guru, literasi digital, pengabdian masyarakat

Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah merevolusi cara masyarakat, termasuk mahasiswa, dalam memperoleh pengetahuan keislaman melalui media sosial. Fenomena ini melahirkan bentuk baru dakwah digital yang bersifat interaktif, cepat, dan mudah diakses, namun sekaligus menimbulkan tantangan terhadap kedalaman pemahaman keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola konsumsi konten dakwah di media sosial oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Negeri Makassar, mengidentifikasi dampaknya terhadap pemahaman keislaman mahasiswa Muslim, serta mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas penyampaian dakwah digital. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, kuesioner terbuka, dan dokumentasi konten dakwah digital sebagai sumber data primer, serta literatur akademik relevan sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengonsumsi konten dakwah dengan intensitas dan preferensi yang beragam, yang berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan, penghayatan spiritual, dan praktik keagamaan mereka. Efektivitas konten dakwah digital dipengaruhi oleh kredibilitas pendakwah, karakteristik pesan, literasi digital mahasiswa, dan lingkungan sosial kampus. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media sosial berperan sebagai ruang pembelajaran keagamaan nonformal yang mampu membentuk pemahaman keislaman secara kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian tentang integrasi teori dakwah digital dan pembelajaran sosial, sementara secara praktis memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik dan pendakwah untuk mengembangkan strategi dakwah digital yang kontekstual, moderat, dan berbasis literasi keagamaan yang kritis.Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Pemahaman Keislaman, Mahasiswa Muslim; Studi Kasus

Abstract

Purpose- The effectiveness of learning, mainly when it adopts innovative approaches such as deep learning, is greatly influenced by teachers' readiness. This study aims to investigate the readiness of primary school teachers to understand and implement a curriculum based on the principles of deep learning. Methodology- A qualitative research approach with a phenomenological design was used to explore teachers' experiences and perspectives. This study involved nine teachers from various grade levels in five primary schools in Cina Subdistrict, Bone Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. Interview transcripts were analysed using NVivo 12 software. This analysis follows the model of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to ensure the validity and credibility of the research results.Findings- Teachers regard deep learning as active and discovery-based, but their readiness remains limited due to insufficient training, weak dissemination, and dependence on support from colleagues, schools, communities, and government. Deep learning adoption will remain uneven due to weak support networks, reliance on a few facilitators, and teacher resistance. Stronger collaboration and sustained professional development are required to address these challenges. Contribution- The findings of this study confirm the extent to which teachers are prepared to implement deep learning approaches in primary schools. This provides empirical evidence of the need for continuous professional development for teachers, especially in adopting learning innovations. The results of this study serve as a recommendation to the government of Bone Regency to take strategic steps to accelerate the effective implementation of deep learning in primary schools.

