Abstract

The importance of education quality management in improving the culture of qur'any literacy at Miftahul Ulum Makarti Jaya Islamic School is described in this qualitative research. According to the study's findings, education quality management has a role in producing superior output generation that is inventive, critical, leadership, and creative superior and able to compete well and have more value in religious abilities. Being cultural and literate, as well as critical thinking, are two qualities that can develop outputs that are ready to participate in society.

Abstract

This study is to determine the actions of the Principal Working Group of SD Negeri in Lumpatan Village, Musi Banyuasin Regency related to planning, organization, implementation, and supervision. The descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. Techniques for gathering data include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that on the planning dimension, the indicators that are less effective are human resources who do not yet have good managerial performance and competence in supporting the preparation of work plans, on the organizational dimension, the indicators for preparing the Principal Working Groups plan and education and training indicators are not running effectively, on the dimension of implementation, what is to be achieved is not running effectively.

Abstract

This study investigates how the standard policy of educational supervision is implemented in MAN 1 Musi Banyuasin. This research will be carried out for 5 (five) months, including the design, implementation, and reporting of research findings. This study’s design employs descriptive qualitative methods, which include prioritizing data research or the reality of the problem based on the disclosure of what has been explored and disclosed by respondents in the form of interview results and data collected in the form of words. The study’s findings revealed that the implementation of the Standard Supervision Policy at MAN 1 Musi Banyuasin on the Communication indicator as a whole went very well. Running but not optimal on the resource indicator. The Disposition indicator remains rigid and ineffective. The bureaucratic structure indicator was not implemented properly, so it did not work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of zoning student admissions at SMAN 8 Palembang. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects were the principal, the curriculum head, the head of the committee for new student admission, the students’ guardians, and the students of SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data. The results demonstrated that the management of zoning student admission at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang was well-executed. The steps are planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. The response of parents to the implementation that they still have difficulty registering the student’s admission zoning route online and have to prepare requirements documents that must be legalized by the local government. As a result, long before the implementation of student admission, socialization and promotion must be carried out. Admission to the zoning pathway is not an impediment for prospective students who live far from SMA Negeri 8 Palembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and describe: (1) the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance; (2) the influence of the work environment on teacher performance; and (3) the combined influence of the principal's leadership and the work environment on teacher performance. This study was carried out in Kayuagung District Public High School in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, with 59 teachers as participants. Techniques for collecting data include surveys or questionnaires, recordkeeping, and interviews. Construction and content validity are used in the validity test. Cronbach's Alpha is used in the dependability test. Analysis precondition tests include the normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Simple linear regression and multiple linear regression approaches were used to evaluate the data. The findings revealed that: (1) the principal's leadership has an impact on teacher performance; (2) the work environment has an impact on teacher performance; and (3) the school principal's leadership and the work environment have an impact on teacher performance.

Abstract

In 188 countries, school closures caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have prevented more than 91% of students from attending classes (UN, 2020). In the new normal period where face-to-face learning starts to be carried out again as it is today, teachers who perform well will become the driving force for expediting the teaching and learning process. The performance of State Vocational School instructors in Ogan Ilir District will be examined in this quantitative study in relation to the influence of the school principal’s academic oversight and the function of the school committee. Using a Likert scale, a questionnaire was employed as the data gathering tool. The Slovin approach was used to choose 158 participants from a population of 261 State Vocational High School instructors in the Ogan Ilir Regency. The range of norms for each variable falls into the sufficient category, according to the results of the descriptive statistical analysis. Inferential statistics that employ both basic and multiple linear regression to evaluate hypotheses. The analysis’s findings indicate that the school principal’s oversight of academics and the function of the school committee have a favorable impact on the performance of instructors at State Vocational Schools in the Ogan Ilir District.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the facilities school and learning e-learning online together- same Against Performance Teacher Junior High School Country Subdistrict Kayuagung. This research is quantitative. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis tests, t tests, F tests and estimation tests using SPSS 22.00. The results of the analysis state that (1) there is a significant influence between school facilities on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Kayuagung District; (2) There is a significant influence between e-learning on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Kayuagung District; (2) There is a jointly significant influence between school facilities and e-learning on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in the Kayuagung District with a large influence of school facilities and e-learning on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in the Kayuagung District together. equal to 97.4% and the remaining 2.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify and describe the leadership style adopted by the Principal of SMP 5 Tulung Selapan, (2) determine the impact of this leadership style on school management and (3) strategies for improving teacher performance. The method used in this research is qualitative research using in-depth interviews which have been conducted directly with the informants. The validity of the data was carried out with the persistence of observers and the triangulation method. The conclusions obtained in this research are, (1) The principal’s leadership in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Tulung Selapan, Tulung Selapan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency has been carried out quite well even though it has not been supported by complete facilities (2) Teacher performance in carrying out learning is good enough, and (3) the principal’s efforts to improve teacher performance in carrying out learning are carried out, among others, through several activities, namely: a) carrying out teacher performance assessments, b) carrying out academic supervision of learning carried out by teachers in class, c) carrying out follow-up results supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to examine 1) the effect of principal supervision on teacher performance 2) the effect of pedagogic competence on teacher performance, and 3) the effect of principal supervision and teacher pedagogic competence together on teacher performance in schools. The method used in this research is quantitative. The data collection tool uses observation, questionnaire and documentation methods. Data analysis using data regression. The results of the study stated that 1) there was a significant influence between the principal’s supervision value on teacher performance, 2) there was a significant influence between the value of teacher pedagogic competence on teacher performance, meaning that teacher performance is influenced by teacher pedagogic competence, and 3) there was a significant influence between principal supervision and pedagogical competence on teacher performance scores, statistically the data used proves that all independent variables. The conclusion from this study is that in improving teacher performance it is necessary to have school principal supervision and pedagogical competence.

Abstract

Teacher performance is an important element in achieving the goals of educational institutions. Therefore, educational institutions must be able to maximize the factors that can affect teacher performance, which are the principal’s leadership style and teacher motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of the principal’s leadership style and teacher motivation on teacher performance in SMK Negeri throughout the Kayuagung District. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple regression tests. The results of the study stated that there was an influence of the principal’s leadership style and teacher motivation on the performance of teachers in State Vocational Schools throughout the Kayuagung District. To improve their performance, teachers must have high motivation and support from the leadership of the principal who can keep the teacher’s motivation always in good condition so that the teaching and learning process can run effectively.