Abstract

In the era of information disruption, State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) face challenges in maintaining religious authority in the virtual public sphere. This study aims to analyze the strategy of IAIN Parepare’s Public Relations in constructing the discourse of religious moderation through digital media. Using a qualitative method with a Critical Discourse Analysis approach, this study dissects the text dimensions, discourse practice, and social practice of the campus’s digital activities. The results show that IAIN Parepare’s Public Relations acts not only as an administrative information manager but also as a strategic knowledge producer. The findings reveal: 1) Digital infrastructure (website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) serves as a power tool to produce authoritative religious narratives; 2) At the textual level, Public Relations applies a strategy of vernacularization of moderation values by integrating Bugis local wisdom terms, such as “Panrita” and “Malebbi,” in its digital da’wah programs; 3) At the social practice level, there is a transformation of communication from a one-way corporate pattern to a dialogic-participatory one, implying the strengthening of social legitimacy and the institution’s positive image as a center of religious moderation.Keywords:  Digital Public Relations; Religious Moderation; Critical Discourse Analysis; Social Media; Local WisdomAbstrak: Di tengah era disrupsi informasi, Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan otoritas keagamaan di ruang publik virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Humas IAIN Parepare dalam mengonstruksi wacana moderasi beragama melalui media digital. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis), penelitian ini membedah dimensi teks, praktik produksi wacana, dan praktik sosial dari aktivitas digital kampus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Humas IAIN Parepare tidak hanya berperan sebagai manajer informasi administratif, melainkan sebagai produsen pengetahuan yang strategis. Temuan mengungkapkan: 1) Infrastruktur digital (website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) difungsikan sebagai alat kekuasaan untuk memproduksi narasi keagamaan yang otoritatif; 2) Pada level teks, Humas menerapkan strategi vernakularisasi nilai moderasi beragama dengan memadukan istilah kearifan lokal Bugis, seperti “Panrita” dan “Malebbi”, dalam penamaan program dakwah digitalnya; 3) Pada level praktik sosial, terjadi transformasi komunikasi dari pola korporat satu arah menjadi dialogis-partisipatif, yang berimplikasi pada penguatan legitimasi sosial dan citra positif institusi sebagai pusat moderasi beragama. Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of scaffolding strategies in improving reading comprehension among 30 fifth-grade students at UPTD SDN 14 Parepare, utilizing classroom action research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model across two iterative cycles spanning three months. Data were gathered through pre- and post-cycle reading tests evaluating literal, inferential, and critical comprehension skills, supplemented by structured observations of instructional delivery and student participation. In Cycle 1, the average comprehension score was 67.89, with only 40% of students meeting the minimum mastery criterion of 70, while engagement averaged 79.70%. Following refinements such as enhanced peer collaboration and visual aids, Cycle 2 yielded a mean score of 87.53, achieving 100% mastery and 86.37% active engagement. These findings underscore scaffolding's role in providing graduated support to bridge proficiency gaps, promoting learner autonomy in main idea identification, vocabulary application, and inferential reasoning. Grounded in sociocultural theory, the strategy fosters equitable literacy development in elementary English settings and equips educators with practical tools to enhance teaching efficacy. Ethical considerations were upheld by obtaining informed consent from parents and school authorities while ensuring participant anonymity and voluntary involvement throughout the research process. Future studies may explore digital integrations to expand applicability.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of the QuillBot application in enhancing students’ ability to write descriptive texts. Many students struggle with developing their writing skills, particularly in structuring descriptive texts. To address this challenge, technology integration was applied through QuillBot. The research employed a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental class and a control class. The population consisted of 22 students, with 11 students from the 2024 class (semester 2) as the experimental group and 11 students from the 2023 class (semester 4) as the control group. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests. The results revealed that both groups initially had low writing ability, with no significant difference between them (Sig. 0.165 > 0.05). After treatment, the experimental group demonstrated significant improvement (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with 64% of students achieving “Average” and 36% “Good.” In contrast, the control group showed no substantial progress, with most students remaining at “Poor” or “Very Poor” levels. Further statistical analyses, including the Mann-Whitney U test, confirmed the effectiveness of QuillBot in improving writing performance. The findings suggest that QuillBot provides a valuable tool for enhancing descriptive text writing compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, the integration of using artificial intelligence has gained significant attention, especially in English language learning study in the English Education Program at State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Parepare. This study identifies students’ perceptions on the use of Artificial Intelligence in English Language Learning and also the advantages and challenges students in State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Parepare. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical foundation, the study focuses on two key constructs: Perceived of Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEoU). Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 30 participants, comprising 15 students from the 3rd semester and 15 students from the fifth semester, through structured questionnaires using a semantic differential scale. Findings reveal that students are highly useful and relatively easy to use in English language Learning. The students reported higher mean scores in both PU (4,130 = very useful) with positive perception and PEoU (4,213= very easy), reflecting their professional experience and familiarity with technology integration. Students, while positive, exhibited slight scores in both Advantages (4,283= Highly Advantages) and Challenges (4,213= Very High Challenges), highlighting variability due to differences in digital literacy and access. The study underscores the need for improvement and support in technical independence and initial learning phases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Inpres 6/80 Kawerang Kabupaten Bone. Berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian, hanya 48% siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP), sedangkan 52% siswa belum tuntas. Kondisi tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran, penggunaan model pembelajaran yang belum optimal, serta minimnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) berbantuan media maket serta meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif deskriptif melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, tes hasil belajar, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui analisis kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif berupa rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PJBL berbantuan media maket mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran, ditandai dengan meningkatnya keaktifan dan kerja sama siswa pada setiap siklus. Selain itu, hasil belajar IPAS siswa mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan dari kondisi awal hingga siklus II, di mana persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai ≥70% sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan media maket terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Inpres 6/80 Kawerang Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis autoplay terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas V MI At-Tarbiyah Loa Janan. Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di MI At-Tarbiyah Loa Janan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen Quasi Eksperimen Design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran soal, dan uji daya beda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi perubahan wujud benda, nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu sebanyak 78,75 dengan diberi perlakuan berupa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis autoplay, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas kontrol yaitu sebanyak 67,14 dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Adapun hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan uji T bahwa nilai yang didapatkan dari hasil uji hipotesis yaitu sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < nilai sig 0,05 yang membuktikan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti media pembelajaran berbasis autoplay berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas V MI At-Tarbiyah Loa Janan.
